Launch BSG launcher, Instead of logging in with your email. Use your username instead. Using my email I'm a week into waiting used my username and it took seconds. Give it a shot

I found the fix. I used the direct download pinned but used a VPN to download. You can't use a VPN on the website so it must be direct download with VPN. I'm located in Indonesia, maybe this info will help in the future. Thanks

You will need to redownload the zip file every time if this is not fixed.

The cause is either a corrupt disk or other file system problem on windows, or the permissions on the page.

Just with this specific problem, if not solved, you use the launcher to start the game yes but you need to download the client without the launcher through a link like that, extract the zip to a folder and set the install folder to that folder.

Due to the sfc /scannow keep finding files I would assume your disk has corruptions on it. Please do the disk check on it from the my pc folder > right click on C > properties > tools > error checking.

You can also try changing the launcher temp folder to be on D and install the game to D as well.

Assuming D is an ssd.

launcher settings > choose a folder like D:\TEMP as the temp folder (make the folder) and choose D:\EFT to install it to. Make that folder too.

That might avoid C if it's corrupt.

I would check quarantine on my end but hotmail doesn't allow access to quarantine, I tried moving my email at the start of the year to a domain controlled email but support was unable to help move so I can't test on my end what the failure reason is

i have a question that is related to PVE game mode if someone is knowledgeable on the subject

if you play pve, does coop extracts just not function period? because if all other AI are effectively hostile doesnt that mean coop extracts serve no purpose?

Hi, so I have already have mentioned this earlier, it's been moved up to BSG. So the only way around it is "tricking" scavs or using the distress flare, but that's if there are scavs at the co-op extract. I suggested a work around of either buffing car extracts, increasing the amount of daily fence tasks to complete/increase fence rep from completing those tasks or increasing the distress flares spawn rate & increasing scav spawn rates around co-op extracts.

Aggro the scavs to you, & let them follow you, scavs also attract to unsuppressed shots.

so your effectively "tricking" them into your area by allowing them to aggro on you to enter your immediate area however they are still hostile and can just kill you if you dont get out in the given like 15 second extract window

yep pretty much, a distress flare makes all AI in one area friendly & they will follow you however.

An Altyn & a T6 armour would be pretty effective at co-op extracting with a scav armed with a PM

I expect streets to be impacting performance, maps like customs though, it just shouldn't be happening but it does.

I will ads & the desync will cancel my ads, stutter then frames will drop & run smoothly again for a while.

Is it a glitch that some sights with dots on top have messed up sensitivity on some guns and not others?

Same thing happens with me with a i7 11700k OC to stable 4.8Ghz & a 3070ti with 64GBs of ram & the game is on a NVMe. Just shouldn't be happening.

Some maps run completely fine & some don't.

I love being an EOD owner and being in the dark about when PVE will be rolled out for us. A little transparency other than "oh its coming in waves" isn't enough. if you receive the reset psw email correctly, which is from the same email address of the verification code email, it's definitely not a spam issue on users end and it's definitely bsg not sending that specific email
