Hello, my friend has a really boring bug, when we load into a game his mic will just shut off everywhere. I made im install voicemeter cause I use it and never had that bug since I got it. But on the software it shows his mic as if it was not working at all (detected but not working).

Yeah it is a thing Tarkov kills mic drivers just unplug the mic and plug it back in, that will fix the issue, but once you know it it is easy to deal with, that is if you dont have to go under your desk to do so! (just find a safe spot in PVP to do it. 😅

Hi ya'll, I just attempted to redownload Tarkov after a 2 year break and I am able to login through browser as well as receive a verification code when resetting my password; however, I am unable to login on their launcher because I do not get a verification code and therefor cannot redownload the game. Yes, I watched the video on how to recreate it, I can only create the error code, I cannot fix it. I believe it is the gun I am using, went in with it for 2 raids and I think that spot was where I had previously had it folded up in

sell other instances of that gun that you have, try to make a preset kit with that gun and see if that can grab it out of the stash and put it on your character, so that you can delete it

or make a preset of that gun without attachments, just the bolt, and have it make it

Hey we found a solution so just wanted to let you know. We swapped to Teamspeak to get in voice chat and had no problems at all. So it's either is windows thats fucked or discord with Tarkov that go into a fight to get the mic XD

No, implying systems don’t operate at the same exact efficiency for their entire lifespan, and in my four years of helping people with this exact issue in this server, this wouldn’t be the first time I’ve seen a user play the game as if nothing is wrong, and then suddenly the game is unplayable without increasing the page file size, in fact, it wouldn’t even be the first time today I’ve helped someone resolve this exact issue

Lots of things change with new patches and driver updates and the like, physically the hardware also goes through changes, I’ve experienced it myself when Streets was first released, the game ran fine for a bit, then I was unable to play it at all with server connection lost every time I loaded loot, I increased my page file size and it was working again to the point where I could load in

And I’m sure that same story is shared with many other people here

Tl;dr if a system has under 32GB of RAM, and you are disconnecting without any connectivity issues, then 9 times out of 10 it’s going to me memory related, and the best solution that doesn’t cost money is:
