We need someone to communicate with live ops regarding the milestones set on the Brothers event for servers that are only a few months old. We don't have a chance of making even the first milestone. Tried it last time and despite organizing our players to buy bribes and hit scouts, we didn't come close.

It's very very high for us. It's also higher than the milestones for server 33....??

There's no point pretending that a lot of the stuff they do isn't a blatent scam or money grab. But there's also no point in pretending like it's a surprise either, we all live in the same world, we all know that money is all that matters to people. So it would be naïve to expect anything different from a business wanting to make money. You just either deal with it, or stop playing. It's completely down to the user to make that choice. Complaining about things that aren't real, in a game, things that really don't matter or affect your life at all unless you let them, is just futile and irrational.

anyone know how where the remaining 70 TNG Mission keys come from? 70 was needed to worlds apart part 1-10 and the one missions involving Data. Or you would use them all for Focal point and could not do any of the other missions. Nothing else showing the Battle pass or the Heroic BP Overflow or any other events showing so fair. Scopley, you should make all events a pay to play only. This will ensure all F2P, and minimal spenders (players who spend less than $100 a month), leave the game. While you are at it, you should start charging a monthly app subscription to for access to the game. These F2P, and minimal spenders, are a liability to the players who spend. With those type of players gone, better rewards could be offered to those that are loyal to this product.

I did both Prime Directive events with the Rare tickets and as soon as I completed them a Rare ticket event appeared with better rewards?

I'd have saved up my Uncommons and turned them into Rare tickets for the Prime Directive mission... didn't care for any of the other Rare ticket events.... if we'd known this was how they were playing it, I'd have done so....

The licensing deal they did last year included all Trek properties. So there is no additional costs for TNG series licensing, unless they had to negotiate a likeness for a specific actor that wasn't included in the general licenses they signed last year.

But "good business practice" is to try to get each tier spending "a little more". Incentives for free to play to spend lightly, lightly to spend a bit more, etc. What we get is the opposite - less reasons to spend because everything becomes a cost. So the top end 1% may be spending 5% more, but at the cost of the bottom 60% not spending (or not playing) at all.

This is how all of the events play over time, though. When they gave us a bunch of free rare directives, I knew to hoard them, because something would need it... and I was rewarded by being able to complete the "depress me" events last month.

I've gotten to the point of hoarding almost everything, which ruins the day to day game and feeling progress, but allows me to get big gains when I "need" them without spending thousands of dollars.

I don't understand all the kefuffel about the PD event. They did give it to you for free, they just made you make a couple of extra clicks. If the vent was free and there was only 10 rare tickets in the BP, nobody would complain.

Example - even the biggest whale that started today cannot unlock/tier Lorca, or get a TOS skin. Lorca is now officially 6 months "old content"... so don't say "oh, it's new stuff".

no doubt @pale cobalt - it's the toxic nature of the gameplay for sure. They are 100% treating Lorca like Harrison, allowing a haves/have nots, and then freaking out that folks have near a million transporter shards and 400 daily loyalty tokens, so they don't fix stuff.

They trained us to hoard everything for these unbalanced gameplay mechanics, and then get freaked out on how to manipulate it for their favor as we adapt. It's very anti-player, and one of the reasons folks end up quitting.

On the flip side, if they'd take a one time hit, seemingly "rewarding" players that hoarded for so long, and introduced good long term gameplay mechanics (better transporter dust store, the photon token implementation, etc), the long term effect would be a massive upswing in both player population and long-term sustainable revenue.

Very VERY few in this game ask for equal initial access, it's NOT what they are complaining about. They want an actual way to gain access that makes sense. The current "cut and run" strategy was thin a year ago when they just dumped the borg officers into the ultra recruit boxes as a "temp fix".

If Lorca is OP, then they should have nerfed him months ago and had him in the recruit box. Not have him show up exactly once in the disco box for 24 hours.

Don't introduce refits as the "long awaited thing" without any clue as to how the general population will get it.

Don't introduce an excessive OP territory ship for $300, then wait 2 months to hack through how to trickle in bps.

Don't introduce a major research ship, and take 9 months to make it where folks can unlock it by doing work

They have tons of mechanics they can use, but we've gotten wise to how they roll, and many of the long time players hoard the tokens we believe they'll use to "smooth things over", so they panic about releasing things. It's a toxic relationship that has to get sorted out, but seems to just be getting worse as they keep adding new content with no regard for long -term game health/stability.

the fact that servers that recently unlocked G4 ships are being merged states that the health of the game is in serious jeopardy. If we love the game, we need to speak up for them eating a big of chunk of crow pie and getting things right.

I did spend money -- $20 for the elite battlepass which contained some of the currency needed for away team research -- to finish the first run of Surveying the Field. Second time is so unbalanced -- deep in the tree every node costs more and more time, and I'm running out of new nodes to do and get the 100 points (ops 35). Big screwup by Scopely.

Particularly because "engaging with the new content" and doing the research means that now you can't complete the surprise event. Didn't they have this same problem back when Territory Capture added a new research tree and people did the research before the event started?

Right now the timing of server event with autocompletion and the timing for cashing in the mission keys in event store are the same. Do we know when the rescue the crew slb will start or better when it ends? Otherwise servers who don’t finish „normally“ wont be able to cash in mission keys.

I think they got a lot of positive feedback for the Scrambled Comms event. Obviously everyone has their own opinion of good vs bad, but pretty much everything I recall them releasing recently other than this has been marred in over the top attempts to time gate, pay gate or eke out every last cent of cash.

Ignoring the specifics, it would be nice to feel like they release things to wow or excite players. Away missions should have been an amazing thing, but low rewards, multiple gates to send, lots of restrictions make it feel like a cash grab, not a fun thing.

Scrambled comms was a really simple thing, but it was innovative and new, and that's why I enjoyed it

Hello, a question about 'Assignment Hunter: Server MS", one with 70 keys at the end. On our new server, 182, we are nowhere close to even completing first step, and at this rate, we won't be able to even reach 3rd, not to mention the last one. Since our server is relatively new, most of playerbase are low levels with around 10-15 players in mid 20's. How are we to complete this event? Many of us would like to dive into data's/georgi's questlines, but atm that seems far from possible.
