I like every event except that the cerritos borg grind doesn't include the updated locations. The entire point for the vidar-t is to make the grind less and here we are at a new event with the entire server motivated to kill limiting location options.

Well for me I move my base to a remote system and then go run missions or grind in other systems.

I watch my ship "fly" to a system for 10 mins, hit some red ships, then when another player enters the system, I recall and wait 10 mins till it appears at my base, and repeat for a couple hours to do something that should take me 10-15 mins...

PC game downloaded. Time to stick up a shield an wait for the announcement to say the event rules have changed.

Pvp is pretty balanced, I punch up 3-4 levels against explorers and get owned by lower power interceptors. Just play the triangle and it’s pretty balanced. Most people have the strike teams now so that has been an improvement.

pvp is totally unballanced in this game. Players with larger ships hunt all players with smaller ships who have no chance ... pure paid size plus paid crews matter, nothing else.
if you want to implement a real pvp in this game implement a pvp arena or pvp leagues where players of equal strength and/or equal pvp score are matched for a ranking.
I will stay offline whenever these pvp events are active.

So my complaint with this PVP event that's embedded in the Unified Matrix- SLB event is that some Whale alliances took it as open season on players stations, as well as, alliance starbases, which is NOT part of the event...or so it was believed. Well ASB attacks are normal even outside event, my alliance attacked one last week just because we was short on rss 😄 . Players can get attacked any time outside the event so nothing new just more risk during event. Also "shield or share" for bases. 😄 . You dont get points for attacking a station, you get points for destroying the ships inside the station, so no ships = no points.

On my server it's rather quiet- nobody really seems to participate in this event. There have only been a few minor incidents in the beginning but nothing major. Swarm & Token areas as well as Miners and Territories are spared/prohibited and the 'rewards' are a bad joke anyways..

This is the gist of the issue. PvP in this game is broken in so many ways. Level 60 ships can punch down at least as far as my level 44s. Event bracketing is just downright stupid. There is a total lack of effort/thought from $copley despite constant complaints and suggestions from the community on how to make PvP interesting

This right here is the most accurate statement ever. We have had so many newer players, who were showing excitement at each new phase, go stale or leave due to incursions and events like this. The whole alliance rallies behind helping folks grow, now there are so few new players that stick around in the game. Bad events and broken events have been driving them away. I bet our server has 50% less active players than it did just six months ago. Its a sad state of affairs, and scopely is ignoring the longevity of the game. Fix the bugs, stop launching broken events daily, and revamp pvp to make it engaging for all players. It can be done, other games have done it.

if you dangle a prize for mindless PVP you are going to get mindless pvp, and unhappy players RoE is more of a guidance people agree on not hard rules, most servers are events supersede roe. So make it unattractive on the leaderboard to make other players live miserable

I think the thing that upsets us is by their actions they are killing a social construct for many of us. This is a hang out, because the “game” is not that great, and is wildly overpriced. But the PEOPLE are cool. And scopy scares them away being tone deaf to their player base.

For dailies, you have to kill 25 hostiles, of which there are invariably a number of systems you can do that in. Most of them also include options for relocating there, so you can run home if you’re spotted.

I think the issue has to deal with events that try to force pvp like the one going on now. I’m sure every server has players who love pvp and others that just want to follow the game stories and grind away. Well designed events make people want to participate, unfortunately we don’t get many of those

That the game is playable F2P, and even can be enjoyed F2P isn’t an opinion, it’s a demonstrable fact. You at no point are flat forced to pay money.

If your hitting lvl 25 and your ops 25 your ships are to weak for your ops lvl, their is a lvl 14 in my server using Jellyfish killing lvl 28 traders
