Except a ship can't fix the flashpoint loop. It can make the transogen loop easier by offering hazard resistance and a high cap but that won't adjust events. At best it'll make the SMS somewhat easier

Stage 1 and 2 of the IMS at 1 point per hostile would require 1000 players to complete their stage 1 and 2 SMS approx. 220 kills per player (that's almost 4 hours of auto grinding with your best ship). How many servers have 1000 players active and participating ? Not many I'm guessing. Week 1 you had to turn it up to 2 points per kill so some servers would complete stage 2, yet in week 2 you put it back to 1 point per kill until the glitch that stop us from getting to stage 2 and your solution was to make those that completed stage 1 to repeat it but at 2 points per kill. Most players who had completed their SMS stage 1 and 2 chose not to redo it.
Stage 3 would require 850 players per server to complete this. 850 players per server would have to hold off on doing their SMS solo entity kills until the IMS caught up and they would have to get an average of 20 points per player (1-2 epics and 3-4 rare). Again I stress how many servers have 850 players willing to hold their kills , active and participating? Not many I'm guessing. Not to mention that in week 1 the points per kill was less and when a glitch blocked the rare ones from spawning your solution was to remove the epics (4x the points) but left the goals the same. There is also no clean way to get directives only a roll of the dice.
Stage 4 hasn't been reached by any server after 2 weeks of this cluster... BLEEP. I would suggest someone buys the Devs a few calculators to make sure it's an attainable goal.

Your lack luster compensation chest still left the "personal" missions incomplete because you put a requirement of completing the IMS making them not personal. They should have been based on the SMS. Players have started boycotting doing these events on some servers making the goals further out of reach. Your reaction in a "timely" manner to this HUGE problem is required or the lose of 10,000 players in June because of your destruction of a beloved storyline turning Wrath of Khan into a meme of Grinding of Khan is going to be mirrored every month.

It's clear they need to adjust things since flashpoint was sold as a core concept for the second half of 2025 yet it's also clear that many players decided "the best way to enjoy this event is by ignoring it" which isn't a great sign.

I would say it is, so many of the speciality ships they are releasing are (relatively) useless for F2P beyond the refinery. Take the GS31 for example: Useless even in the 50 waves so it'll be even longer to have a use in G6 yet I'm starting to max the artifacts. While scrapping more artifacts never hurts that ship likely won't ever help me much in waves

You need the GS-31 into G6 mats for it to be able to beam the hostiles in E50 waves.
And then basically you need to max it for the E60 waves.
The refinery is pretty good though and fairly easy to maintain.

That's what I mean, people who are G4/G5 may have it at a useful tier by the time they can do solo waves but I'm G6 already and it's slow to tier. It's an issue for nearly all ships they're releasing: If you're G6 they'll only be useful for the refinery as the loop'll be largely obsolete/doable with other ships before you get the ship to the needed tier for your ops

bonus refinery hasn't been updated, there's another issues.

The crew and I have encountered ongoing anomalies in the quadrant designated “Flashpoint Events.” What was once a stable sector filled with promising rewards and achievable milestones has become a frustrating morass of broken mechanics and diminishing returns.

Log Entry:

We initiated what should have been a routine set of missions — score points, defeat hostiles, reach milestones. Instead, we were met with:

Incomprehensible Event Scoring
Point values fluctuate with no apparent logic. Some crew actions earn zero recognition, while others inexplicably trigger double progress — until they don’t. Engineering suspects a fault in the reward matrix algorithms, but Command offers no patch or explanation.

Malfunctioning Hostiles
Hostile encounters fail to register as completed, despite verified kills and energy expenditure. In multiple instances, the same targets fail to respawn. Tactical Officer Worf would’ve thrown his bat’leth through the viewscreen by now.

Impossible Milestones
Progress bars remain stubbornly fixed at 21%. Even with full participation and bonus modifiers, several goals are mathematically unreachable without microtransaction reinforcements. Morale among the crew is low; Ensign Crusher even rage-quit a solo armada.

Lacklustre Rewards
On successful completion — when such a feat is even possible — rewards include common salvage, deprecated gear, and tokens redeemable only for further disappointment. The crew jokes that the replicator could produce better loot blindfolded.

The senior staff and I are requesting an immediate diagnostic from Starfleet Command (aka Scopely) and a review of the reward logic and event balancing protocols. Until then, I fear continued degradation of player engagement across the fleet.

I do pity OH and Pauly, bad arcs aren't new but this arc has to be amongst the worst I can recall though not quite as bad as the G6 arc or the unity debacle

I'm expecting the G7 disaster, if it even happens with the rate the game is going downhill, will be an even bigger disaster than the G6 release. The G6 release was a wreck due to the lack of version control and we all saw the issues that caused. Now try to recall all the zones, mechanics and loops they introduced since then.

Don't worry, they'll sell you a transogen miner next month for 100 euro's/100 day unlock period. If you want to get it useful as a G6 player you'll need to pay another 300 euro's/wait another 5 months

as a g6, you do not need a spezial transogen miner.... even in the lower level system the selkie mines at >1M/h and hazards are not a big problem

Possible dumb question, but here we go. They say the token gift will be for "eligible players." What defines that, since if I want to preserve my cargo I have been mining for days in token space, I would have to recall before maintenance. Would that now render me ineligible since I wasn't in token space at the time the server went down? Personally, I'd rather not lose my cargo, but I'd basically be losing a token anyway if I recalled still having like 100m in empty cargo. If I have to make a choice, I'll leave the ship, but I'd rather not have to lose what I've already mined.
