I’m still HIGHLY upset about the dilithium/parsteel switch in the rewards. I was teetering on the edge of giving up the lat rush because I don’t have the time to continue to take 1st every week. Taking away the dilithium makes the decision for me. Dilithium is why I got into it in the first place.

I have not been able to collect my reward from the multiple Quark events. Is there a process required to do this? I was informed that all I had to do was go to claim/gifts and it would be there to collect. I have to say, this has been the absolute worst, most monumental failure, of a battlepass you have done. This is compounded by a deprived money grab for everything!

There is nothing acceptable in this battlepass when taken with everything you have done.

The event store is sorely lacking anything. If you had more options, this would have been great, especially if you would have given players a way to grow and compete with events. You could have added dvor parts, dvor bp's, amalgam bp's, anything else and made this great. (Part 1)

(Part 2)
You have released 3 officers but made it impossible for 99% of the player base to unlock 2 of them withiut spending ALOT OF MONEY , even with the elite battlepass (1st money grab), YOU CAN'T! A rare officer (Arrock) is not unlockable! A rare! Why would you do that? But you can buy him to unlock him...for $49 (2nd money grab). You could buy quark for $99, but you could get him if you bought the premium battlepass (3rd money grab) but you would have to wait until almost the end to get him unlocked or buy more packs (4th money grab). So the only way for 99% of the players to get him is paying. Yes, a few got him from the spend event but that is less than 1% of the player base, and, most of them either have to save up for months to win it...or spent a lot of $$ to win it! No realistic FTP paths at all. Unacceptable, especially for a rare officer. Oh yes, you could get enough shards from the Dabo games to get arrock. About a 1 in 500,000 chance. I actually got more quark shards than arrock shards from that. Of course, I got twice as many fess shards than both of the others combined. I only have half his shards.

You released an (upgraded) Latinum miner ship! This should be a shout of joy except you broke the game with it, and not in a good way. It was so bad you had to do an emergency patch to even get it to reach the required systems to start mining!!! That is a failure that should have been caught before you even released it. And the fact that an "upgraded" ship mines a lower resource at a worse mining rate than most other miners is another unacceptable failure. A higher level EPIC miner mines at a lower rate than a tier lower COMMON ship, for a specific material, is a failure. Completely unacceptable and a massive failure on your development team.

This would have been like making players scrap their gas faction miner to get a 4* gas miner that then would mine 3* gas worse than the a horizon. It would killed the game.

The fact that many other miners mine concentrated lat faster than the dvor is unacceptable - it should be thousands faster than the other miners. And worse, most other ships mine regular lat faster than the fessha (a supposedly upgraded lat miner!!!)...again, unacceptable. And you compounded this failure by making players scrap their dvor to get the fessha, without telling them they will no longer have a fast lat miner...unacceptable. And those failures were further compounded because you gave no way to get another dvor, no event store bp's, no missions, no events... nothing....except spending money - another money grab (5th).
Of course, for five times the orginal cost of the dvor, you could get the feesha. But again, you didn't tell players this before hand. You could also buy the dvor back (6th money grab).

You failed at communicating the upcoming battlepass to players last month so players could have bought dvor parts in the event store and upgraded their dvors.

We have the option to get another dock, for all the mining we have to do now, but it cost $49. Not 19, but 49. Unacceptable. On top of the other costs....failure. 7th money grab.

You released a new prime for base attacking. A great build for lasts months raiding ship. BUT, like everything else in this battlepass, it has been an epic failure. Besides rhe standard $99 dollars (8th money grab) for a prime, you made an event for it, a long event....and made a pay wall for everyone. And why release it a few days after the start? And to pour salt in the wounds, you gave players no way to get the amalgam. I am surprised you didn't add the ship to the money store. You provided no FTP way. Nothing in the event store, nothing in the weekly Galaxy event, nothing in the loyalty/alliance turn ins...nothing.

The events have given little to nothing for resources. Half your events are hidden behind paywalls. You failed to update weekly mining events and didn't communicate changes when you did them. You had 3 day mining events which required the fessha and ONLY the fessha, which most players don't have and couldn't get. And several of your events didn't work as written. They failed to give points and you failed to compensate players that would have won but didn't place because you broke your events.

This battlepass has been such an epic failure I have seen many players take the month off and a few have just quit. The only way to effectively compete in this battlepass is to spend hundreds of dollars. You can't compete otherwise. You can't event complete some of the events. And you don't get much in rewards for winning anyways.

The biggest positive is the extra lat from Concentrated mining, which has sped up growth...but without speeding up getting uncommons...it defeats the purpose. So what if I can speed up researches/buildings/ships. If I don't have the dilithium for research or uncommon mats...it is irrelevant.

I do question what you have done. I am not happy. You have failure at every step and every decisions and should never have made several of them. You should have released the fessha in the original state. You should never have released broken events. You should not have released this battlepass as it is.

You have failed.

