Okay so get NVIDIA control panel and ensure in the Manage 3D Settings section that EFT is actually running off your GPU, it's possible your laptop is using the onboard graphics for some reason and Tarkov will simply just not run on 1GB of VRAM, even 4GB is pushing it I wouldn't expect even 60FPS with these specifications

You can try and set your pagefile size on your SSD.

1. Windows + R

2. Open your run page and type in 'control sysdm.cpl'

3. Go to the advanced tab, under performance hit settings
    Advanced again, and change the paging file size

4. Select an SSD drive

5. Untick automatically manage paging file size for all drives
   > Use 32000 minimum (initial) & 64000 maximum

6. Once you’ve entered your size of virtual memory, click Set, then click OK to apply the changes.

7. After that, restart your computer and give it another go

- Keep in mind this will take up some extra space on your SSD for as long as you have that volume on

- This will also very slightly decrease the lifespan of your SSD
- Modern SSD’s will barely be affected (might even *not* be affected)

You can also just try without any background applications

With 16GB of RAM it's entirely possible you are running out of system memory that is available for Tarkov to use, a page file lets you use your SSD as virtual RAM, it is slower than your RAM but for systems with less than 32GB of RAM it is highly recommended to have an increased page file

When I had 16GB Streets was literally unplayable, it would stutter, crash and that was if I was lucky enough to load into it

If you're currently dipping into your page file, then upgrading to 32 GB will increase your performance yes, as you will not have to keep dipping into that page file. It will also increase stability when loading and exiting raids

NullReferenceException was a bug about a year ago that lead to players being invisible to other players clients and it caused massive performance issues too because your game was just being spammed with errors constantly, I don't think it's connected to your issue though I think they just share the error. I would suggest validating your game files in the launcher and ensuring all your drivers are up to date

Hey guys, i def think i need a bit of help from someone who has more technical knowledge of the game, im at my wits end here. I bought a new computer recently with great specs, 4070ti, i7 13700f, 16 gigs ram. Every since last wipe, certain maps literally are blue screening my computer. i have zero other programs running and as soon as loading loot finishes, when it hits awaiting session starts, blue screen. I managed to catch the error code and it said KERNEL_MODE_HEAP_CORRUPTION, this happens with no other game other than tarkov. last wipe it was happening about 70% of the time on lighthouse, and 100% of the time on streets. the map was unloadable until they added low texture mode, now it works almost every time. this wipe, in 9 out of the past 10 shoreline raids, i have blue screened on every single session start. this was not happening last patch before the expansion. Im seriously about to just factory reset my pc to see if that helps at all. ive updated my drivers, tried various issues suggested here, and still nothing. if anyone can read over this and figure out the actual issue, please let me know. ive sent in multiple tickets through the launcher already

yesterday on 2 scav raids, and now on a pmc raid, i get stuck on lighthouse, with the connectivity icon thing. when i try to move, can only move 2 meters and then get teleported back. on the pmc raid, i had a pmc run towards me while i was stuck, was even able to spray a whole mag on him and kill him. could also repack my mag while stuck. so it looks like the server is fine, but i somehow get stuck on terrain or something? after killing the pmc i was able to move tho, was he running a script that was fucking other players or something??

@vivid briar it seems to have worked perfectly now, i loaded into a shoreline raid with 0 stutters. or crashes. usually when i do manage to load in it takes 30 seconds of screen freezing or stutters but that didnt happen. when i checked task manager tarkov was using 16 gigs by itself, which is probably why the bluescreen was happning. 110+fps on shoreline now

here I am again, recently I have bought a geforce RTX 3060 XLR8 PNY 1FAN and when I installed it, it was working fine at the beginning, and then it started to give fps drops in some maps and freeze every 13 seconds, keeping down below 60fps. the problem now is that I replaced the new gpu by the one I had before (GTX 1050TI) and its still giving the same problem. im asking again because I dont know if I should sell the RTX or improve my PC first. (I have to mention that I already tested the RTX in a benchmark and the fps are between 30 and 215, and the GPU its not fully new too)

hey so im not sure if anyone has been experiencing this but whenever i play arenas for a certain amount of time it will make my steel series Articus Pro headsets' mic stop working. Ive tried switching the inputs and unplugged my headset but it doesnt work. hello all! My friends and I have been having issues with discord not picking up our mic while playing tarkov. We can still hear each other in discord but cant talk. When this happens VOIP also stops working. All of my friends use the Steelseries Arcis Nova 7 headset. This only happen when we play tarkov and seems to be random when it happens.
