Rewards go all the way to 200th place. Leaderboards in this game have never been about winning , they are about placing as high as you can to get something, you're up against players who will pay to win. So 7000 event store credit isn't bad in the grand scheme of things. (also the store isn't that great anyway)

They are from events, and the mega cube you only have to get 1 set of 10 from the event store to start the loop with the mega spend/reward event to finish your sms. Which is on its way at the moment, the mega directives rewards event is being started shortly

Regarding the BORG event. My alliance got number 1 in every alb. I finished all SMS. I event got #1 in slb for borg officer.

It's still useful. I still don't fill my hold and I usually send 2 ships out at once to minimise the time grinding. Because of the low level and the lack of any other benefits from grinding, it's an additional task that quickly gets frustrating. It looks really cool too.

like I said... it is designed to get a maximum of 15 shards per event... considering you have to either pay or win the 2nd day leaderboard in order to afford this I would say getting 8 or 9 - as in more than half that is not that bad - and taking paying for pack out of the equation for a moment... only very few people will get substantially more than that - after all it is a fancy cosmetic and a speed-up for farming inert nanos so you don't spend a ton of time farming for credit and/or rep refining... this is designed to have AFTER your vidar is maxed...

I actually love Lower Decks. I suffered through Discovery arc and I positively, absolutely dislike that show with a passion that makes me speak in Ancient Aramaic and projectile vomit whenever it's on. If I can survive that, others can survive cartoon arc.

One of the key principles of Trek is diversity and appreciation of it. It's fine to not like something, but let others enjoy it.

My dislike for it started almost immediately... At the time, my alliance had a mix of large, mid, and small players... but because the Exchange armadas are hard without a Stella (or were back then), it caused significant drama and accusations of us not helping smaller players (we literally could not carry them in those armadas at the time). Too much PDSD (post drama stress disorder) tied to that whole loop.

It's okay. We've had 5 or 6 months of weird random stuff, which was perhaps better than 5 months of one single series even though it got pretty weird at times. There's plenty of new useful content to play with and leveling up got interesting for the first time ever.

If we get a 3 months arc of something I'll probably realise just how tedious this game can get. There's a sort of pressure to play hard because of the linked content which can be annoying. Plus all the new stuff they added that needs working on.

I'm actually kind of hoping there isn't any "must have" content

@pseudo rune exchange space suffers from the same problems borg probe 33 system space did. Next time they run events like this it would probably help server lag issues if there were more high-end systems for hostiles and armadas.

A decently populated server means there are times where the ship limits in penumbra and lindstrom are maxed, and people overstuff them after that.
