for 1 ship you can choose at any time (I believe) whether it has anti static or charged. So to get full victory you probably want 2 as a team, 1 to negate the 2 nodes with abilities.

Is there a problem with mission scoring? I finished the Captain Proton mission yesterday and completed a kermin formation armada, neutral charge, just now and neither counted for the mission completed event.

All three legs of the armada must be defeated and chests collected. But I bet we see a comp completing that mission for people shortly. While you can defeat a low level formada without the new ship by overpowering them, it requires ships bigger than many alliances have access to, especially on newer servers. Mission wasn’t well thought out there.

The Charged node is easily doable without needing the new ship, as is the Neutral. It’s the Static one that is very, very difficult without someone having the new ship. It’s doing 2B+ iso damage per shot by the 3rd round. Nothing surviving that!

Hey guys just wanted to inform anyone who is planning to buy the new temporal artifacts, they do not show up in the temporal restoration store after you unlock them, instead you have to keep buying packs to upgrade it which is very deceiving from scooplay.

You shouldn't need that much power. I'm low-G5, so don't have any experience doing them with G4-only research/ships, but we're seeing them need about 300-400m power with unbuffed ships.

I'm guessing you'd need slightly more power because research gap, but then slightly less power because you have max fort and such active and things even out.

Mats/lat/rss should be roughly equal between the two. One is officer shards, and the other is ship parts. The rest of the pack is built off of one that's offered to you, and given a standard % multiplier. The pack they choose will change, and can be generically "even" like station packs or weighted toward two mats like in ship packs.

They don't tell us anything. Like I posted the video and screenshots of the formation and all I had to do was redeem the rewards chest to complete the One Night In Hèll Mission. It doesn't say that in the missionnchapter. It just says defeat 1 Kerllrenim Formation and must defeat all 3 to move to the next chapter. Not defeat and redeem rewards chest.
So scopley dropped the ball on that.
And yes they do work. Have you tried? It's an exo boost for static and charged Krenim. Doesn't specify otherwise it's strictly for the solo or groups in the zigzag zones.

The exos do not work on the formation armadas. Neutral leg can and will be survived by most , the static and charged legs need big big big late 50s early 60s to over power it. Without the bigger players u need the new ship - 43s are pretty easy eith one 59 or 60 in each leg 🤷🏻‍♀️

PvP drives high negative emotion spikes and thus increased screen time/spend. It’s why the PvP primes are the last to have a F2P path.

High negative emotion being more profitable is counter intuitive, but well understood in the game/social media monetisation strategies.

To everyone complaining in the feedback channel about <40 ops getting less event currency, they’ve been dropping hints for months by ops locking you out of content. Take the hint and get to 42. Obviously this is not aimed at newer players who are progressing as fast as they can. Be warned: next they’re going to stop giving you officer SLBs to win every month to further incentivize you to progress. Never fight a game’s dev team. You won’t win.

There are certain things I want to get before levelling up and not being able to get them from event stores means it will take longer for me to be ready for G4. Surely if the 40s is where Scopely wants players to be , it should be helping us get there not cutting off the resources we need to progress

Most is a strong word here. There's still 6 or 7 if you include Franklin at Ops 33, and there's still a few more before you hit Ops 40. There's also just not great sourcing for a lot of the specialty ships outside of the event store. Discovery and Vidar are both 10 a week for example but you can only get 1 or the other so that's minimum 20 weeks already if you don't spend on them

It takes it takes over 7 months to get the Franklin, Discovery and ViDar from Cosmic Cleanup. It’ll take at least 4 months to get the credits for the Enterprise assuming you have to update some officers like Chen. Are you saying people go into ops40+ without any of this in place?

Yep, I chose my words badly. Resources in general not ore/gas/crystal which I'm currently not short of. I'm a bit of a plodder, mostly ftp (I've got the second build and research queues) and I'm enjoying playing at my own pace. I'm not complaining about a lack of new content for players below ops 40 because what there is is still new for me. What I would like is to be able to buy, for example, a specialty ship this event store. As things stand I won't be able to. Something that will make the game fun, something to keep me playing

Most/all the officers you'll need for a majority of the game you'll.be able to get as/before you need them. It's only the really niche crews that are a pain to get and those are a pain to get for everyone that's not whaling the special officer packs.

There's can and should. Can you rush 40 in a couple months? Yes. Should you? Specialty ships, FKR ships, now officers after the December event changes, those are still gated behind pretty slow processes unless you spend. So you'd be 40 but unable to complete any content because you still depend on a Kumari or one of the 26/28 uncommon ships.

You'd end up in exactly the same place but instead of events not being available at all they'd be there and you can't finish them.

I feel like this should be marked Heroic because the only way to get to 400 is the one start per day over two days using the Relativity, which, of course, you have have bought.

Thank you for the confirmation that it is being looked in to, as a 40 ops I have 86k currency (will be lucky to unlock a single ship by the end of this ark), the events that provide the higher levels of currency are gated at 42+.

I understand the lower ops levels are having even harder times that 40-41 but we cannot progress at any reasonable rate if we wait for over 3 months for a new ship via the weekly events.

I'll confess to being lazy and splitting it by over and under 40 when the real problem is the Krenim events that have no low ops replacements, probably just me being bitter over the whole Gorn event fiasco. And the lack of currency is probably harder to handle at 40 and 41, because there is very little for me to pick up even with the new stuff while all the new stuff is super important for your ops range specifically. @cosmic steeple you fought for new additions to the store that benefit ops 40 and 41 the most, it would be a shame if none of them could actually appreciate your effort because no one below ops 42 is receiving a usable amount of currency.

How does giving more currency to everyone solve the problem of 42+ getting 3x what below 35 gets? Okay so now I can actually buy one or two things instead of none, but 42+ will now get 4 or 5 items instead of 3. Still not fair. Still insulting to low level players. If Scopely wants players below 42 to level faster then give them more of those things, don't take sourcing away. Or lower the costs. Why does an Augur BP cost 5x what a Borg Cube BP costs? May have made sense when those things were first introduced but makes less sense now.
