If you skipped any of the new research that used spore drive components you could probably have a max Disco by now from the events. I did all the research I could for ops/r&d 39 and just recently got enough spore drive components to finish the ship (but probably won't bother because why?) but I also bought 2 packs.

Three packs technically, I also got the April fools day Discovery recruit pack with the extra latinum so that was a but more spore drive components too.

Yeah, but a larger ship with a 5/10 leading lets you really grind out a handful quickly and come away with a lot. 15 minutes in system can fill a 60k cargo hold on a good sized warship that way.

if you're killing 49 transports, then you're very high level with lots of other weapon damage bonus sources. Any upgrade you'll see from lvl 24 shuttle bay are going to be comparatively small

Increases are on base numbers only. If for example you have 700% damage already and add another 100% then relative increase will be only 12.5%.
I've done the math on lower level hostiles, the bonus is not listed on your ship stats but it is in effect.

Probably because you're missing how small it really is. For my T4 augur weapons it's about 6% extra damage overall, and is about 1/3 of the pre-existing weapon damage range. If you hit 4x every round for 100 rounds you'd probably do and 500k extra damage (I don't have time to math it the obliterator right now), but between rounding off numbers and high/low variance in damage you probably aren't going to see much difference.
If you want to know if it's working you instead want to look at expected min/max damage and compare to actual min/max damage. This is what I have done and the actual damage I've checked are only possible if the bonus is working.

To put it in other terms. My bonus works out to about 6%, so let's assume that yours is the same.
In this case to do an additional 1.2m shield damage would mean that you were already causing.. 20m shield damage, which is more than they have.

That seems like terrible advice to be honest, unless you have the perfect hostile to run Leslie on or one with crazy health to run Nero on.
As a point of reference I've been hitting 35's with hostile crew and probably getting around 18m per run. Or i can run 5/Kirk/Khan on my enterprise and hit 1x 37 to get 2.5m 🤷‍♂️ I'm not going to get anywhere near enough damage from anywhere to make up that gap..
The problem is that focus on damage is pointless if you die fast and tougher hostiles kill you much faster. So you're either having to do many more runs to make up for it, or hitting lower levels to live a bit longer (and then you'd be better off running hostile crew because you'll get more kills in before you pop). Combat isn't any longer with hostiles crew, but you can get more kills and points in before needing to repair and come back

I've got no problem with scopely making money, but it can't be impossible to play the game without it when your platform is free. As that is an officer ability it’s not the worst thing that he would be on the bridge in 3rd spot for an Armada crew, think of Kirk Spock Geordi (for now until new officers come along) it’s an option

I have 5of10 at 60%, and she provides mitigation help and she isn't specific to one type of faction. With the rarity of getting shards for these officers after auctions, they are hard to upgrade. And synergy will require weak officers with low stats paired alongside. That just adds up to not worth an auction.

No you will have enough keys to get all, the battle pass keys are for the first 3 mission chains. then the “focal point” mission keys are coming in a server milestone event

So you will use the 10-20-40 keys recieved from the battle pass. Then the other 70 for the 4th mission set will be a server milestone.
The “worlds apart pack” replaces the 6-10 mission set cos all 10 are a part of the 1-5 pack.

Yeah. 7pm / 7am appears to be the refresh time for me. So long as the mission timer has completed, you will get a refresh so I speed them up just a few minutes to bring them home before the timer. I have 3 finishing tomorrow should give me 7,000 or so credits for research. A couple of really long ones too have a couple more days to go. The timer seems to be working now, I think the reset seems to trigger the visual bug

200% of not much is still not much.

If you think your 10 minutes travel time will be reduced to 2 minutes. You are mistaken. Prove me wrong

If you have no other bonuses, then 200% would reduce it to one third.

However, most people at Ops 41 will have plenty of bonuses... at least 100%. A 100% existing bonus would mean you notice speeds halving.

The bigger the existing bonuses, the lower the observable impact.

There's not that many other warp speed bonuses though that affect all ships, apex warp and then the ship specific ones in the galaxy tree, right? 200% is going to be a decent impact I think. Maybe not 10 minutes to 2 minutes, but possibly 10 minutes to 6 or something.

Warp technology in the galaxy tree too, so maybe you have a 250% bonus already, another 200% will be noticeable imo, more so than like a 200% weapon bonus at least.
