yeah, sometimes I dont, it is what it is. Only officers that I reallly missed out on are Picard and Strike team. Am short a few shards of SNW Pike which is unfortunate. But it doesnt really hamper me that much.

Because the event description should be as short and precise as needed. As a mission log in other games, that tell you what you should do ("kill the ultimate boss XYZ"). The "how" is the way players should figure out either by a tutorial or other hints while doing so, f.e. you wouldn't put something like "use a silver sword to kill a vampire" in the event (mission) log, but you would hint to it by other story pieces, or during the mission itself

I think that is a cop out. "You may use 3 of your own ships" is 8 words that would have changed it all and actually made their instructions complete and synchronized instead of leaving out the main point of what makes them Solo armadas.

Lvl41 here. I got today 200 directives (100 in the gift chest + 100 after grinding hostiles and exchanging in the faction store)

I expect to get another 300 more by grinding in the coming 3 days

I need 4000 points to finish the event, which equals 4x lvl40 new armadas (2x already successfully done)

IMO the event is doable… Far from easy, though, but doable

Appreciate it Old Man. I do have to say, the IGN for events this month has a lot of issues, but I do like the ones including the special rewards. Last months format was pretty good with how the subheadings worked. The month before was great too when any changes were highlighted a different color.

I pull the information into my own file and sort it in a few different ways. Last month was difficult when a lot of changes were made and I had to compare each event.

So the one addition I would like to see is that the Jem'Hadar kills count for the faction daily kills. It makes sense story wise and would make the daily grind less overwhelming for a lot of people.

Last month's layout was better I think. It felt cleaner. Adding in expected special loot like (this event will give you this officer's shards) like was done this month would also be good. Then color code any changes if/when they occur.

Also, it needs to be looked at as well. This month has multi day events but only have the start day listed for example.

And I would KILL for an export option! 😛

What I generally do every month is write them out in a slightly different format, then sort them by start dates, then pull out those I think require planning. I share it with different groups of players, if you'd like to see. I'm always working on improving it and am thinking of a section by event types (I noticed that the sub sections last month seemed to be sorted by SLB, ALB, XSLB, SMS, etc.)

there will be spending events for you're G3/G4 what they change is how you get rewards, not only 1 rank get a full unlock. When you invest material amount xxx you get a full unlock for example. tl;dr invest will equal payout

okay, its completable IF i have knowledge about how solo armada works and how strong they are for my ships. i used 3 my strongest ships and cant kill lvl 43. so, i can do only 40. its impossible to finish it with 40's in 3 days. so, for scopely logic for this event we:

1. should have 3 ships - two G4 ships for my lvl its at least 16kk power both and one G3 ship maxed. I have a maxed D4, T5 ktinga and T2 Jelly - so, not strong enough. only 20kk power for my armada team.

Unpopular opinion here: The armada event seem to be some kind of revenge on those players that leveled ops too quick without taking care of their officers, research and ships accordingly. 4 days and the initial chest gives you 5 armadas to run. Personally I went for it, knowing I could do it in 4 tries over the 4 days. So I considered the 1 try from the chest my training. Used that on a higher lvl (43) then I felt 100% comfortable with. Won, easily and finished the event in one shot (ops 42). Seen other ops 42s fail miserably on lower armadas. Why? See my initial comment. 🖖

I over power ships 10 lvls better than my own even higher Like for like. Before strike team. After is just insane. But yet these armadas still a struggle. If I stick to 35s will be ages before I can open chest in faction store. They should be a bit easier and or more rewarding, we should have all been given more than 100 directives to start aswell. It's getting tiresome that everything has a £90 price tag attached to it. We now have 4 sets of armadas if we needed 1 pack of each in a month to participate in events that's £360 in a month for directives. I understand scopley needs to make money as a business but things starting to get a bit much. I've payed for every battle pass since i started playing. Plenty of extras Inc many too packs and yet the games still a struggle. Think is about time I close my wallet til things improve. IF AT ALL.

That wasn't my point at all. You stated what you believed the reqs were for the event, and it was way over-estimating the amount of ship power you'd need. Personally, I think the judgment calls on what's needed are way too early based on the limited runs we've had so far. Players haven't had a chance to really think about and tinker with using 9 officer slots in ways to form a team. That much inexperience leads to much room for improvement.

Please tell me I am wrong here about the Domadas SMS event. At Ops 49, I should be killing level 48 Uncommons. With the gift chest and the BP rewards, plus killing one I earned from antimatter every day, I will be able to kill 6 Uncommons during the event. That gets me 330K points. I need 356k points to complete SMS. I could do it if I got enough Rare directives and could kill a 49 Rare. But I only get 175 Rare directives from a pull of the Uncommon Loot Chest, and I will only get 1 pull over the course of the SMS. So, unless I pay $, I cannot complete the SMS. Right?

After what happened with the Cardassian Armadas I wasn't really sure how these would work with known crews. I made the mistake of starting too low, but I really was just testing them out. I didn't want to waste the directives, so I started at the bottom instead of taking a chance and hitting more in the middle. It was obviously a bad idea, but it really was born out of the lack of any information. I hadn't read anything about them beforehand, which I probably should have done, so I was flying blind. BTW, you are correct, I'm at 49. I don't have anything stronger than my Kelvin yet as I've been building up my station and research over building up my ships. I'm holding at 49 now and getting back to my ships. The recent rep packs helped a lot in the process of getting Rare ship BPs and I should have my Pillum in a month or so, unless I get lucky somewhere with a rep event.

That's the one thing I forgot to do, look at the math and work the problem backward. Worst I would've done is blown up and waste a directive. It totally sucks. For what it's worth, I was only working on about 2.5 hours sleep. I was up for about 22 hours and only slept for 2.5 before tackling all the new stuff. What ops should kill what lvl of armada in your eye to complete these impossible events and to progress the new faction like you told us (3-4day for a blue armada) while i cant see a way to get a blue armada in less than a week...

very ver dissapointing... spending money and growing in ops should be some kind of advantage... every new content hast terrible scaling... look at mantis... mhigher lvl and you have to grind waaaay more jsut for less than 10% more outcome... this negativ scaling is terrible!!!

found it, but dual lvl46 ship is not representive... thats i guess less than 1% of the player base... while lower can easily finish events and get chests without crazy spending und camping ops... still cant see why higher ops should be punished...
same for the loot chest... even with 50s, we still need 5-6 days to trade in 1 chest and about 7days to get 1 blue...

An interesting Jelly crew I was thinking about awhile back is BevEuryMudd, it's extremely defensive and Jelly has a built-in ramp. If I had a strong jelly, I'd try it on these.

Don’t get the “single faction” argument though…. I’m “single faction”: romulan 1b lock now working on Klingon. Yet I managed to get BP for Kelvin by “only” grinding to get a 2nd 42 ship. So don’t need to be multiple faction to get at least the 42ships. And yeah I know 46BP are much harder to grind.
