A lot of people paid good money for things that don’t work as they should, some of which have been broken recently.
GS31, Kirshara to name just a couple.
Ppl rightfully have a reasonable expectation of receiving what they pay for, and continuing to receive what they pay for, including those things getting fixed when they are broken.
Asking 40 for a battle pass for a chance to get very niche officers you don’t really need, but mostly getting trash you don’t, is not that.

Honestly, I’ve had enough.
We’ve come out of the 7th planned or emergency maintenance since Kirshara and Gs31 beam were broken, and base selection takes so long it makes any attacks unworkable, all essential mechanics of the game, with NO fix, and NO communication about them, or even properly acknowledging these problems.
I paid for some of these things, and they don’t work. The game is no longer really playable for me, it’s just gotten worse and worse over the three years I’ve been playing.
Player numbers are down more than 50% since the introduction of Khan arc last May, less than 12 months.
Scopely’s answer is to remove almost all remaining f2p methods of progression, and to introduce a disgusting overpriced RnG battle pass to get latest officers.
On top of that, they hold a QnA with someone in a department no one wants to hear from, and ban all discussion of the real issues facing the game.
It’s been fun while it lasted, but this game no longer deserves the time I’m spending on it, and certainly not any (more) money when what has already been spent is not being valued.
I’ve set a 14 day shield, I’ll be on for the minimal time needed to advance some stuff I wouldn’t want to miss out on - once a week for an hour or so,
Until I’m told that GS31 beam, Kirshara targeting, base selection are fixed, and G5 scrapping is actually here, it’s bye bye for now, and tbh I don’t have great faith I’ll be back.

You don’t have monthly chests to save.
You have daily tokens, which you exchange 7 of for 7-day tokens (max 35 traded per week for 5 7-day tokens as 14-7-14) and you use those to pull the 30-day chests (max 20 tokens traded per week for 5 chests as 8-4-8, or if g7 seems might be per 30 days)

The value of those 7 and 30 day pulls increase dramatically at start of each generation, and increases slowly and very little over the course of a generation
Good strategy unless you’re desperate is to stockpile all the chests you have as you work up a generation, cash them all in when you upgrade to first ops of next generation, to help give you a good start, and then stockpile again until next generation

Is 2-1-2 still doable at g7? I've been hearing that grabbing the 2-chest pull triggers the 30 day cooldown, making it 2 chests per 30-day period, rather than 5 chests per period.

Can anyone explain what's going on? I was killing cBorgmadas like I usually do, but then I failed one for no reason. My ships weren't destroyed, but combat just ended after round 2 and the combat log is broke. It shows Round 3/3, but there's nothing there. Scrolling the combat log, my DD and Ent-D were shown doing damage, but my Rotarran wasn't. I tried again and again it stops after round 2 with a couple of lines in Round 3. This time, only my Rotarran shows in the combat logs doing damage, but my Ent-D is shown receiving damage, but never dealing damage. The DD is missing from that log even though all 3 ships are once again showing on the results screen.

Today was supposed to be my armada farm day. I pulled full on cBorg armadas today and I'm out of Krenim juice for the faction store so I need to do Krenim solos. The way Scopely treats STFC players is nothing short of contempt. <@&509690795536941056> when are they going to start treating their customers with the respect we deserve, considering we pay for this "product"? When deploying any changes (but especially significant ones with high risk of things breaking), you always, always have a worst case scenario fall-back plan to revert the changes.

We deserve answers to the following questions:

1. Has there ever been such a plan in place for STFC?
   1a) If so, when it was discovered just how catastrophically bad the release was, why wasn't it put into action?
   1b) If not, WHY NOT?!

I would laugh, but as I'm sure you can imagine, I (like many players) are too annoyed by the entire situation. I do understand that it's outside of your area and control, so you may well not have the answers, and can't do anything about it personally, but I hope you can also understand exactly why this is such a major problem. Quite frankly, if this isn't the #1 priority for everyone involved with STFC at Scopely (or any contractors who may be working on the project), then there's no hope.
