this game was meant to be way bigger than a mobile game like it is right now. they had some really cool ideas they dumped right into the trash.

well, i can't go into too much detail about it but...

the game binary... it has flags for weather, planets, vegetation, wildlife, everything.

the first few apks of the game have unused files, models, and sounds.

in unity, you don't need to set these flags to zero or disable any of those features. also, it plainly describes exactly what they intended to add to the game.

Finally made it to ops 70..about 20 days ago.

Its been a long 4 years? but managed to make it there. Started playing with Zagra in server 109 when i didnt know my a.ss from an elbow.

We all moved over/merged with DAMA later on and ive had the most fun playing with them guys who helped me (tezzlaman & gul) along to get here.

Unfortunally the game its not what it was years later. Too many muppets rogues and kids to deal with.

Cant say bad things about scopley as i had fun. Just wish somebody actually listen to our issues and complaints. Specially after all the £££ and time invested in the game.

Ops 70 is good enough.

so the additional ship bug is caused by async job failure.

most of the bugs that the pc client experience can be fixed by setting job values manually and memory allocators in the boot.config

these are respected for the pc version only

this is caused by using a blueprint and has no defaults set at build.

the repair button, extra ships, menu lag, loading menus, and asset bundles are all bugged because there are no values built correctly per terminal and they default to the lowest parameters. block sizes could be as small as 4mb. which is extremely wrong.

pretty much. i can tell you the top 3 lines you should add to the pc client's boot.config if you have a pc made in the last 10 years.

this will enable the cpu to use multicore rendering, forced, and should be checked for by the build process but scopely's game is just... idk. it looks like it's autogenerated by a blueprint template from the commercial unity hub.

exactly that. for instance the gc slice value in the boot.config is set to 3 or 4. it should be 7 or 8. the garbage collector is a highly sensitive aspect of unity 6 games and you can think of it like disk cleanup for the engine. scopely should have a configurator in place. they clearly do not.

do you want disk cleanup/memory cleanup running constantly? no. so if they had set their memory allocators correctly, this slice value wouldn't be needed this low.

the repair button, base scanning, and attacking problems are related to alot of the issues they seem to ignore at scopely.

i believe whoever is in charge of coding the game is new to unity.

there's about 30 settings that go in the boot.config at build that improve the player experience, they are missing set to the lowest value possible at build. likely because of compatibility concerns but this is an ineffective and very uncomfortable way to play games.

memory allocators are respected by the engine, and would be extremely difficult for scopely to lock out for the player as they don't affect anything but fps. i'm actually concerned why they don't have memory alloc set properly in the boot config. that is read at start.

this game is so hard to code for that whoever made it had no intention of whoever is working on it now to know what it does.

their code is written for single player blueprints. this game constantly makes references. you can't run garbage collector every 3ms. while it works on older hardware, from 2013, nowadays the whole game is constantly in "alive" status.

Just had 2 epics needing attack; for the same officers I had one with ~ 90% win and now for the second I have about 80%. And they're broken since the academy arc came. Before this arc I had many P1s with more than 95% success. Now nothing above that, but mostly in the 80s.

It’s nothing to do with traits.
Maxed officers that previously were always over 100% on tasks are now way below 100%.
Also the automatic selection of required officers no longer works, so you may want to look into that too.

why are the solo g6 armadas counting down improperly after using speedup... you fire the speedup and pay your 450 and then the timer on your ship dock still reads one minute, the solo counts down from 10, and there's a 3 second delay before combat.

really to account for this lag and the issues that plague this obviously broken idea, set the timers lower from now on with newer armadas after applying speedup.

But lord and behold, i finally max out my GS31 and go to use it for the first time for hostile Faction daily grinding, and yet i noticed that even the level 69 hostiles, 2 levels above me, were surviving. How is this possible?? they have an HHP of 15.79Billion, but yet my Gravitional Blast is 16.2Billion. well hang on a minute, in real world math, if i am sutracting 16.2 from 15.79 then that would leave me with a negitive number, right? 15.79 minus 16.2 equals Negitive 0.41. well that means that level 69 hostile should be dead.
Well not according to my logs, because i have been TAXED. 20% tax to be correct. Why have i been taxed? this is not on,
i have included screen shots of my logs for EVERYONE to see that once again Scopley have messed with the coding to add this tax and not tell anyone, or this is yet another bug.
