If the Apex Outlaw SLB doesn't appear (I have the skin), then it's not possible to complete the Apex Outlaw meta event.

Strange, but wrong conclusion. The Outlaw SLB skin event does not award any trophies so it doesn't contribute to the meta event at all.

If you're having trouble finishing the meta, then ask your alliancemates to step it up and help them by starting some exchange armadas. It's a team effort and if you're done with events, then it's on them to earn trophies.

It's not this solitary event that is the issue, it's the precedent they set from it, and that they will then consider it to be acceptable for future events.

I don't care about missing one milestone in one event, but I sure will when it becomes common practice.

And frankly if you play the game enough to the point that you are drastically dwarfed being f2p, then spend some money. Yeah. They really made it so with 250 per pill, even if you timed it exactly with 22 hours between each pull with the first pull at 12:01 pm, you can’t get it. It’s really a first for Scopely.

There have been events where buying a ship gave you an extra boost, and I get that that’s the revenue stream, but this is really the first time they go this route

The new crews are impossible to get to a sufficient level where they outperform the oldies … most ships are tier locked and warp locked to your level… and more and more in game currency to collect.

@pseudo rune there haven't been nearly enough apex events to keep up with research available. Spawn rates for xmadas (exchange armadas) has been horrible during the events. Would like to see both of these fixed.

The most effective way to do it is to go back in time and buy Prime Syndicate XP at the start. At least then you have an ongoing benefit.

However as long as you’ve collected three at this point, buying it now will complete it i believe as it will trigger a reset of your Syndicate pull.

Pay to advance is fine. Pay to play is not. This game bills itself as a free game. It therefore should be completable as such, even if that means it's a grind. People paying to advance faster than others is fine. But when you dangle a carrot in front of people to make them pay in order to complete the game, you end up with a frustrated customer base. Those who are saying that 3/4 rewards are for f2p are missing a huge point. It's visceral! Players don't like not being able to complete something. Psychologically, it will infuriate your customers everytime to do this to them. It's a poor plan and needs to change.

The worst thing is that collecting the Daily gave 10x points, 2500 each day, so I ended up with 7500. Then I bought 570 Credits using Multiphasic, thinking I'd get 5700 points, but instead they gave 5x points, for only 2850...still leaving me short.

It didn't extend. The SLB was always 2 days. Usually the armada SMS is on day 3 though. Now you had the SMS on the first day of SLB instead of second.

I think you're complaining just to complain. They slip in events that are a challenge to complete or require paying a premium to complete periodically. It's nothing new. Do you think the SMSs that come in on battlepass arcs - say to build a new ship that isn't free at launch or complete some new powerful researches - are also unfair to not be completable by F2P? ALSO some events that come in are a challenge to complete at first but do get easier as time goes on. I know you've been playing a while since I've seen your name on my server... Remember how hard CoW was to complete in the early days? Alliances on our server struggled to get even 2 or 3 AMS milestones in the 3 days. Now many of us are completing all the AMS milestones in the first 24 hrs. Maybe this SynXP one will do the same... we do get more SynXP/day at some of the levels, it just may be enough to hit that top milestone in the allotted time.

Agree. The SynXP has been called out as a disaster of a rollout this round and had it been rolled out as before everyone, even F2P, would have won. Since they’ve improvded path for F2P to get ships launching one month but can start getting free the next via grinding I’m less grouchy. The only F2P element that can be a pain is the way they’ve implemented broken desealing rods and the length of time (for some better part of year) needed to get into treasury once.

Let’s be honest, the only standards they have are the “give us more money” standard. Everything else really doesn’t matter, and until players learn that and refuse to participate in that model, nothing changes.
This games makes more monthly than AAA subscription console and pc games like elder scrolls. And takes a lot fewer resources to produce and support.

1. The extra Cosmic Cleanup was a good thing, this is a step backwards again Scopely.

2. The pattern of unannounced Away Team events sucks - the rewards are bad, the speedups few and the balance poor. They've been a poorly implemented addition since day one and the increasing amounts of events dependent on them makes it even worse

it all depends only on the level of your opc, the increase of 3*, 4*, 5* mats is not that big, but the resources (par, trit, dil) increase well from level to level between arcs.
With 40 opc, 4* mats additionally appear, with 50 level 5* mats.
But, changing the opc during the already running arc does not affect the prizes from the arc stages

We are players that are just quite active on here and we see a lot of info. My information has come from the Content Creators who have confirmed with certainty the new arc launches tomorrow, they have also launched their hints for the arc which they do about a week in advance
