Yes, but normally if they are saying it's a f2p ship.. Missions and whatnot's give you the bps so you could have a chance to participate in events.

As it stands, there is no chance of doing so unless you purchase the ship

The email address is basically snail mail. The fastest replies will come from using the chat bot.

The chat bot has more of a tendency to 1shot answer you and then close the ticket. The email ticket has usually been more stable getting results, though might take a bit longer. Best guess is the bot gets much more usage, and that's why they try to 1shot you and close the ticket quickly without even waiting for your response.

The fix for the sms has already rolled out, i you progressed passed the point for it to help you, you'll need to open a ticket. The mission itself won't be completed until you actualy build it, but with the fix you didn't need to build it to finish the sms.

Back when the TOS Arc launched there was a mission in the SMS that had a warp range requirement of 255 which at that time only a very small number of players could reach making it impossible for the vast majority. But I don't recall an SMS being blocked by a single pay wall of a ship.

I know there will be the weekly for the Gorn Eviscerator which I'm guessing similar to the Cerritos. But I was suggesting in launch months an SMS similar to the SMS that accompanies the SLB's for officers. Regarding the Gorn Eviserator, supposedly the weekly path will take about 3 months (I'm guessing 10 weeks) to get it f2p, but I don't think you've had an official statement yet...I'm also not sure the weekly will start till after this month, which would mean the f2p is 4 months after release, if I'm tracking, but if it is weekly on say Fridays, it could be starting this week...🤷🏻‍♂️

I'm probably misunderstanding, but it seems like you're thinking that you should have the ship BPs, even though you haven't bought it? The majority of us are stuck at "build the ship" except those who bought it. The chest won't be giving you any BPs, only the store does that.

Ahh, completely fair. They mis-scored the event initially. When it was pointed out that the mission event would require spending, they changed it to complete at step 3 so you wouldn't have to spend. But some folks had already gone past that point.

At this point there's been so much of both "the fix is auto" plus "it isn't auto, send ticket", I don't know the correct path. Might be on to something with your ticket, but I thought they sent the fix out today. Comp chest overlooked in your gifts?

Yes you can. Daily reset has happened already. Try again. This happens at about 5am uk time. Not sure US time. It’s the time where all your daily goals reset, hostile kills, mining, faction etc

If you mean the Gorn ship, it’s not a Borg ship and it’s likely not coming this month. It’s possible the event is gonna be run like the Cerritos event with a drip of 10 bps a week. That came 2 months after Cerritos launch. So expect a Gorn event by July, it’s not a required ship anyway

The big issue though is based on patch notes players expected an event on day 1, and scopely refuses to release any information when it’s coming f2p most likely as it will hurt their pockets.

The hirogen event is seriously ridiculous for low 30s and it doesn't matter what ship and crew you are using. Elites start at 35 and score 800 of 50000 for a 32. To go higher you have to hit non elites in lost systems with 1-4 hirogens.

60 35 elites with a voyager is bad enough but not something most 30-33s can do without one

Thanks for getting that looked at. I've tried a lot of crews that many players won't have and it's not practical to use the elite systems and it is extremely tedious to scroll around constantly in the lost systems to find the hirogens to hit in sufficient numbers to do the sms. I don't fail to complete sms events ever and I have skipped all of these because the time input isn't tolerable because of the hunting for targets. If it were simply a matter of grinding out 60 or 80 or 100 ships in a system filled with them it would be doable, not fun but doable.

Before moving up in levels that increase a loop's difficulty, you can use a token to try out the system and see what you need to do to handle the new content. 55s can be hard, and you might need double buffs to make it reasonable.

it's a moot issue with advice of others in other channel, did testing today as ops 54 and the silent enemy 55s were doable, admittedly will likely have to pivot to single chest pull per day instead, which I dont mind

Anyone got to test SNW James Kirk? The announcement claims : “With perfect synergy, this allows your ship to fully bypass hostile shields!” is that true? Does it means damage goes directly to Hull like the isolytic? Because based on officer description it says only mitigation is canceled…

Shield mitigation. So cuts through shields at full synergy. Normally shields grabs 80% damage and let’s 20% go to hull. With full shield mitigation bypassed it’ll all go to hull. Iso bypasses mitigation but still goes to shields, btw
