The eye-patch event store for low levels is really awkward. It basically turned the Fatu Krey SLB into winner takes all (5,500 faction store credits at Ops31 ca be big). The runner up probably keeps their patches and hoping we get another chance to earn and spend them? The awkward winner takes all structure wasn't helped by serious lag issues, which spoilt what would have been an epic head-to-head contest.

No, the qualifier store had a selection of rewards from different tiers. It was meant to showcase what was available. The non-qualfier AG stores will have rewards appropriate for your tier. Want access to everything? push to master tier.

From what I understand of the credits in the regular AG events, they cannot be hoarded between runs. Treat them like end of arc event store currency.

Each purchase has its own cooldown, and there is a 5 limit. The cooldown will drop on the 4 you purchased last week, but not the one you purchased today. And that's only if they allow people to buy more than 5, that's not intended.

We are less likely than you to know if it's a lot, but I know of some people. I've done it in the past and often still do it unless I need the contents right now like SynXP Events. I still do it for Wave BP since I often can't pull more tickets for Waves if I turn in all the tickets from the pass so there is no need to buy it at the start most of the time. I know of at least 2 ppl who currently haven't bought the regular BP yet, but intend to. I can also imagine a lot of people who play less will not buy a BP until they are sure they can finish it.

<@&509690795536941056> I submitted a ticket yesterday (#26739565) regarding the Chimera events - I used the blue particles to start a Chimera, it started, ship was in the circle, but the timer went down and nothing happened but my directives were used. I got a response acknowledging that this issue has been reporting by many but the blue particles would not be refunded followed by a really condescending note "hoping for your kind understanding" and the ticket was closed. This feels like really inconsiderate to players, but it's particularly inexplicable because there is a very easy resolution and that is to refund the blue particles. This is probably the 5th time in the last few weeks tickets have been closed with resolution and it's becoming apparent that Scopely doesn't care about refunding game currencies that are used unfairly/incorrectly among other things. I have a screenshot of the response but I can't upload it here, but happy to share it elsewhere if that's helpful.

The key to killing Chimera is having a crew that causes maximum damage......as opposed to mitigating incoming damage. I killed one lvl 42 by myself....and then double-teamed a lvl 46 with another alliance member when I fell short by 6 million hull pts from killing it (probably should have had Beckett Mariner below deck). I'm lvl 48 and hunted lvl 54 Fatu-Krey to complete the daily events.

Totally agree. If they would simply change the minimum amount of blue particles to 100 per exchange for Fatu-Krey scraps (with a chance to get 200 or possibly more)....that would be a big improvement. Or....they could simply allow us to exchange for 2 or more chests at a time. Either would help with this issue. I don't think that being able to initiate a minimum of 4 Chimera attacks per invasion is asking too much (more would probably be pushing it). I currently have 30 particles....and if I only get 50 during my next exchange, then I will have only been able to initiate 2 Chimera attacks during this invasion.

It's not "broken" the mechanics were changed. You score once, based on your best round, to score more points you need to do more damage. It only counts hull damage (overkill does score more) and iso damage doesn't count

The battlepass gave tournament credits, the store open is for the qualifier. When the regular tournament store is open, you'll be able to use the credits, not before then. The qualifier store is still open because people still haven't received their qualifier rewards, it will be closing on sunday and extended/reopened once the rewards are finally sent out.

Scopely didn’t make the galactic recruit tokens to not use them as event rewards. You can relax, they aren’t going anywhere. But… there’s no reason why the events couldn’t pay out mats/res AND galactic recruit tokens. Or at least more recruit tokens.

Once you get to the point that you need 300+ shards to tier up an officer, getting 5 shards from 10 officers in the pool doesn’t even qualify as a drip.

G3 miners require crystal, that’s why crystal was such an issue. When you pass ops 40, buildings require ton of 4* gas, thus gas becomes an issue.

Plus Voyager, Cheeto, and Titan all require gas for upgrades.

As far as I can tell, the alliance tournament store we see is still set to show stuff for the qualifier round AT credits store , and the qualifier AT credits are a separate token from the real AT credits. (You can see them both in your inventory)
The real alliance store hasn't opened yet because it was delayed.
The credits we got in the TC battle pass was for the real alliance tournament store (again, which isn't active yet) which should have been live by now if it wasn't for the delays.

The really stupid thing with the lag, is that they've actively contributed to making it more laggy by giving us a million & one different "currencies" in our inventory. If they tidied that up, the lag issues would improve

They've said it's not the inventory (that's just a static table) but the number of unique hostiles in all the systems that the server has to generate movements for and stream to the clients. That's why systems reset fairly quickly once people leave it; they don't want to waste the server resources to keep moving the hostiles around.

It's a fundamental design issue.

So every time they add new systems, new hostiles, new grinds, it just makes for more work for the servers and more network traffic to the clients.

you will always get g3 from BP even when you go g6, but what i can definetly tell you will never ever get from BP is rare ship parts because scopley is utterly cheap.

That's not really surprising. The milestones are not achievable with an hour of Fatu-Krey hunting a day and the few Chimera you can launch. You do it once and don't shoot anything else for three days. A second time too. But now ... parallel to so many other events (CoW, MS, FH, ... and everything else that is supposed to start today) ... Well, it's a pity but it can't be changed.

@cosmic steeple Started a Chimera, then it says it got canceled. It generated no Battle Report, gave no Rewards but my Directives were taken. Reported this to the support and all i got was a middle finger again, not even giving me a chance to respond

When inflation began hitting manufacturers, they decided to choose between raising prices of their products or removing a few ounces, count or weight from the package. The theory goes that at least the budget is not impacted but it is when the money spent doesn’t buy as much.

Here we have an example of shrinkflation to where costs are not increasing for Scopely in the production of the packs in the store. In fact, the opposite is true. No additional R&D is needed, maybe a little math, but overall the “cost to produce” is the same.

But here we have LESS in our $100 and $50 packs and yet again, it will be another pack i will no longer buy.

When advancement comes to the point of stalling because i am not going to buy any packs for their devalued content, will be the day I finally say its enough.
