61+ has to reach 10k points to finish this event, clearing a regular solo wave would get you 750 points, clearing an elite solo wave nets you 1500 points. that's 14 regular solo waves or 7 elite solo waves to complete. nobody who is F2P has GS-31 yet, so that bonus scoring doesn't help for them. the score to complete does not meet a doable lvl for most players, whether at G3 or G6. acceptable changes would be lowering the point requirement or giving out enough starts so people could complete these reasonably

What I don't understand is why scooply is making the game frustrating with these silly event milestones, instead of trying to make it more enjoyable. 20 complete solo waves needed to finish the SMS, even if I bought the ship it would still be 10 complete solo waves needed - I don’t have the option to run anything more than a 3 wave solo (Scopely ops lock)

The Khan Champion solo wave event is 100% ptw for lvl 40s. It is impossible to complete without the GS31. Elites only pay 600 points (300 for normal solos). With a 6000 point requirement for the top ms, you need to kill 10 elites without the GS31. Most players lvl 49 and below cannot complete the elite solos. (YouTube only has 2 level 46 players completing an elite solos so far). So most will need to kill the regular waves which requires 20 starts. With the GS-31 they will still need 10 starts. There is not enough directives available to complete this task ftp.

For khans champion solo wave defense SMS, I need 10k points. Solo elites pay out 1500 max. I need 7 starts. Refresh is 3 days. I would have had to have 4 saved up and refresh ready today to get 2 more pulls. This is not an sms, this is a heroic at best. Either that or we need 600 solo tokens for players who just did a solo pull right before reset unless are counting wave defense pass too.

If you get the prime from the event store that adds 2 health to the hub you can do the 50 solo elite with 2 maxed g5 epics, t4 g6 unc and lorca’s fist or max fortify. You just need to kill 2 of the 55 reavers in the last wave and you can group up on them

Elite solo 50 full clears are doable at ops 60 without buffs. It's not easy, but it's definitely not impossible.

Wait until reset. But some tasks have multiple copies in the task list, so (depending on the task) it could be possible that other members get the same one. At least the odds are lower.

You can only complete 3 tasks per day. If you picked one you cannot complete you have to skip it (it counts as an attempt)-- if that happens to be the third task you have to wait till the task reset tomorrow.

Quest 10 is utterly ridiculous, if you don't have speed ups for away teams, which unlike other speed ups you can't use latinum on either, you miss out on completing an event. Since this new away teams addition, they have pushed everyone to extreme in battle pass scoring for it as well.

yep. build and maintain a stockpile of ATA speedups, just like most speedups in the game. Always keep a 12 or 24 hour ATA running to collect the daily speedups, and the new regular plus sigma speedups just add to the pile. The new research to boost ship xp to 2.7M/ATA and officer xp to 500k/ATA is great and makes sure I look at the options closely each day now

Personally, I always run lots of ATAs, and keep a handful in “Ready” to redeem when events like this pop up. But I also sometimes redeem a bunch to grab faction credits or other rewards if I need them.

Today I got lucky - I had a crit epic, and a handful of unc ready to go.

But I also have ZERO speed ups at the moment, as I’ve been pushing the Priority ATAs hard for events and for chest payouts. If I hadn’t been lucky, I would have been completely screwed.

This event scoring was a major escalation after nine days of reasonable event difficulty. The fact that <@&509690795536941056> STILL hasn’t responded to the other player’s inquiry (whether the META is achievable without this event) is ridiculous and amateurish — and reflects the continuing disrespect the STFC team has for its players.

I think I might have been a little too concerned a little too soon. This morning a handful of away team missions completed, that plus the ones yesterday resulted in the event completing. I didn't have to buy speed ups or anything, and did one of the priority ones, but the event was done before I finished collecting them all. So, it's doable, just keep a bunch in the oven which is really what you're intended to do I'm guessing.

Like I said before, this is significantly worse than the solo wave event last month, and they gave out ciphers for that, so why not this time?

2 events per day, i missed one event a couple of days ago because of my own issue. i'm at 2300 points and there are still 2 days left. so the theory is 4 more events at 100 points a piece. that would put me at 2700/2600. that's the theory.

How about we keep this same energy with Khan's Champion Events, the amount of solo waves y'all want us to do is difficult (see: impossible) to complete also unless you pay for private ciphers.