No one ever said you had to be able to do every single event. Premium access is exactly that, premium access. You still have a path to the feesha for free, you have a path to quark, for free, you can eventually get the prime, for free. The pay utilities are premium utilities. You don't need them to progress but can pay for them to make it easier. Scopley doesn't owe you anything nor have they failed. You just expect handouts for zero work. Maybe this isn't the game for you and should consider other avenues that give participation trophies.

Every event in a battlepass should be doable for every player. Making some pay only excludes. That doesn't mean everyone should rank in every event.

Prime Station event upgrade....the reason is I didn't spend $99 on the prime upgrade and I am not high enough level to scrap epic ships to get 5* mats. Most players are not. But that is all our fualts right?

The fessha mining events. The fessha pvp events. The reason, I didn't have a t9l41 dvor to scrap. I only have a t8l40 dvor with 1 upgrade. And I only have 1 dvor. Yes, I could have had it maxed out if I spent more $$ or not gotten others ships and instead bought dvor parts in stores....but then I wouldn't have other ships for those specialty events either. It is all our fault or not having multiple dvors. It is our fualt for not having t9 dvors huh. I suppose it is the players fualt for having 2 t8 dvors because it was cheaper to upgrade a second dvor to t8 than to take 1 dvor from t8 to t9 too.

If they make an event for a new ship only the should provide a way for all players to participate in a battlepass event for that new ship. They could have easily said opc hits count for any opc hits instead of just fessha only. Same thing with mining, it could have been any Concentrated lat mining but it was limited to fessha only. They did have some events where any lat mining worked. But making some fessha only is a pay wall.

I don't work for scopley but I can say their development team, testing team and any quality check teams failed when their new ships couldn't even make it to the new systems to mine fresh out of the gate. And scooley is the only one to blame. And they had to do an emergency patch to fix that so they know they screwed up.

Tal and Harrison were two examples, there are several more.

Mining lat is super fast with 1. If you have 2 dvor, you can have 1 really super fast and really high protected cargo...or you could have 2 really fast and really big protected cargo. And yes, many players that had multiple dvors would complete on the weekly mining events because they could. You got a lot of dvor parts and you got a lot of rss for it. It was worth it. The only people who could compete are the lucrative space miners and those who had tc with 3/4* but mining lat with 3 or 4 dvors would nearly always be in the top 10 and they didn't have to mine long.

A t1 dvor starts at 32k cargo and 4k protected. Is that a useful miner in a lat event? And the cost to tier it is less than 1 component cost on a t8 miner much less a t9. Is it worth it to tier it up at least once? Same thing either t2...in fact, it is 10k dvor parts to get to t5. Is that not worth it? And then 28k more to get to t6. Is that not worth it? Especially if you get 10k dvor parts for a leaderboard win.

Yes, the t1 dvor (no upgrades) is a useful miner for lat rush - the dvor research means the vast majority of what you get from higher tiers is warp range and max cargo, neither of which is strictly necessary if you're housed in a system with lat nodes and are willing to keep resetting (which you pretty much need to do anyways if you're chasing a top spot in the SLB).

If you're doing it with a single ship, yes, it takes an age

Don’t go for the largest hits, go for speed and volume. Ops 38 you should have three serviceable ships, at least one good hostile crew if not two, and the ability to crew a third ship with a group like Marcus and anti-faction officers. Kill 34-36s instead of 40s and 41s, be done quick.

I’ve used that method since ops 32, now in the upper 40s

You can find a good number of empty systems with explos or explos and traders and go to town undisturbed. Beta penthe, for example, is a prime location in klingon space for people to spam multiple ships because the spawn rate and ship density of hostiles is so much higher than most other systems.

Between 28 and 31, I only got the MilSup event when my faction rep locked. Disappeared when I built the 28 ships. Reappeared at 32 because they want me to build the 32 ships.

Odd that faction rep locking triggered the event, because your rep doesn’t need to be that high to build the 28 ships but like I said, it’s a very secretive algorithm.

Ok, I should say realistically. Yes, you can win Monday mining. But you can't if you don't have a fessha or multiple dvors or save up for 2 months to do lucrative. Not feasible to win every week. So 1 win every few months is not additional parts really. A couple lucky pulls and you have just as many.

You can get the battle debris and get them but again, not guarenteed and not guarenteed to get a lot. And if you need the other ships, you need those bp's more. I had to take some time off from the game and I just now got both the disc and sarc. And only reason I got them was buying additional bp's from stores anytime they came up.

If a player has played nearly every day and done every event, every daily, everything in the past 2 years, and bought the dvor when it came out and got lucky pulls, maybe they are sitting good. But most players are not.

Under normal conditions, excluding outside events and stores, the dvor takes 505 dvor parts. Even if you could average 1k parts a day, that is still 505 days. Even if you got 2k additional parts every week and say you average 10k parts a week, that is still 51 weeks. That is a year. And that is extremely liberal.

