For 69 and 70s (before epic ships), you will want max Rela for the Orion cheese. Also add Tendi, Bo chapel and make sure your FT has hull buff (so QSS no optimal until you out damage them later)

Do we know if it was intended that the Maverick Faction Fight was supposed to reset at a different time than the Faction events themselves? Last week's event stopped scoring once the actual tasks reset and, not surprisingly, those completed milestones didn't count in the new week's event.

So basically any milestones completed after the Maverick tasks reset last night don't count towards this week's XALB, and didn't count towards last week's either. Bit of a feels bad there if that's what was intended

Ops 36 can have a T5 voyager which has warp range of 155. Higher level freebooter systems are warp 160 so with a maxed FC Kirk (can boost your warp range by 15%) a Voyager should reach the level 60 systems. With a punch up crew you could kill one at a time, maybe 2 depending on your research and buffs.

Also, Lysis, level 60 dominion system is only warp range 120.

That's just the base warp, for the ship. I am ops 53, the ship warp for voyager maxed is 155. Mine is currently at 622.

There is still an issue where killing outpost hostiles trigger a random reduction of required hostiles to kill.

there are none that actually require you to do the Outposts. the monthly (2nd and 4th week) SMS events + Outpost flashpass will continue as usual without needing to the outposts.

Scopely can't get anyone excited about tying up your strongest officers for four days, or spending limited resources to get around that, so they require it for an event, emphasizing that you should never do them unless there is an event, and never do the research using the Pioneer Crests because they are also needed to rank up the officers you need to get crits, so why bother to even do a mission except with your three highest stat officers (the Green Triumvirate)?

There is an issue with outposts, where they sometimes do not spawn correctly all 72 hostiles. Since it seems to not have been fixed yet, I assume the events are either cancelled or postponed until after the outpost issue is fixed.

Anyone having an issue the past few days, that when you go to hit a hostile but it says target lost and then a bunch disappear because they have moved or have already been hit? Like it floods the systems with hostiles that don’t exist and the hostiles don’t move then “target lost” comes up and most go away? I know it’s kind of hard to explain, I attempted taking screen shots of it during a wave - and no it wasn’t because of a GS I’ve had it happen while alone in a swarm system or hitting fed hostiles.

I regret going to 69 now. Lvl 68 vgers were doable every day. At 69 the orions are impossible. And the other vgers alot harder. Crew tweeks have helped but not enough. I have all research done and the only artifacts that will help me are khans glove and section 31 beacon. Everything else is maxed. I even have quantum slipstream. It seems 19.7 billion cube with nearly 500% base iso damage isnt enough. There isnt any more iso damage available apart from.war room and transogen refinery. It seems like the game wants me to have a t14 rare ship or better. That will take months to achieve from t11. I dont understand why scops have had to make it so hard.

Remove your fleet commanders and ask someone to sting you there, or if you have disco summon that can reach sting wherever an summon there

Also remove any crit chance like borg hugh etc

Is the Conquerors Dive Heroic event scoring correct - you get 3 points for every 1 Borg Armada credit you spend you get 100 per day so you can probably do 300 points, then you have 4 points for every 1 point you spend on the Dive Bar - so argument sake say 200 per level - 800 points - so you can do 1100 points per day, its on for 3 days - and to complete you need to score 30,000 points !! Taking the mick I think - somone been on the wine a little early with this one

p.s. from a lag / client responsiveness perspective, today's no better. The repair process is visually slow. you press the buttons, and it visually takes a while for the game to register that you've repaired something:

Even worse, i join the armada, but the client never shows that I am NOT in the armada circle and shows the "white triangle" saying i joined, but am not a part of the armada, so I have to unjoin and then rejoin just to make sure that your game thinks Im part of the armada before the timer runs out. all very frustrating. NOT A GOOD USER EXPERIENCE

Look om a 69 with research in mostly maxed not much in combat tree to do it was all lvl 68 and half of the 69 research done. I have all but the last few slow drip (from epic transogen) artifacts maxed quantum slipstream.

That's not entirely true. COTA was a new event within the last 12 months or so. Over the years they have tried to remove reasons to stockpile to try and spur spending, but they also came up with the largest series of events that directly rewarded planning and stockpiling within the last year. Its almost like they don't know what they're doing.

I don't know how they thought we'd treat COTA, but to pull it ~ a year later because it resulted in to much of... us planning for the event as designed... what can we really say? Sorry we strategized and planned in your strategy game?

