Tyranidrosa Cyanwrath, my Half-Dragon Zealot Barbarian of Tiamat.

He was convinced by his brother, Langdedrosa, to accept a special brand on his chest. It empowers him (Zealot powers) and keeps him in line.

He's resentful of his servitude to Tiamat, but can't do anything about it. I like to imagine he works for Arkhan the Cruel.

New character new silhouettes. This time is a tielfing fiend warlock of an eye themed demon lord named Quest. She has set out on an adventure to find the destiny she knows is out there waiting for them.

  1. Definitely the most cultist of them, I imagine them being very mysterious and mystical, perhaps a bit eccentric
  2. Wanted to evoke that powerful mage vibe, probably very proud and knowledgeable.
  3. Felt like trying something weighty and with a real presence about them, definitely leaning into the nautical setting of the campaign.
  4. Striking and powerful I felt like blade-lock could be fun and a mace covered in eyes and spikes with a warrior mage who has certainly had her fair share of injuries.
  5. Something goofy and maybe a bit more tucked in seemed in order, maybe they use their little familiar to speak since their to shy to do it normally. Wanted them to look traveled and a little comical.
    Which one do ya'll vibe with the most?

It's a heroforge mini that I got printed by @placid urchin. I then clipped off the top of the staff and replaced it with a nano-led encased in UV cure resin. The wires are adhered with the same resin down the back (it's for a diorama so you won't be able to see the back)

I use Clip Studio Paint Pro. I used to use Inkarnate but wanted more control. I am a long time Photoshop user but changed to CSPP because Forgotten Adventures has amazing brush assets ready to use in CSPP, and it's only $50. This took a lot of hand drawing. I am not really an artist but more a graphic designer. I am teaching myself to draw. All of these wonderful assets are from FA with a lot of hand manipulation by me.

Not too long by all accounts. 30 minutes to prime, 2 ish hours to airbrush the gradients (that was including cleaning the airbrush out between colors etc, spraying other things). Then maybe an hour to do the teeth and eyes and 30 minutes to do the gloss coat and resin plus base

I'm very conflicted, on one hand my normal painting experience tells me to stick a dark wash over these metallics to give things more definition and contrast, but on the other hand, I love the current shiny metallic look I have, and I don't want to ruin that as washs tend to give it a lot more of a dirty grainy look, I was thinking I could maybe use some rust effects to edge highlight the sharper edges and provide it with more definition and then go in with a lighter metallic color for the highlights on the raised parts

Yea I got their mega paint set when I finally decided to up my game from the cheap acrylics I had been getting from Walmart, a few weeks back, and it was certainly worth it, 50 or so paints for just 75 dollars (Amazon had one with its box damaged so I got it 35$ off) as well as a really nice and comfortable brush

At the moment I'm using army painter's regiment brush for the majority of things, and a few cheap crayola brushes for drybrushing and washes since they have larger fluffier brushs than the army painter one and are better suited for that, plus I'm not worried about ruining them by being rough with them when drybrushing. I plan to get a few more brush sizes though

I think I know why my washes are dulling the metallics, the army painter washes are both a wash and a varnish, so they are likely a matt varnish as well, which out get rid of a lot of the sheen of a figure (though on the other hand for the miniatures that I just end up using it on the entirety of it makes me not have to use much varnish at all)

Well this is my character, I been working on her for a bit in betwine and shes not fully done when it comes to stats and other stuff, but i like her a lot, The only issue i had is that most people i tried play with has said she was odd and yes, maybe a little but she has a lot of potential in my eyes, so i hope i can find something good in this server.

@fresh atlas I designed this boy for a client of mine some time ago. Yuanti abominations require a particular setting to be easily integrated in a group but it’s totally doable. You just have to find the right DM ❤️
