True story. The aircraft at the beginning of the Six Million Dollar Man was a real experimental lifting body aircraft that crashed. That is not cgi footage. Was on a field trip to the planetarium in 5th grade and there was a astronaut there doing a presentation on the brand new Space Shuttle they were gonna launch soon. He explained the aerodynamics of the shuttle as a lifting body aircraft for re-entry and had a shuttle tile that he held in his hand while taking a blow torch to it. He asked if we had any questions. (Raised my hand). Is that a lifting body aircraft like the one in Six Million Dollar Man? "Yes". Hm. "Was that a real crash?" Yes it was. I knew the pilot. "Did he live?"... Yes he did. Subject: Formal Notice of Departure and Feedback Regarding Product Viability

I am writing to formally communicate my decision to cease all play and financial support of Star Trek Fleet Command at the conclusion of this arc. Having dedicated significant amount of time, money and energy to this game over the last four years, this is not a decision made lightly, but it is one necessitated by a consistent pattern of institutional failure and a product that has been a "lemon" for a long time now.

The primary driver for this departure is the complete breakdown of trust. We were promised a shift toward "Quality over Quantity" in 2025; however, the execution has been a giant slap to the face of every player. Rather than delivering a polished experience, you have continually released broken products on top of an already tragically broken foundation. There is zero innovation in new features or hostiles, and rather than evolving, content and rewards that the community actually enjoys are being stripped away to favor aggressive monetization and the removal of player choice.

Regarding community health, the lack of accountability is unacceptable. Despite repeated reports of toxic behavior, the response from management has been performative. Bad actors routinely find ways around chat and game bans, signaling that Scopely isn't actually trying to solve the problem; it is simply a hollow gesture of effort that solves nothing.

Furthermore, there is a total lack of transparency and communication. Despite public assurances from the General Manager, there has been no follow-through. You have refused to listen to the player base or implement the changes we—the community—want to see. While I have made great friends playing this game, I do not need this platform to stay in communication with them. I love the IP and the community, but those are no longer enough to overcome the failures of Scopely.

At this point, I don't know why any player would want to keep spending money on a broken game. After today's arc being another fiasco, I am not spending a single cent before I leave for good. I hope many more do the same, as hitting the bottom line is the only way the game will ever be fixed.

Give me a reason to stay. Show me that the management and dev teams are truly listening and—more importantly—taking action. We have heard "we're doing stuff behind the scenes, bear with us" for far too long while the experience only gets worse. Unless there is immediate, visible change, I see no path for my return to a game I was once very passionate about.

Let’s be real. Player numbers are falling. Revenue is falling. That’s why all this mythic battle pass this and 8 battle pass that and pay to participate in ATs that and primes out the butt. This game is in its death throes by design. Scopes will shut it down, reassign all the dev team to the next slash and burn mobile pixel project and post on the website that it’s in maintenance mode and thank us all for the loyalty to thier fine product as well as invite us to their next game. They’ve long since passed what is becoming known as the trust thermocline in business. They’re going to shed people no matter what, in large number, not reversible at this point.

depends if on pc client, mobile, or on emulator too. some prefer the emulator experience to the pc because they can clamp the RAM use. multiple pc clients are doable but they don't share RAM properly and in this economy... better have plenty. however, if you're on an emulator, sometimes two background services called NAT server and DHCP server fail. those need to be shutdown before restarting your emulator instance.

Bad part its kind of like watching starfleet academy. Each arc installment of code is written by another and not compatible and triggers a wrongful path loop or lag. With out full knowing if they built this game from scratch or over the bones of another. Example adding in the code with turning on and off annotations clams might interfere with other things or when incursion first started the annotations they used were an issue until it was gone after the next day.

It's a team mate this time. Last time Ferengi Pass didn't score properly I did open a ticket (after reading here about it) and nothing happened. The Ferengi pass ended and well... I missed the overflow rewards though every event had been completed.

Again, CMs/Mods say: Please report to CS and then CS doesn't do anything about it. It's just a game, I'd rather play than write tickets or be the one reporting bugs and things not working.
