If i stand on ground zero and look into a certain direction i tank massive fps and the gpu usage is only 60%
The only thing that mitigates it is putting lod at 2.5 or even 2 thats crazy

Anyone know what's causing Tarkov to have a CPU overheat issues? Tarkov has been causing CPU overheat issues every 2-3 raids for me and it'll flat out crash my PC to BIOS with a message stating: "CPU temperature overheat." For context, I have an AMD Ryzen 7 5800 X, more than enough thermal paste is applied, CPU fan works perfectly fine, I've got 6 additional fans for cooling that are properly installed for intake and exhaust, PC is cleaned of dust regularly every 3 months or so, and PC is placed in an open space for maximum air flow. I'm hard pressed to believe it's a hardware problem when I own exactly 182 games on Steam and Tarkov is LITERALLY THE ONLY one out of 182 games to have this issue. If anyone knows of a solution it'd be greatly appreciated, thanks.

If you get the error where you open the launcher and battleye fails to install and BSG client times out. “clear cache”, “reinstall Windows”, or “it’s your registry” Are not things to look into right now. Its BSG's server side "Is my battleye OK?" packet not getting a response. If you keep clicking play you might get lucky. Here is the prof so you know I'm not talking out of my ass. I also have the packet data that the client sent because it got tired of waiting for a response.

for the record I forced the client, the game, and Battleye to have escalated perms on my machine so it doesn't even ask permission to run anymore. I thought it was just having an issue with trying to run ahead of itself because my CPU is basically a super computers brain but this would have resolved it.

Are you using bsg servers when playing solo or not? (see screenshot attached) because if you are running the game locally when solo and are fine, you should note that when in party you are always on BSG servers. So if that's the case there's a possibility of network issues.

if you have the same issue trying to play on bsg servers solo there could be a host of issues like firewall or antivirus blocking something, you'd have to make sure to add the relevant game processes to your firewall/antivirus/windows defender exceptions to bypass an issue like that, idk exactly which processes, but you can test if that's the issue by disabling your firewall/antivirus/windows defender, i know if you scroll through this channel or search this channel you should find someone's message that listed the files that need exceptions. but if that doesnt solve your issue it's beyond my knowledge.
