Positives

I like the slotting of alliances by scores with the potential to move up or down
I like being able to reroll tasks
The store is pretty good. Definitely keep, especially as a way to get primes

Negatives

Very little ways for lower level players to assist alliances
Almost no rewards for tasks that lower level players can complete
Too many tasks require spending
Tasks encourage hoarding things like armada directives which hurts gameplay when tournaments aren’t happening.
The “grinding tasks” are too easy. Harder grinding tasks with higher points are needed

Absolutely horrible
While sorting alliances into like sized groups is good, rewarding the “higher” alliances with more stuff just because they have more members is wrong. A small alliance shouldn’t be penalized because it’s small-some of us don’t want to be in 100 member alliances. We like competing and doing the tasks but no matter what we will never match up due to sheer size.

Suggestions

Major “Total alliance” tasks should be added. Something like “as an alliance, mine 1 million 3* gas” or “as an alliance, destroy 1000 hostiles”. You can have different levels (1000, 2000, 3,000 hostiles) but unlike an sms, the alliance has to choose what level to aim for before they start the task.
Make it so alliance members only get the overall alliance rewards if they complete a minimum of 1 tasks per tournament to encourage participation (only possible though if lower levels have tasks they can complete).

The daily events including reputation events along with mainstays like mining Monday and cerritos Wednesday reset ar 1pm.

Awesome, thanks for confirming. Soo many issues yesterday, I didn't know if this one was brought up.

Overall though, I'm excited for this new mechanic to work. I like it a lot. The only thing I would change is reducing the amount of weight spending can influence ranking. Aka, make all the tasks completable without spending, but spending would allow you to do them "easier".

Like the Ultra Recruit one. If you have them saved up (not like a years worth of saving, more like a 2-4 weeks) then you can complete it, but if not then spending will help.

But most, if not all, the 10k pt tasks are spend only or "Heroic" style tasks and that's just dumb IMO...

WE FIGURED OUT THE PROBLEM <@&509690795536941056> . If someone in the alliance claims and is working on a event, it doesn't vanish when someone claims it. But if someone else wipes it off the map before it completes, the person that has claimed it is screwed. This just happened to one of our 60+ guys using sigma. Someone unable to use the sigma stuff used a reroll while he was working on it and his claim vanished.

If there is a lock, I think it is taking a long time to propagate out to the rest of the alliance. Most things with this Alliance tourney are so laggy. When I re-roll it takes sometimes up to a minute to show the new task

So I checked my Bajoran store to make sure I could claim my Epic dominion directives so I could do the 10k task and they were all 3 available the rare, epic and elite which I knew cause yesterday all were at 12 hours so I went back to tournament and claimed the Ex Borg task and when I went back to the bajoran store right after all 3 reset 2 were 3 days and one was 24 hours is this a known issue cause that’s messed up?

The original issue is I started a task, it took my task token to 2/3 (I had completed one before this) but the task disappeared for me to complete. Therefore, using one of my three tokens but not letting me complete task for the alliance points.

If you abandon a task that attempt is gone and new task would be another.
Ie. You accept a task, 1/3 can't do it so select another, 1/3 gets abandoned, new task appears started you on 2/3. Yes take a time fir it to appear, but if you then proceed abd start a 3rd b4 completing and collecting task you started you now on 3/3.tgen if you again click on start another, you just abandoned your 3rd abd have no tasks.

As with anything scopely designs it lags.

Have some patience abd check you can do a task b4 you even click the start button.

The alliance tournament Qualifier running now has an event store that will decay a few days after the event is over. Do not save the Qualifier credits from the picture below. Future runs of the Alliance Tournaments will have a different currency to use.

the qualifying credits can only be spent in the qualifying store, and you should spend them before the store disappears. after the qualifying round, your subsequent rewards will persist and can be hoarded as needed.

this new events are unnecessarily trying to be outsmart the players and confusing them.
just put the damm instruction in the event tab itself instead of beating around the bush.
Its no puzzle games or even any serious strategy game where you need to pull out your hair to solv games. its just $TFC guys 😂

You know what, Rev may have been negative about how this whole tournament went down, but he isn't wrong. When the entire community is unhappy about how this whole thing was handled and has been for 4 days, this isn't an issue with a content creator stirring up trouble. This is a fail by design.

We have escalated the issues with the League Placements

• Bugged Popup Screen, showing incorrect placement (should fix after a restart)
• Rewards not handed out
• Qualifier Shop Closed before people got chance to spend Credits

Please be patient and await official Scopely communication, just know that we have pushed the info forward already.

But sadly only spending a lot will get the higher scores.
I'm not a FTP, but I will not be forced in buying packs like this.

The task for the Alliance tournament need to be redone. We need more to do other then buy packs. That’s dumb. We need task that are engaging as well. Put in task for dealing ISO damage to hostiles. Put in task for mining in the MU. Put in task for rep gains. Put in task for PvP. Give us things to do that doesn’t requiring spending. This entire mechanic for this seems to be built on tracking alliance spending and not about making us compete in game. Do better Scopley.

Your Credits have not disapeared, they are Qualifier Credits.
However, because your alliance has moved out of the Qualifier bracket, the Qualifier store closed - this is a problem and has been raised to Scopely.

If you check your inventory at the bottom you will see your Qualifier Credits
Some players have also not received their full rewards for placements, was also raised (could be lag, some have got it)

Those rewards take a different currency anyhow. The Qualifier portion is limited to specific rewards anyway and wont change even when it opens back up.
