The spy is revealed in Dec, and it almost certainly matters which intel type. You probably have to collect intel on the spy as best you can, so decide who to target or play it safe and get all 3. I'd guess that the intel on the spy yields better rewards than the others.

i've just completed the DS9 Hoodwinked lvl10+ missions, and I'm none the wiser as to who could be a spy, as imo all three spoke and acted differently to how their characters would in the show.
This event itself is an intriguing idea, but without access to the core and other side missions (i'm only lvl23) i'm none-the-wiser, sorry.
I also don't know whether i should be spending the isolinear rods on the transponders, or comm logs (or wait?), due to the various countdown timers (15hr remaining on transponders).
Meanwhile, should I have not spent any isolinear rods yesterday as I hadn't yet done any mission (because the only one i could do wasn't available)?

Not necessarily. For a T4 Ent, it will be a ~25% boost to shield deflection. The base stats for the epic ships are ~15k for the strong one. Adding 30k to mitigation for that stat is a significant increase.

Look, I understand the cost of running a business and you gotta make money but lets face it, its not like you are paying real dollars for latinum. Its in game currency. Its not like I can take the 40k in latinum that I have and go buy a car. But if they gave us a full unlock of O'Brien. Not 5 shards not 10 shards. A FULL UNLOCK . Not only would that have quashed a lot of the moaning but if they then took Sisko and put a full unlock of him for $99.99 people would buy it. Heck MOST if not ALL the pay to play would buy him in a heartbeat. I guarantee they are not selling as many packs as they could because the players are upset. The maintenance chest and the comp chest while generous and appreciated was laughable in a way and IMO didnt go far enough. Absolutely right! We figured this out yesterday following preliminary testing. I got the Mantis, got mine to T5, but lack enough beacons to mount a 1st place push. Still, I passed along the info to others who are killing the SLBs.

However, the main issue has nothing to do with how “bored” anyone is given they have the time to score points. More power to them. It’s about the lack of transparency in scoring. Had that been clear from the outset, many wouldn’t have wasted time and resources trying to score within the boundaries that were not presented honestly.

99% sure they will run the next two runs of this event correctly. The event is designed to sell the skin, and it doesn't do that when it is using heavy hitter code.

Scopely just goofed hard and is saving face. When the next event comes with the augur or d4 refit, they will have it be an actual armada damage event, with a bonus to the skins.

This is the only thing that makes sense. Otherwise they will be running a total of 5 heavy hitter events this month

Been thinking about this starbase thing. Having an event that uses badges you have to buy in the alliance store, using Kardashian armada rewards, ran with directives that are sourced as a trickle and needed for other game content.

Anyone ask for any if this? I've been playing for year's. When I started most of server 26 was still in teens. Highest players were in 20s. Way back then we wanted an alliance starbase. The reason we wanted it was to provide more assistance to our team than just hitting the help button. The more I think about what we have been asking for and what we have been given the more disappointed I am in all this. 3 years and it's still nearly a completely solo game with a help button when we've been asking for 3 years for more.

Good thing scopley doesn't need my $20 a month.

Need to increase the spawn rate of the supply ships 5 fold or more. Thats the only way to beat the event without an amalgam.

i did 1 load in my vidar. 330k. took about 25 minutes because of having to compete for ships. i would need to do another 29 loads to finish. would need a solid 12 hour grind....

remember when scopely put limits on the amount of hostiles you could get loot from? And they set it at 1,000 because they thought that was an unreasonable amount for anyone NOT botting to do? Now they give us an event where you HAVE to do 1,000 hostiles in 1 day if you don't have an amalgam. seems counterintuitive

seems to be the general attitude in this game unfortunately. I only hit 31 and unlocked getting amalgam bps from cosmic cleanup recently. literally can't have it any faster than i am getting it now without spending $. Got lucky to get 50 bps in last event store but still need more.

We though about that to help people without amalgam, but shouldn't score. Only stoling Lat and g2/3/4.

server 110 is not even 3 months old. i'm probably the highest f2p player at ops30 there; we have like 12 ppl of ops31+, and the highest whales are ops36. i don't know exactly how low down the event is being offered, but i know that ops23 gets the event as well

Roe shouldn't be written in a way to prevent the completion of events. Some servers have a clause to that effect even.

Organizing a game of hot potato could easily finish the event for tons of players, one amal fills up, someone kills it, then someone kills that, and another after that, etc. Just move the cargo around, no one warps out so the opc stays in the system.

Running an amalgam full of plunder into someone’s base also gives score to the person hit.

This is like a damage check boss in a fps raid or rpg dungeon, it’s looking for a specific thing to make it beatable.
