For players in the Ops 15 range, having a Realta event that requires you to spend 2 relocation tokens (no Discovery for summon) to get to/return from a system that counts in PvP or within warp distance to reach low enough hostiles to battle seems punitive to access the associated event coins.

You don’t get relocation tokens from the dailies, you get the alliance credits which you can exchange for relocation token in the alliance store. They also start dropping from hostile chests as well, iirc the separatists were a decent source if you can hit them (eg ka’bi in klingon space).

Yeah, this is why I raised Event as problematic for those specifically within the Ops 15ish range. Most likely relocated out of range for the PvP or defeatable hostiles with Realta, separatist (didn’t know they drop but will try…although have to repair between each one) are barely achievable, killed nearly 1000 hostiles in the 15-20 range in last 3 days (know because if LB placement t) with no chest relocation tokens yet and accumulated Alliance Store credits are limited.

But it really shouldn't be problematic. 50 alliance credits is very little, and you can earn it regularly from doing alliance helps for the daily goals.

A lot of stuff in this game is balanced around having an active alliance. If you struggle there, then I'd recommend moving to a new alliance so that you can help each other grow.

Why are you even complaining about the realta, it has an easy way to complete. Literally kill 54 hostiles anywhere in the galaxy. That's one of the easiest things to do

Yeah if you can’t kill the separatists yet I wouldn’t bother. I would just accumulate a small pile of relocation tokens using the alliance credits for the future, eg get them up to 10 or so over a couple weeks then go back to buying peace shields or whatever else with the credits as you were doing before.

For the most part, you all have been helpful. The prime reason for my query was to point out a specific window of Ops development that is problematic for Realta event reward coins (requiring use of limited relocation tokens to be within warp of PvP or achievable PvE)…this is an event chat after all…which doesn’t really apply higher or lower and ask for suggestions/confirmation I’m not missing something. Didn’t mean it to get into a “need to move alliance” debate. Rightly said those that are newer may be exactly where they want to be. The rewards for placing in top 10 (next highest tier) Vs top 25 come with a lot of dynamics a newer player may not want. We also won our servers Q event. Also a fairly useless event rewards wise, but fun to be of the 5 that coordinated and bested everyone else.

Given limited options, I’ll likely make an informed decision to make the alliance credit expense to gain the Picard coins.

As a f2p I think you should probably be focused on collecting officers like Hugh or PicBeverly. You should be able to grind out the skin during the Apex events with some help from your alliance mates

Depends how invested you are in the Stella loop. It’s a 30% reduction in particles for the research which is pretty nice especially since that research tree is expensive, but if you don’t do much Stella stuff then go for officers especially Hugh

Exactly true, I was just correcting the statement that said this treasury in particular was a free one so Scopely modified it to be lower value. It is possible that they modified it to be lower value but they have no way of telling when most of the player base will get the free treasury as it’s an option and everyone acquires broken desealing rods at different rates. So in reality yes every few months but in theory every month is a free treasury it just may not be a free one for you

Ok ... sorry I misunderstood that you were correcting a different perspective.

I do think the "value" of the treasury is entirely in the eye of the beholder. This will be the first treasury I'm buying specifically to get the Queen of the Borg shards I'm short and will not cost me much to get more in the event store.

Comrades in arms in my alliance, however, are also decrying what they view as a low value for the lack of certain materials or parts.

I think the "problem" Scopely has is, to your point, figuring out a balance between those rewards that are free using broken rods and then those that are included in the $100 pack (sort of like an Elite Battle Pass) and then implement it in some fashion.

This could work to lure those relying only on broken rods to see what they are missing out while still making the treasury packs worth an investment of $100 for whales & dolphins.

That said ... I'm sure that there are plenty of "someday, maybe" things that have a much higher priority to improve gameplay, introduce new features, and make arcs/events we all want to play.

Whoever came up with the Dixon Hill cases should get a bonus. Much harder than usual but not as insane as some of the musical code clues from last year for those of us who can't tell a B Flat from an West London Flat.

Yep, apex changes are clownshoes bad. A weekly slb when people will never drop out of the event and you need 4 (correction, 6) 1st place finishes for the assimilated skin alone. This is going to be a huge step backwards for people in terms of the event and the sheer grind it’s going to add for most.

Since we have Eclipse battlepass event too (kudos for synergy), I was using Stella to kill 39 and 40 eclipse hostiles to get also maximum points for the Apex event. I have finished the battlepass event before I finished 1st milestone in Apex SMS.
It may be intended for the sms to be twice as hard as battlepass event, however coupled with the armada sms it results in way too many ships in 2 systems and while it is not as time consuming as, say, Faction hunt, it is not a good experience as it openly reveals issues with lag, double calls of armadas and with armada circles not showing because the systems are way too busy.

For the rewards, I am not very happy that research badges are limited to 1 claim of 60 badges, as we get 90 so I cannot use them all to progress my research. I will have to spend the remaining 30 badged on 2 material chests, which is not optimal for me, because gas and ore are again one half of what crystal chest has and it feels like wasting my badges on crystal that I do not need, but it also seems like a waste to buy chests with only half amount of mats inside them.
