People can be unshielded not because they dont care but because they have real life issues going on. Happened to one of ours this time. Nothing he could do about it. Not fair to shame people for something that is out of their control.
Not saying there arent lazy people, we have those too (and by we i mean my alliance).

Data is just facts, alliances can still note when real life issues caused the lapse. People already know the main culprits each month, having data gets rid of the supposition and unbacked finger pointing. 99% of us would completely understand real life issues, heck we all got em, it’s just a game.

If someone is a repeat offender, most alliances leaderships would like to know that. Outside of real life emergencies, it’s the simplest thing on earth to pop a one day shield when leaving the game during incursions. Would be useful for alliances to know if their teammates are habitually losing the event. It’s a team event, if you aren’t playing it, at least shield up.

Fortunately the ones that dont care enough to shield have almost no resources. Everyone else has reasonably good shield discipline.

I just got my final pull from the event store bonus thing this morning, but didn't get time to spend it until now cause I'm working. I had assumed the store would stay open the rest of today so I could spend what I just received. 🤦

I eventually watched that and I love how they say it's for the players and engagement. Sounds to me they keep finding new items to introduce in the game to force spending. New resource ? Sure ... its $100 for a fraction of what you need or 6 months to get it. New hostiles you can't kill ? Here's a $100 unlock + $1000 upgrade packs or complete it in 6 months' time. Not to mention they can't do a proper arc without crashing the game, they are attempting to change the mechanics.

It was entertaining how they were talking about how most of the servers have come up with their own ROE rules in spite of the push to PvP. Cooperation in this game does not bring money to the company, so that felt like a lot of bs.

Most other transogenic systems spawn hostiles according to their level. The 44 system (Alpha Nerra) spawns 42s, so they're not "lost". But it is weird.

I think the reason why higher ops tend to struggle with these events more than lower ops is the missions are designed for you to have your new building at or near your ops level, which on day 1 is impossible for the folks at lvl 60 for example.

Typical of Scopely, releasing an event with hostiles that are almost impossible to destroy and materials that you have to mine, which are practically impossible to mine, until the next event comes out with a new ship for those hostiles and that material, but you also won't be able to do said event unless you pay for the ship and upgrade it to the level that Scopely wants you to upgrade it. It's all based on the same thing, Money, money, money.

1. Do the new mission
2. Claim the code on the webstore (SNWPT1)
3. Do the battle pass event and claim the first 2 milestones.

After these you should have the building at level 7 (f2p battle pass) or level 10 (paid track)

After that just send your miners out to a node of each rarity and wait for them to die to hazards. Repair and repeat. 👍

Did Scopely intend for the mining SMS to be completable at all by OPS 51 players? It seems like the best mining ships we have access to can only get 150k points per hour each. That'd mean mining for about 265 ship-hours. Even with two of each faction mining ship built and maxed (who even does this?) and all 6 docks in dedicated operation, that's 44 hours out of the 48 the event lasts, and this is not mining that is possible to do while sleeping, the ships must be manually repaired and directed approximately every 40 minutes for multiple minutes.

More endless grinding that barely scratches the surface of event requirements, impossible mining expectations, and a refinery that is kind of underwhelming. As I only have a few hours to play each day, I would much rather participate in the Boldly Go (which is fun for the most part - and only 2nd time you've done it since it was introduced months ago), and my own tasks for growth and enjoyment. They are challenges, designed to be tough to complete unless you are either extremely dedicated to grinding or are willing to spend money to get them complete. Nowhere does it say the player MUST do them. It just means you get less points and so in the eyes of certain types of players you 'are not as good as other players', especially if you aim to have the biggest e-peen.

an update about the completability of the mining event: it appears the key is the token spaces, since those do not have hazards (and also mine more quickly); unfortunately it's not clear which systems have pursuers without first wasting a token to go inside, so completing this event comes down to other players spending their entry token and giving you information so you know where to spend yours.

So if it was correct and you actually get 89 points that's 130 hostiles. Which is a lot in itself for 1 event. But at 55 points which is what you actually get that's 210 hostiles to complete the event. Add this to all the other hostiles/armadas/waves/mining and God knows what else we have to do for this engage event the play time needed is getting silly. Scopley thinks we don't have anything else to do in our lives other than spend 24/7 here.

I literally just crossed the halfway mark as a 66 with a L10 building (from paid BP). I feel like it won't be bad the next time it runs (unless they up the milestones), but I am running two Selkies nearly non-stop when I can pay attention.

I didn’t say yours was super easy I said the milestones were easily achievable as I’ve done mine and players have done the 300 mil ones within 24 hrs

As for relevance, without the bp, my forge is even lower

One free token. One. Also only takes one player to mess that up, most servers have at least one. Players are getting the forge upgraded fast (better mining rates) using the pay store, becuase you can buy your way to an upgraded forge, that's how people are doing it. Most players can't without making purchases.

And as far as the one token, players that don't care and like bothering people will send a warship to the token area (no hazards) and leave it there, taking out every ship that goes. Since players start with only one token, they will find out when their ship goes boom, and won't have any other tokens to retaliate with. And no, I didn't use my token, I just can think of basic things.

Absolutely pathetic, stupid high milestones for events which you can't do due to bugs such as stating your on a mine when you're not.
Instead of bringing out new features how about fixing the bugs, as soon as the bugs were spotted the minimum which should have been done is the tl.e to complete events extended.
Great way to drive players to other games.

Hello. Is the Transogen Canister Exchange locked to your specific G Ops level only ? While mining the resources, hitting the hunters which happen to be 30s level so have collected fair amount but no area to use them as I am Ops 42 with only the *4 exchange option……advise.

You can only refine the 4*, think that starts at ops 40.

I am really disliking (will not use HATE) the changes to the Away Team Missions for the arc events. Not being able to apply experience to level officers Away Mission skills SUCKS... It is difficult when you do not have the resources unfortunately and makes it near impossible to complete the arc events 😦

Just an idea, a way to encourage folks to OPS up would be to have MORE events that focus on BUILDING and RESEARCH. There is nothing of such in the calendar. Ops37 here...

I don’t understand day 3 solo armadas. The description says defeat solo armadas! I destroyed a Dom U/C and Borg U/C solo armadas BUT GOT NO POINTS!! What solos count????? The description makes it appear that ANY solo armada should count. This needs to be clarified!
