I didn't realise that they stuck with the same method of memory management as in 32 bit but just increased the address space to allow a greater theoretical maximum. So if you have 64gb, 32gb is assigned by windows to OS protected memory and 32gb is used for processes. It doesn't seem to be strictly true but it seems to be that way when you're not running memory intensive processes (mind you I'm still reading through the memory section)

Fair enough, for the most part I still steer clear, I'd spend more time redacting stuff to use LLMs and am excellent at googling things. I don't bother with sites (with ai that can't access the internet) because they may be out of date, ISBNs are generally a safe option, but if they can access the web, I will ask for URLs as well and it can be handy for finding resources. I used it in second year uni digital forensics module to find some niche information about the JPEG standard, it was in the documentation but it was quite obscure to find so it was quite beneficial
