If "nothing happens" when you try to install, and just see the install button again, with no progress after confirming the location to install, choose any folder within C:\Program Files (x86)\ like "EFT" in there and start the launcher as administrator. That location has less permissions and will work.

Arena is a session FPS game, like Counter-Strike

But with all the mechanics from EFT

Escape from Tarkov = Survival looter-shooter extraction
Tarkov Arena = PVP focused team based objective shooter

And the profiles are synced between the two, so XP earned in Arena transfers to EFT and vice versa

Can transfer rewards from Arena over to the main game also

So I completely reset my in-game graphics settings to stock, and am slowly modifying them. It seems like I had everything turned to ultra and was killing my RAM or GPU memory. Since the reset, I have no had a crash. Will play more tomorrow and update you to see if this works.

iam asking for help with the quest rite of passage, i turned in both gas cans and thanks to reshala i cleared the new gas in a single raid but its already 18 days of me trying to get 10 scav kills on old gas and i have 8 of them. they just dont spawn, i tried picking up guns i found in raid and shooting on old gas to lure some scavs in, i threw grenades to lure them in but nothing works. is there any other way make scavs come there? i thought about using some flares if there is any which calls scavs to a specific point.

I was getting the error yesterday. I went to the Arena part of the website & was able to grab the launcher

then i got the No eft Folder issue forever and Auth Error AND that other other that said Gateway timed out.. Something going on, on BSG's end, not yours. I tried the clock auto-update, and Run as Adminstrator. Those seemed to make things move along but even then it kept changing errors. This is from a fresh install, no EFT folder. I think an unstable server connection from the Launcher to BSG is causing these hiccups.

Hi. I downloaded the launcher but once I click on "Install" the installation does not start... Are there any problems with the installation at the moment by any chance?

If "nothing happens" when you try to install, and just see the install button again, with no progress after confirming the location to install, choose any folder within C:\Program Files (x86)\ like "EFT" in there and start the launcher as administrator. That location has less permissions and will work.

i just brought a 5070 and it runs worse then my 1080ti only on tarkov sometimes even hitting 50 fps when i used to get 100+ anyone knows why?

reinstall the gpu driver in the custom install option with "clean installation" checked. this remove shader cache and may improve things.
