I never said remove something like alliance credits. You need them sure nothing wrong with that I’m saying the overall rewards if you consider what they give us are outdated for all current day content ops levels etc.
They are still from the old days before g6+ existed.

And yeah can skip the event but is that the best solution?

If people keep skipping events then they also lose motivation to play or do much ingame.
Eg. Pay only events most skip.
Other events that are terrible rewards like the amarda event the other day etc.

Don’t think it’s unreasonable to ask for old school events to be updated to reflect modern content.

Well, it's good you clarified because I think they'd assume when you say "update rewards" they'll think it's fine to replace the rewards you're saying you don't need with something else. I, and all the players who've been complaining about CoW (in its current form) being taken away, don't want that.

Asking them to add more new rewards on top of that is fine, but I doubt they'll do it. CoW rewards are not as egregiously bad as that Armada event you mentioned.

CoW isn't an event that I would miss if it went away, but it isn't a burden to complete, either. It is usually completed just by doing dailies and other routine game activities for me. The rewards have not been anything essential for the last few years for me anyway. Glad it is being brought back if others needed it.

The megacube miniarc events score with those, but it hasn't run in awhile. Generally, the obtain officer shards part is low scoring, so it doesn't matter if you hoard or not. You'll get the most pts from using officer xp on borg officers. However, hoarding for this one event is probably not worth it because you're going to lose to a better hoarder anyway, and the rewards are not significant.

The stated mechanism asked you to spend g6 materials. This allowed you to earn points for upgrading your station, research, or ships by spending g6 materials. Easy - right? But the issue is; if you’re an established lvl70 player, all of your core buildings have been maxed and most of your research has as well. So you couldn’t actually spend the g6 materials to finish the event, to get the ship - while weaker players were able to. Further exacerbating the problem is the fact that you cannot obtain Vengeance BPs in any of the regular methods. This has effectively demoted players like myself. Very disappointing.

One incursions JUST started and two less than 10% of players in the game overall favor PVP as a playstyle. The game has gone on for so long giving lack luster rewards for PvP that its seen as not worth the effort or grind to even attempt it.

The developers and strategy teams at Scopley really need to go back to basics. We are all here because we love Star Trek. IF they go back to basics and do a regroup of where the game is currently at, and listen to the player base, they will be able to salvage this game before it is too late. Lets be honest, most are only still here because there isn't a comparable Star Trek alternative out there, and if there was most would probably try that out instead. Most people spend money IF we think it is worthwhile. Right now it simply is NOT. The new ship introduction (with, lets face it, pretty uninspiring abilities) during a really bad incursion start doesn't inspire me at all, and I am sure others feel the same way. I for one will not be buying anything else until the game becomes fun again and not seeming to be a desperate attempt to introduce new content to make money as quickly as possible (and yes, I do know it is a commercial enterprise at the end of the day) . Please give us events that are tested and work instead of all the false starts and "known Issues", that reassesses the rewards for events (most are not worth doing anymore - G6 players doing COW is a complete waste of time), and goes back to Star Trek cannon for inspiration (there are decades of materials to inspire content that is being overlooked). "If you build it, they will come", unfortunately at the moment it is more a case of "you had it and are breaking it". Rant over! Disagree if you like, but as someone who has been a Star Trek fan since forever this is how I currently feel about where this game is at. Now the Rant is actually over lol 🖖

Yes there was a post, but I only saw it after I posted, because someone else linked it in the known server issues, not in the normal channels.... then sometime after that I did get the news section in game. I'm not sure if it was there before and just hiding behind the helps... usually news gets put over helps which is equally frustrating because typically their news isn't urgent announcements but just general knowledge that we already know.

So, some people were only given partial refunds on items spent for the pulled fkr reputation event, @cosmic steeple
People were doing things like spending encrypted intelligence in dti store and just going until they were out because they saw the event. Anything spent after the event got pulled isn’t being returned even if the person spent it in the next handful of minutes after event was pulled and they didn’t notice it was gone because they were just hitting max exchanges until they ran out of loot.

I went to G7 on Tuesday around 2 PM and missed out on all of the daily/weekly events since. This has impacted both my Sigma resources and mats income and my progress towards the "Ahead of the Curve - SMS" event

We have a regional SLB/ALB with absolutely dogwater prizes. Our server hasn’t ascended and we’re supposed to compete with ascended servers for 10K officer depot tokens?

My personal opinion is that Scopely's compensation to G7 players should be everything they could have gotten/completed until it's fixed, it is absolutely ridiculous that they did not check something as simple as that (this is coming from a G4 player)

I think you're supposed to look at the RALB and say hard pass. (same for my server). But the R(S)LB covering a wide range of ops levels sadly means that one is a hard pass too. When it didn't need to be. [hope we can get that changed before the 2nd and 3rd run].

Yeah, the game is punishing people for going to G7 (and likely paying money to do so), and its kind of weird that the Scopely reaction is "whatever." Aren't these the players that they really want, the spenders?

Where are the weekly events at? Since going to level 71, there was no Weapons Wednesday. Today, no Dimentional Breach. I believe Scopley needs to either supply the events or issue full rewards.

<@&509691205798592532> It's not that people don't want " to many events" it's that in my opinion we want a balance of lots of different events that don't take 3 days to finish or 20 trips to the same system. We want different events so that we get more loot and different prizes but the events shouldn't take more than one or two hulls to finish. The last arc had mostly pay to play, this one you have to buy ship and go here to get this stuff to go to another place to do more stuff it's so complicated it's really ridiculous. We don't mind grinding hostiles but don't want to have to grind 24/7 for only top 15 or 25 or 50 people to place. Scopley has taken bad advice from whoever is giving ideas and not taking advice from the people who actually play the game. These RLB and RALBs are ridiculous, if you want to get the whales to pay then make specific events for them without penalizing entire servers or alliances

This rep event really boils down to who wants to prove their time is the most valueless grinding for literal garbage rewards. Who honestly was like hey let’s add thousands of players to the pool and reward them with a sack of nothing?

Something is not working properly with the BP points. I completed mine but it did not add the points to the battle pass progression. I should be at 65k in points, not 50k after completing the one for today.
