then you just have to wait for 5 minutes for knight and bigpipe to push you (and then birdeye to follow) as it's quite a boring gameplay loop

yeah but it's seldom birdeye who spots you - knight and bigpipe are the ones 'out and about' because they are programmed to push and that includes AI PMCs so they end up more 'out in the open' and have greater sightlines than birdeye who sits back

it does when they're less sure about whether there's cover between you or not lol. They can be trying to shoot you through the wall, or that "detection" can overrule the slight delay they get before opening fire, the delay that gives you a chance against the aimbot nature of the ai