Between the horrible lag, the elimination of the player advisory committee and the random snap decisions that cut players off at the knees, 2026 is turning out just like 2025 did: Lots of talk, lots of broken promises, a continuously broken product and a completely unsurprised player base.

That was, not by your admission, but very transparently, because you don't want players hoarding and it was an event series that rewarded hoarding over spending. The point was made to us, as the player community, that new officers are meant to be pay only. Now, you're doing a "final run" of CotA completely out of the blue and after telling us it was gone. Change the mechanic of raiding and ya might actually improve the game…

For example:

Open a base up through PvP…

Miners/surveys could then dock another players base (brings a negative to more docks, adds balance say). You now defend the miner or miners in pvp from others trying to stop you raiding or raid themselves.

Cargo would obvs need to be adjusted of mining ships but could easily work like amalgam ability.

This would surely lower the stress / lag on servers and making raiding more enjoyable as less repetitive and focus on PvP to defend or attack.

Raiding could then count as score in incursions ect.

Just my idea to actually improve gameplay, you could make your money with a ship or skin for this I’m sure…

Also requires you to be in an alliance of players not playing solo as i do. So thats my incursions fun curtailed. Think its time to open my base let it be raided and walk away.

Incursion will become who actually wants to come out an play. If peeps dont come out to pvp, Incursion will just be who can run more solos or snipe those running kling solos. We were asking for sigma to be added into raiding, not raiding being completely dissolved. Could just let the gold skins for 68 surveys take a limited % of sigma per tier of the survey per hit. That would make raiding relevant again

Raiding is there for the individual slb but won't point for Incursion meaning a bare minimum of people will actually be raiding. Raids brought the about the pvping. Did you ever see anyone in the actual pvp systems determined each Incursion? Only a minute amount of people. For those that dont like Incursion try Farmville or something. There are vast amounts of us that do like Incursions. Incursion was the only real reason to push growth

There will never be proper fights as long as 70’s can hit 40 somethings. Even narrowing player bands for incursions will always have someone trying to pump their PVP numbers taking out little ships. And when that happens the smaller players don’t get to get better fighting each other.

Pay to play will always prevail if they buy the right stuff or those who consistently get the rewards so they can get all the arena favours. People focus in different places. I did arenas at the beginning but haven’t since a lot of players got the buffs. Will do it for “participation trophies” from time to time

It’s a lot about strategy, but yes arena is made for PvP players. Most PvE folks are not having fun because they either lack research, ships or skill.

Well the Obsidian Hamster and his cohorts have ruined another event that was going down hill but instead of making actual improvements. They decided to hasten the death of infinite incursions. I used to welcome the chance to raid some new blood and mix it up with some PvP. Because of my work schedule, being able to spend a few hours late at night playing has now come to a halt because incursion will be over by the time I can get online. Over the past several months the match ups have been lopsided. Most people just shield up for the 24hrs and the rewards for events aren't worth the effort it takes to get them. Now I'm ok with narrowing the band in principle but it just limited raiding targets that were hard to find as it was. For my server, we keep getting paired up with the same couple of servers. So it's boring, there's no real incentive to even participate. It's the same boring infinite incursion events each time and the rewards suck. There's absolutely no incentives to participate anymore.
Did they really listen to the players? The changes sure doesn't reflect it.
What little incentive to participate there was, is now gone. There's several things that could have been done to improve infinite incursions, the first would have been increasing the rewards and coming up with different events that would have pushed more players towards PvP an other activities. Unfortunately the Obsidian Hamster and Cohorts couldn't be bothered to put on their thinking caps.
Personally, Pokemon Go has been far more enjoyable these days then STFC. Gives me time with my Grandkids and far easier on my wallet then STFC.

Still have the raider xslb. As far as the timing, they are going with peak activity according to thier metrics. Which means it still should be active but if not it's a one off and changes will be made. Complain after not before

I just read the new Incursion changes....WTH!!!! Granted this time it falls on a Saturday, but 12 hrs., give me a break...They say that want to make it appealing so more will join it, but when it doesn't fall on a weekend, many players will be excluded, esp. when it runs during the majority of the work day. Plus, if you have a family, weekends are usually when families do family activities, so now they have been excluded too or they have to cancel family plans.....at least with the 24 hrs, all players have a fair shake at getting in some decent play time!!!
