I think repurposing an "empty" server would make them actually pay more for that other server due to the increased strain that 2X the amount of players are now using on a previously lightly used server, and instead they likely just deal with the increased load on both existing servers (and our whining), without paying anything more to their cloud server providers. 🙂

I’m not happy about everything, but the people that complain about CoW generally do complain about not having any directives for armada events, usually because they spent them on quick fixes of gas/ore/crystal rather than directives which would net them more overall 👀

Would I like CoW every day? No, definitely not. But accepting that four out of twelve arcs have to have two week breaks, it’s one of the better ones to repeat.

My problem with the current events has been the Military Supremacy. Trying to kill L26 hostiles at ops 18-19 (just made 20, but it hasn't changed since the last run when I started at about 18) is near impossible, nevermind 500 of them to get all of the milestones (2 points per L26 target). I get it's really to encourage building and tiering up the NS and Franklin, but that takes bps and parts, which isn't always possible. And the rewards suck, relatively.

If you still need some of the officers, then doing a mid-pull on officers each day and then a single armada pull on the third day is decent

Otherwise you can let the currency roll over to the following month(s) and play the timers to get a pull on day 1, and then on day3/4 once the pull timer refreshes

correct... last megaqube was in between december and january battle pass events... the talios came in january... borg solo armadas were a thing already I think.... expansion qubes not... with all the new borg stuff (talios, expansion qubes and the new officers) and the fact that they are running a seperate event to aquire the infinitus skin for the old Vi'dar, I expected a revamp for this event... instead they seemed to prioritize the apex revamp - sadly... I hope megaqube returns soon... as far as I know it's event store is the only way to source 4of11 and 11of11 (and quite frankly, with the talios now, noone gives a damn about infinitus anymore)

You can get 4 and 11 of 11 in rare and epic solo Borg armada chests .. but it's so very restricted if you don't have the prime (for better charged nanoprobe exchange) so yeah it's not Great. I really hope the mega cube returns toon too! I must say it's much easier to get my epic uranium pulls since the weekly apex event but a weekly SLb is also horribly soul crushing 😂

the problem with that is... the officers were initially (when released) available to every player ops 25+ (if not to lower ops - I can't remember what ops I was at the time but I had all the events)... also the megaqube event and it's event store were available to pretty much everybody... them officers now being available only via the mentioned rare/epic borg solo armada chests means they are restricted to ops 40+ players. And that is just a bad joke, to put it mildly.

From what Rev and DJz said, this was planned for. It was an exact copy of last incursions with, what appears to be, corrected scoring mechanisms. That was what Scopely was testing - the scoring. Hopefully if they have this worked out, they can update and refresh events before the next run for all the servers

the extra systems were never really about the armadas, it was more about the exchange surveys availability. and to complete your sms, if you don't have a decent or avialable alliance, can still solo the lower level armadas to complete it. but if your jsut complaining about the terror skinslb, develop some patience.

From what I’ve seen, the apex event store is always there. It hasn’t gone away since they made the event weekly. The cooldowns have gone down as well, before the apex medal was a 1 week cooldown, now it’s 3 days. I expect the cooldowns will do away entirely at some point

What I will throw into the mix, very much at the risk of the community hating me for it, is we ask for “less boring” between arcs, and we ask for “more stuff”; this “lazy, copy and paste” event achieves both of those things - and while in an ideal world it would have new things and be updated for new content, that takes effort away from “new arc” which we’re all super excited about 🙂

But you get the picture. It’s “free” (I know) stuff and modest effort when you do your sums right 🙂

The idea is you hit 40x hostiles. Because the event was old it was scaled around a max hostile level of 33. The scoring was updated so as not to make it super easy without changing the targets which is something we’ve previously been told isn’t possible.

This way you can do it by doing your Borg grind, not specifically going and doing (now) low level probes

There is a tradeoff in income. Trit is meant to be used, and here I can convert it to Pars and Dil, which I need more of, especially Pars, as well as the other things in them. It would be less of an issue if they had a good product. As it stands the product itself, the game client, is probably the worst game client I have installed on my tablet. That's not even counting the countless bugs that are just left in the client for months, sometimes years. Annoying ones too, like the exo bug and syndicate crew bug.

The reason these issues exist is precisely because of their money grabbing business model. They put all of their resources into making new content, and knowingly release it even when it has huge bugs in it, because of their release cadence

If the client was smooth as butter without a huge memory leak. If the interface wasn't latency dependant. If the client had less bugs. If the releases weren't plagued with bugs they push because they need to meet a deadline, I'd be happier with scopely

New pvp primes that everyone will buy therefore making the advantage neutral and voided. If no one buys an increased damage pack the outcome between players is the same as if everyone buys it. We are but cows getting milked

On our server there are approximately 8-10 account switched players. Whale accounts that quit and were passed on to low level none spending players who gain an ongoing and lasting advantage through breaking the terms and conditions of the game. Customer service are well known to be less than proactive at dealing with ANY such issues.

We have that on 45, but lately the whale accounts have been passed onto players who can’t afford them. They are super excited to pound down til the repair bill hits and they disappear.

Are you serious? If war/PVP fighting is boring then what would you call the other game activities like mining, refining, hostile grinding etc.? 😉

While we are waiting for incursions, war is the only way to enjoy all the ships, crews and researches we've collected

It's also a way to test new things, learn new strategies from opponents...
...so when the real test comes (like next Incursions), I know I would be more valuable to my server and my teammates 🙏🤩
