officer abilities are limited to flashpoint hostiles and flashpoint entities only. outside of the flashpoint invasion event, they are pretty much useless.

they should honestly change the abilities to invading hostiles and invading entities since they have cancelled flashpoint invasion indefinitely after this month. some players have actually paid good money to unlock and tier them only to become useless until if and when they bring back Flashpoint

it's not. anyone in the first half of their grade cannot do most of the huraks vanguards/honorguards required for their ops level. everyone in ops40~45, 50~55 and 60~65 do not have the adequate ship and level of tech to defeat the solos. the power jump in this huraks is too high. same for the dropship hostiles. most in the first half of their ops grade are forced to drop 3 or 4 levels below to farm the house hurak tag loot for hours to get enough for single pull to get the directive.

players close to 48~50, 58~60, 68~70 have advantage over of having bigger ships and easily doing the flashpoint events. rest have very bad time

It all depends on the the months involved. IIRC, new arcs are released the first Tuesday of the month. If the prior month has 5 weeks instead of 4 or the start of the new month starts on a Tuesday extra week may been needed.

Having g6 players take sigma tasks actually help other players in their alliance get the tasks they can do. Also takes away tasks that otherwise would have to be rerolled. No g6 player actually needs them to do 150k each tournament.

I already have the stockpile to complete the next 2 tournaments without choice rewards. As has been pointed out, however, g6 players using this method remove tasks from the board for non-g6 players without forcing the reroll madness. As well, I paid cash for the battle pass - why should I not be able to use something I paid for to complete something in the game. Finally, and most importantly, event information shouldn't be arcane and hidden and told to us last second - the lack of transparency and a simple thing like a schedule should be one of the first things they maintain if they want to ensure player happiness.

This is simply a horrid business model.

Even buying the pass just gives currency to spend, so, really it should only be unlocked when you have currency to spend, so as you say what's point of offering it in overflow if those achieving overflow can't use it.

All of the events were known ahead of time, and it was possible to track your progress so you would know the same day if you were not on target to finish. There's a nifty schedule I posted in #💫-event-information near the bottom that I used to track mine.

I don't check daily. I know that scopely will provide enough pts for f2p to finish the overflow if they did every event. I also know that scoring is extremely reliable and any issues, rare as they are, tend to be widespread enough that a correction would be made without my checking at all.

If you're not as confident as I am about this, then you can either accept that you won't get all the pts you deserve or you have to check it, at least every other day.

usually when they do weird increments it's for something thematic. 98 points or 89 points (September 8th) would make sense

Probably constrained by a formula. When you see a number ending in 5 or 0, then it's an indicator that a human was fiddling with it, and it comports to their ocd level. If you see something increase by 8% a month, then there's probably an underlying formula being used. In this case, it could be something as simple as 50% of players are achieving an avg 92pts per day.

I feel like it was an overcompensation of what was added to the game in terms of damage compared to older parts of the game. Over the last couple years, ships are able to more than triple damage output than they used to.

The last 2 major arcs have given a big boost to hostiles after all these boosts to ourselves. A big disadvantage to players who are early on in the game, which based on player count, is the majority of players.

makes these scalable based on ops, at least 200% resistance for 61~65 and we can at least come to some sort of agreement. but the hazards alone make most of your argument void for the amount of grind required

End of arc event stores will have officers from the arc(excluding the current running month) + the last month of the previous arc. Specialty ships tend to be the ones around where your shipyard can build, except for new ships. There is some variability there, often some are available a level early, and Stella is a level late, but close enough to your sy level.

That said, there might be some transitioning toward a different system. Some recent CM comments regarding the ferengi event stores suggest that we can't put too much expectation into the old end of arc event store system. Things might change, for better or worse. I'd just wait to see what the next iteration looks like, if there is one, before planning anything major.

Curious if the FKR directives bundles were also crap for you. The ones in my shop are short of a single armada worth and bundle in 100x uncommon directives for some reason. And the temporal disruptor amount was too low to do a task, same as the galactic recruit bundling in premium/ultra tokens for some reason.
