Its so bizarre, they've done it twice now and it's never been something anyone has asked for. Then they change the permissions on the starbase, despite that also not being something anyone has ever asked for. Yet the bugs that are mentioned here 20x a day go ignored. They ARE putting some manpower hours into solving problems, but they're choosing to solve problems nobody asked for... can't say I've ever seen a company do that before. 😂

Almost every "heroic" event has been completable without spending. You may have to grind more, but it can be done.

That was true up until relatively recently. Then scopely started doing crazy events. I get that you want to add an incentive to buy a pack. Just do it by adding stuff to the pack directly, for a limited time

I think saving rods for next week can allow you to finish two collab SMS events instead of just one, and that's like 500 extra chips? maybe it's a move to consider.

I won't be doing that, doubt it's intended, and 500-1k chips is nothing really.

i just collected my syndicate Xp from battlepass i've been saving...got 0 points in the SMS. what a crock

should've been 25k plus points added but my SMS is only at 23.82k from my other syndicate xp stuff

@pseudo rune i know its a bit early to grade this arc but an instant grade F for me, why????

1. excluded from four 4 pvp events because i didnt have the required ship - instant fail despite me telling them during first of the 4 of those pvp events
   2, way way way too many armadas which i normally hate but no time in between to regather dirs so again - instant fail
   3, just an arc i have actually had so little interest not what i wanted ds9 expansion to be like
   feel free to share this with scropley, truthfully the worse the game gets the less i want to play it anymore

All of your exchanges are still at T2, you won't get the event. And I'm not convinced the server has collected 6x exchanges in a single officer because you haven't hit the limit yet.

I would not save the rods if you've already messed up once, there may not be enough weeks to finish if two are scrubbed. The correct way to play an all-in event like this is to spend 18x rods into one officer so that you can progress your overall investigation(6x into Investigate, 6x into Transmit, and 6x into Receive).

It used to be, during last month. And it is still a strat even during these all-in ones if you wanted to hedge your bets for December's store at the cost of the collab events for this month. It was not explained, it had to be learned from observation and through discord's #⚡-mod-announcements .

Not clear at all by scopley. That says no where it has be same person each week. Just that it has be same person in a week. No wonder why so many people are quitting.

I love DS9 but this arc is trash. Badly explained events, canceled events left and right. Scopley greed on paywalling everything and/or leaving out sub 35 on most everything.

This is from the espionage page of the in game news channel. I think ‘only one’ is in bold… in a footnote to one of the four events listed.
I guess Scopely can only afford white and cyan fonts. Can’t afford red and top billing for a mission critical statement so people would pay attention…

Maybe but in the actual events that all threw weeks it had be same person.

Spending rods can lead to progressing your exchanges for next week. If your exchanges are 2x Investigate and 1x Transmit, then spending into Transmit 6x will give you Receive next week. And it's only by spending 6x into Receive will you get the clue.
