Question on the Ferengi Exchange Battle Pass Overflow - I finished it and got my 2000 “Premium Opportunity Chips” I cannot use them in the store because I did not buy the premium BP.

Yeah, I know Scopely rewards you for jumping through every Hoop they give you, and God forbid you have a real life and miss some or a day; you're not worth the maximum rewards then. Give us a Break, it's a game and meant to be Fun......, Also, putting it in Seasons, I know a lot of ppl didn't see it there until they had missed some or most likely the first day. I do remember about 2 years ago, you used to get a day's grace for the battle pass, but it changed. It seems to me that they punish the player for not doing everything, no matter what kind of lifestyle you have. You must do it all to get the full rewards. Well, in this case. it saved me 20$. so thanks, Scopely. No Ferengi pass for me. But for sure, some Scopely defender will jump on my opinion
and say it's your fault, the players' fault, just maybe not in those words.

Only way to find value in that pass. Is add up all the tokens on the premium part on bottom. See if that’s worth 20 bucks to you in event store 🤷🏻‍♂️. Don’t even consider adding the extra part, it’s just a tiny bonus of loot

@heady moon It is really disappointing that 3 weeks in and this IMS is still in need of more changes, plus scoring on phase 2 is not working properly as many refines are not scoring.

But what is worse is that a lot of players have checked out due to the extreme frustration of the first 2 runs of the IMS. There seems to be a collective feeling of 'enough is enough' and I think burnout, frustration, and the realization that Scopely doesn't listen to players (or rather they listen and then either don't act on player feedback or do the opposite of player feedback). I have played this game for 7 years, and this is the first time I am starting to really feel unmotivated to log into the game. This kind of rampant apathy to the game should be a flashing red flag to Scopley. I love this game and I don't want it to die off, but something needs to change to rebuild the trust that the players have lost in Scopley. The technical challenges, extreme monetization and lack of empathy for the players is not a winning formula for future success.

I know you prefer constructive criticism and actionable feedback, so let me try to help you.

  1. The players need a win and they need a win soon. I suggest you auto-finish both phases of the IMS before they end tomorrow, also clean up the orphaned missions that require phase 3 or 4 to complete.

  2. Flashpoint invasions were sold as some amazing new tech that would result in some sort of living universe that the players can influence, we are 3 weeks in with just over a day from the arc end and there is nothing new or innovative about flashpoints, so my suggestion here is that in the future, when you release an arcfall video, don't hype up something that is just a repackage of existing content (ie Saris Invasions with some mining added in).

  3. The over-monetization of STFC is concerning, players have been investing a large amount of money into the game for the past 7 years, and for that I think Scopely needs to be appreciative and respectful of their players, Q&A with devs which come off sounding like blaming players for progressing too fast to keep up with content, when Scopely has been systematically pushing content, packs, etc that entice and allow players to level ops fast is not helpful. My suggestion here is that the next Q&A the dev should bring with them humility, respect and empathy for the paying customers of the game.

A set of max exchanges should at the very least deliver the minimum number of directives to finish any sms around doing armadas, then the “chance” parts can be for additional directives. We have people, again, who have done max exchanges every day this run, and have gotten ZERO directives. In game help is stellar as usual, just telling people there is an 85% of at least getting a rare start from each pull then closing the ticket.

We have long since known and shown the rng used at Scopely is beyond bad, with payouts being so abysmal for most that you wouldn’t even come close to passing anything close to a regulated gambling bodies tests for fairness.
