Glad I’m not the only one who’s noticed this. G3 is such a fun stage of the game, and while G4 can feel like hitting a wall, the ships make it worth pushing through. By the time you reach G5, though, the events can sometimes feel more geared toward heavy spending, which is a bit discouraging. It stands out because one of the things I’ve always loved about Star Trek is its message of hope and community.

I actually think this iteration of the flashpoint event was fine. Not very exciting, but whatever. Finally got it to a point where we could do it fairly quickly and move on.

Taking it down to ‘fix it’ for 2,or 3 or… 6 months, then relaunch it when its really not all that different (remember incursions going down for 6+ months, only to come back pretty much the same?) is just going to give us new meme material for months.

I think Flashpoint is basically just Sarris invasions with a slightly different enemy. Event store is meh.

But I finished my flashpoint events yesterday in 15 minutes and didn’t think anything more of it. If its taking others longer than that, then I guess its still in a bad place.

It just seems like very mediocre content they can leave as is, run once a month and just move on from. Maybe cut all the ims/sms targets in half?

I don’t really see how they can make this better with a few more months of work either. Its gonna be back in 5-6 months with little changes, and we’ll care about it even less lol

@queen jolt this event has done what I thought would never happen. I dont play, I am lucky to do my refines and dailies. I am not working on rep grind, nothing. STFC/Scopley is a total landfill fire right now.....we are so beyond dumpster fire! Stop delusional thinking that it needs tweaks....you need a total revamp and reconsideration. How can other games do some of the most basic quality of life things that STFC can't. Post event unused rewards cleanup. The back log of unused currency is stupid....want to fix load and lag......clean up the unused currency. Jesus, I'm not a tech guru or game designer and I can figure it out.
