As a means to convert leftover Shamrocks to something instead of adding another clutter of leftover currency to our inventory? The treasury event is essentially just a bigger pack with a unlock delay to it. If you're bugged, then you can't buy it yet even if you wanted to. There's no trick involved. They want it working just as much as you.

Which ever it may be, there really is no point us trying to fix it or discuss and get all annoyed, as long as scopely does not make an effort to balance the brackets. Almost all the brackets are unbalanced. At least make it a bracket where all players in that bracket have access to the same ships. Research and what not may defer depending on what the individual focuses on. But only thing I ask, from my opinion at least is the ship accessibility.

If it was 42 to 45 then yeah, we all have access to the same ship, which makes it more digestible compared to having a 44 to 47 where the 44s and 45s don’t have access to the lvl. 46 ships. And plus, as the event in question is about dmg dealt, the ship does matter unlike a directive spend event. But anyway, I do not want to delve into it anymore.

They WILL make an effort with the brackets, just not the effort we want them too. You have to remember Scopely's primary motive, which is to increase player spending. It is well known that creating negative emotion can drive an increase in spending, so slightly unfair brackets would encourage that.

Are Scopely the only company to do that? No, but that are probably among the worst. Do they care about player fairness at some level? Yes, but it's down the list a fair few items.

I generally think players on this game split into two camps: Ones who let the game mould their lives, these set timers for miners, make sure they log in for shields etc without fail. These guys heavily care about ROE due to round the clock optimisation.

The other camp make the game mould to their lives, they might not log in for days. They sometimes get raided. These guys care less about ROE and the like.

I'll never say camp 2 are wrong, they have the right attitude to a computer game that will be meaningless in 4 years, IMO
