While my friend's printer gets replaced (had a problem whereby he had to send it back), I'm now trying to make a my own design for a federation starship

Once I'll be happy with sketches I'll do a proper 3d model too

I'll try to find a function for everything and a sort of explanation for its design, like why I made the engineering section so big compared to the rest of the hull

What's the criteria for being able to scrap a ship? I'd swapped my highest ship for a lower one once & it turned out that that could be scrapped but none of the lower ones could. I didn't scrap that one because I need it, but I'm wondering why I couldn't scrap one of the lower ones. 😩

Operation of the cloaking device was to be limited to the Gamma Quadrant.