And if you bought parts exclusively on events and stores, you missed out on others. And that is assuming you play every day and did max pulls every day. Which was unrealistic unless you bought the dvor when it came out. If you had to wait, it most likely is still not maxed.

You also need to get the dvor in the first place

which is somewhere between 4-8 months on its own depending on when in your account life the event stores land relative to ops level

I had to take time off. I just now got a disc and sarc and still do not have summoning yet. That will help me more than a maxed dvor. Even if I had known this was coming out months ago. The disc is still more useful.

But i know many players that have played that whole time and still don't have a maxed dvor.

If a player is always active and always competing everything, it is easier. But that is several hours of gameplay a day. Most players can't do that and they have to pick and choose. Catering to only those that play 6 hours a day, everyday, hurts the casual and ftp.

A fessha starting out will allow 2k lat a day. A maxed out dvor, even with the prime, only gives 1.5k lat a day. It makes absolutely positive sense to get a fessha as soon as possible.

Maxes put dvor is 5 days of speed ups. A base, nothing else fessha is 3.3 days on a single refine (which few will do) to 6.6 days worth of speed ups.

If I could scrap my t8 right now for a t1 fessha, in a heartbeat.

If you had 100 sins, let's round it is to 120 and say you had 40 pulls. That is 200k parts. And let's assume they would let you get them all. That is still not enough to go fro. T8 to maxed. You would still need 50. And at 1k a day, that is still a month out. And that is to the exclusion of everything else.

And that would allow players to get the bp's needed for a second dvor or parts to start tiering it up some.

Imo, the Dabo pulls is a great idea but the 2 15minute speed ups are an insult. You could get 3 days worth or rare/epic officers. Drop the crap reward or give a day speed up and make it worth while. I got more fess shards than arrock and quark combined.

They should have dropped the officers and put them under their own pull. For 500 grav tokens, you got 1 of each + 1 additional random. Or for 200 you got a specific officer and a chance at an additional shard. That way you could focus on what you needed/want.

And Latinum can be used for officer xp, standard recuit takes (which can give transporter patterns), basic ship parts, even dilithium for upgrades, speed up repairs or build times....lat is king. I've been tracking between arc events, and for the last 6 months or so they have done the Borg event then the Apex event every other time. Based on that, it would be a lousy borg event month so no Stella skin event. If you see the borg event, then you know the answer is not this round.

Well, I'm not spending 26k lat to finish ops, as scopely only make poor arcs and events these days. A new frame will not be worth it. Scopely can stoop lower and lower, just wait and see.

It would be insane to make an effort to upgrade ops because some reward for it will be "good". You have to ask yourself if you trust scopely to make good events and rewards, before you commit to a large investment to upgrade ops.

It is a spending event (g3 and higher mats). If you are want to finish the event with only armadas you should be hit hard with so many armada events next arc. I would always recommend keeping enough to do those weird sms where you have to set epic and rare armadas.

Well would you rather just an auction where you’ll only get Officer shards if you rank, the extra SMS system was always supposed to be a bit harder then a normal sms, it’s the same as ones during the arc, it’s at least a way to get those shards, without having to try and rank high enough in a ranked LB.

Yeah, even for lower level, eg at ops 33 it wants me to spend about 1500 uc g3. That’s pretty chunky, the only saving grace is that the armadas are more significant, so I “only” need to run 4 epics to do the sms.

Lorca is sourced through ultra recruit primarily. This one is a added feature. If it is not worth it to you then don’t do it. I am new ops 40 and investing 10k 3* uc or rushing to spend that in 4* is not worth the shards I would get. But it is always a personal choice.

Don’t fall in the trap of trying to do everything all the time. I Farm eclipse codes with my 3 Stella’s once and after 4 trips I have 1.2M. At my current rep I am set for almost 3 weeks. Same with data: mine it one evening getting 700k - 1M. Done for a while.

That isn’t bad at all, and honestly, for the better. His faction kills aren’t any harder than his normal daily kills, he earns faction credits daily, and Kumaris now are far more powerful than they were when people were first playing the game. If he’s playing smart he should have a second faction above one mil as well and getting a lot more dailies done for extra rewards.

Even when I use a cargo crew on my Stella, which I typically do (2/4/Stonn gives me 221k) I have to do two trips to do one daily chest in Rouge for 300k. Sure I can do several trips in a day to stock up, but the minimum to complete the daily chest is 10 trips a week for me. I'm fortunate to have sufficient research that I can grind with that crew.

If you are that high up this Stella grind is bad. My luck of having relative low rep (one day of grinding is enough for weeks) is slowly coming to an end: my research starts to be rep lvl gated and I am sometimes 3M rep away. Not sure what I do at your lvl.

Stock up on Rouge Trans Warp Cells before your rep goes up. At Outlaw it's 600k each. The daily is 300k security codes and Stella's max cargo without buffs is 100k. Stella needs some cargo research or some better solution. With a hostile crew I'm full and still have well over 50% hull left. It's frustrating.
