You are getting less performance on your friends rig than I got on my i7 7700k and a 1080 which really suggests user error more than anything else. Has your friend done any of the following common steps?

Wiped his drivers using DDU which is a common issue with Tarkov
If you have disabled the Unheard background in menu
Where your friends paging file is saved

If you are still struggling I would recommend Klemintime's discord, he and they are very adept at resolving issues with Tarkov and quality settings for FPS gains

Hey guys, I just got auto banned on flea (pve). I was rapidly buying things, as you would normally get a captcha to stop bots. I never got one but it kicked me back to the main menu, and it kept giving me an error code in the bottom right to complete the captcha but again one never popped up, i tried to click into the flea market to see if it would come up, instantly banned from trying to click flea market tab. Any ideas on how long support turn around is? I've sent and email already]

So what happened was I started up normal tarkov to check something in game and found my game had wiped itself for some reason. I then closed the game and tried booting up arena only to be meet with the video I sent. I have tried clearing my cache, changing the game resolution and I even rewiped my pvp and pve account just to see if that would fix it. The only thing I haven't done is reinstall Arena but I am not sure if that would even help. This sucks because I just bought the battlepass and haven't completed it yet so I would love to receive some help.

Thank you greatly, its not a major thing but the standard kit loadouts. i pick at random in pve to see if i can make it through a raid and the Marksman loadout has the Gssh-01 and SSh-68 which wont allow you to load that kit after the changes 😛

when i bought the game it showed my region as “usa”, but i literally live right between europe and asia. is that a problem? also on the launcher in the “change region” page it also says “usa” and my eu pings show like 400. i’m not using a vpn.

you're getting robbed for what you're getting there for 500. your 1070 will run better than a 3050, the 3050 is just a 1660s with access to raytracing and dlss. none of which you will be using as trying to use raytracing on that card will not be a playable experience and you wouldn't want to be using 1440p on a 6gb card. for 500 dollars id just consider moving to am5, sticking it out with the 1070 for the time being until you can pick up either a used 30-40 series nvidia card, used 6000-7000 series amd card, or going new with something like a 5060ti or 9060xt, assuming they are the 16gb models if you are planning on moving to 1440p any time soon.

Hi there. I am currently locked out of my account because I am not receiving the authentication code emails. It has been going on for over a month now. I can't log in the website to contact support from there, and of course can't log into the game itself. And since the change email option has never worked to begin with I am out of options right now. I have read posts from other players with the same issue but they did eventually get their codes. Is there something I can do to fix this or contact support from some other place?

My friend loast his 2FA device, but is still loged in to the portal. He can't access the security options (it asks for 2FA). He opened a support ticket through the website > Support, got a traceable ticket number... and was told by BSG support to send an email (not traceable due to no ticket number, no guaranteed response) instead of using the support ticketing system. Absolute joke of a company.

And first back up these ini files by copying them to another folder on the desktop.

Try deleting graphics.ini first and try again, then delete the rest if you still have the problem.

If this doesn't fix the problem please paste the files you backed up to replace the files that took their place in that folder.

im having a really annoying problem trying to install tarkov on my D drive, it will install the launcher but when i try to install the game instelf it just gets stuck on "repairing the game" at 0% infinitly and never goes anywhere, i have tried everything i have found on reddit other then installing it on my C drive which is where i had it before. but my D drive is faster and 2TB so i want the game on there instead, any help would be appreciated

Regarding audio and being able to hear stuff in game better, I've always struggled with being able to hear small details in the same way others can. I've played with people that can hear a scav turn on the spot through 2 walls while I'm completely deaf to it with Comtac V/VI's. I've heard that some streamers will use 3rd party software to basically crank up the volume of everything MASSIVELY but set a DB cap so gun shots don't deafen them but they can hear the small stuff. I remember watching a BurntPeanut clip and I swear he could hear an Ant walking.

Does anyone know which software they're using

no but its extremely simple to say exactly what happens its like everything rendered on the screen freezes and turns into a screen shot and it rapidly moves to the left and right jittering. though you can shoot your gun can hear yourself run can hit hotkeys and take meds or w.e but there is that image frozen on the screen it doesn't crash and it will stay like that till you close out the game.

Anyone have any fixes for while I’m loading the cache while loading into a raid my entire PC shuts down? Never had this issue till I had to reset my PC and reinstall the game.

For me their email verifications have been broken since Jan 2025. I have an MS exchange based email that used to work fine, and has not worked all year. After 10-ish emails back and forth with their support staff and providing them everything they requested for proof of account ownership other than my fingerprints and a DNA sample, they simply stopped responding and will do nothing. They have had email verification issues since EFT launched into beta, and seem to have no idea what they are doing and are unwilling to fix it. Just take your money and run.

ALSO after a week for trying to fix email verification. bsg and hotmail or whatever other email you got has a hard time because of IP BAN. not like you got ip banned but google or whatever you use banned shit from russia a lot. some ips still work so you gotta bascially sign and when it sends a verification code, if it doesnt send just refresh your browser and send again eventually it will send to a ip thats not banned and you will get it THEN ONCE YOU GET IT DO A VERIFICATION CODE ON YOUR PHONE AUTHENTICATER APP. so you dont ever gotta get a email ever again

yea no one knows shit its just more then 75% of IPS DONT WORK with tarkov itself. its certain ips and shit like that. microsoft made me get some shit i forgot what it was called from bsg im trying to find the email now. maybe its not IP banning shit from russia but bsg itself emails IP ban them with whatever system they use. not 1 person but like a ai or bot because half the people get bsg stuff right into their junk

like for myself I had no issues until the 24th of November and it fixed itself like 10 days later

and on the day it fixed itself, a lot of people were also able to receive the emails on and off

like for 1-2 hours it worked, then stopped working for 1-2 hours, then worked again and so on

maybe your right but from what i see it worked how i did it. and my friend. i tested it and refreshed page after i got it to be sure and when i did i stopped getting emails again right away. im not saying your wrong tho. it could be that to but from what i see i believe thats what happened

Just change your temp directory to somewhere with more space or create more space

The game downloads the game files then unpacks and installs them and then deletes the files used to install the game, so you need space to do this
