If "nothing happens" when you try to install, and just see the install button again, with no progress after confirming the location to install, choose any folder within C:\Program Files (x86)\ like "EFT" in there and start the launcher as administrator. When playing on Lighthouse, I usually get 70–80 FPS consistently, whether as PMC or scav. However, several minutes into the raid, the framerate drops suddenly to 30 FPS — only when looking in certain directions (typically toward the center of the map). Oddly enough, if I turn and look toward the ocean or the bridge, FPS immediately returns to normal. A few minutes later, the issue resolves itself even when looking in previously problematic areas. This performance dip isn't tied to my location on the map and doesn't persist for the entire raid.

I'm aware of older (2023) reports of memory leaks on Lighthouse, but this doesn't feel like the same issue — I’m not getting a slow degradation in performance. Instead, it’s stable → sudden drop → stable again, in a cyclical way and only happens once per raid.

From another pc that is not infected with malware please change your email's password and add 2 step verification on your email and tarkov account. Make sure there's no email forwarding nor backup emails added.
Then reset your tarkov password and reformat your main pc. (reformat optional but it's highly likely your main pc is infected with malware of some kind).

Hey guys, anybody know why tarkov wouldn’t be utilizing more cpu / gpu for higher frames? I have tarkov capped at 144 fps but I only get 100 ish on most maps and 40-50 on streets / interchange despite my cpu and gpu going to only around 50% utilization max. My temps are fine and my ram is at like 70% utilization max.

Not sure if anyone knows the answer to this but When my buddy and i go into a raid of either pve or pvp. I load in normally but his loads him in 20 minutes into the raid. He sometimes crashes when loading the loot of a map. Whats weird about this is that he use to be able to play perfectly fine. This started i believe a month ago. Update will not install properly or something. When I open launcher it says its outdated, but when I click ot install it immediately says it's installed. Once it loads up as soon as I load the hideout it overloads my GPU and crashes the computer. I can play one raid but after when it goes back to start it crashes. Any thoughts?
