I recently got my ops to 40 and for this event I have taken my academy, r&d, shipyard, one dock, one defense platform, 2 generators, and my science lab all to 40, along with a couple of researches and I still haven't completed the milestones for this stupid incursion prep event! I'm so sick of unrealistic expectations scopely!

Dont play hard play smart: R&D 40 opens up a lot of new research. Most of them have a power increase at around 60k. That means doing one lvl 1 research would have completed the event for you.

ROE - Rules of Engagement, these are created by your server so you can play in a fairer way.
TC - Territory Capture, it refers more to the territory zones in the bottom left of galaxy view that alliances can compete to keep and get boosts from it

Ok. I did 1 research for 95% of the points and with the other 2 i had it was done. Cost me 12-15k lat. So 2 ATA missions. Totally worth it. And rushing research is never bad. You need to do it anyway at some point.

And it was specific to that player: he had the option but either didnt know, didnt realize or ignored it.

We've had unpleasantness sure. Usually involving just the same old suspects though.
There is PvP available, go to a system and do it there, great. All for that.
But this event actively encourages people to come over and just wreck everything in sight. If it just excluded survey ships and territory i'd be happy. That would allow those that want to avoid it the ability to go do something in territory, do their mining etc, and those that want PvP have the rest of faction space to go play in

What players chose to do or not do with an event is down to them. Ultimately scopely notes the numbers that matter. If an event rewards, you enjoy it, do it. If neither, shield and have a break from the game. And if its the server I am invading level 20 plus system is fine by me 😉

Yes the graphics is not cutting edge. However for me the greatest moments in the game come from the social dimension. Often PvP and raids (whether I was losing or winning), led to hilarious conversations. These pixels create a complexity of interaction, with treaties and wars that I did not anticipate. Features such as raiding, territories and now incursions are therefore most valuable to me. And on my server I am known as a peaceful player.

I'm lvl 42 and the offense and defense event win/lose 46 ships are not on the points total or do you get any points for them. Think that 42s wouldn't face 46 or higher is kind of wishful thinking and you can't even earn any points if those persons target you soon as you enter the PVP system everytime.

Yup. This has become a snooze fest. The only way to win is to be lucky enough to come across a whale who lapsed in their shield discipline.

They should have kept the 4 phases, but have the SMS's continue between phases (if you didn't finish attack sms during your first phase, you have another chance to wrap it up during the second time the phase is run). There also needs to be a PvE element to the SMS.

Server vs server scoring should only be during a phase, and there shouldn't be an attack/defense difference. One phase a server scores defending, while the other scores by invading. The 3x bonus to invaders is really out of balance and should be eliminated.

This would encourage those playing to participate in both phases, instead of just staying on the enemy server because of a 3x point multiplier.

I've got to say this is probably the worst designed event for an incursion and I have to think someone goofed. The whole point of the incursion is server vs. server, but for this event you have to coordinate with the other server players to have specific ships in specific systems. How does that make sense? Also, the points given for win/loss don't scale with ops level within each of the tiers.

Our PvP system has been empty most of the time. Racing other people from my server for kills just to end up killing ships that don’t score for my event is frustrating.

No one is grinding, no one is mining, obviously no one is in the 40-44 PvP system and most of the raids were exhausted in the first 6 hours. I like the event, but not when 99% of the opposing server is bubbled out in low level space.

Feedback on this round of incursions for me.

A) Changing from the serial 6 hr to simultaneous 12 hr attack/defend events was both a benefit and a hinderance but my biggest issue is that this change wasnt announced ahead of time.

B) Points need to be even for invading/defending; right now it is a detriment to try and stop a raid or other attack on your own server as you are giving them way more damage points than you get back

C) the attack/defend events being zone restricted is just silly, for the most part i see a ton of one servers ships just sitting there waiting for the other ones to show up, this is just a waste of time and not fun

They got a base with trillions on my server. Poor dude came back and had half his base gutted. Apparently he wasn't the only big base who got hit but he's the only one I know of

I don't think agresser should get bonus at all. It should be even across the board. And they need to seriously up pvp points based on hull damage

Maybe add a mining component to get the non pvp players and lower levels scoring points, make that 3x on the other server. Also while mining no shield so you can't afk it

ok, so yes it has the 2x12hr in the event info, but with the last one they mentioned that Server A would do Attack/Defense/Attack/Defense and that it would flip for the next incursion. When they changed our opponents they didnt mention that it would be changing from the old one at a time. That is what I am commenting on
