The longer a player has been playing, the easier it is for them FTP. Newer players have to understand they will not be able to do everything. It’s pay to win, or put in some time, and figure it out. Highest “pure” ftp player in game is like ops 66 now. Not even a BP. But that’s pretty much going on 7 years.

This is a game that isn’t meant to be maxed quickly. It’s their design that has kept it going this long. Paywall after paywall. Time gate after time gate.

If you hit your events button and go past the first level of the event store (going into any of the folders) you can no longer go back to the events tab. Every time you hit the Events button, you will go to the event store and can not get back to events without restarting the game. Looks like we need ANOTHER maintenance period.

At least with the MU grind, you could put on a speed crew and hit a LOT of hostiles in a short amount of time. Augment exiles are too strong for a speed crew unless you want to go through a LOT of hulls, so are stuck with a slower hostile crew. For yesterdays event, to hit my 200 kills as a F2P, it took a couple hours (full disclosure I wasn't focused... probably could have done it in an hour or so).

part of this is that parked chasers take up spots that a normal hostile would be in, so when a lot of people are farming the augment exiles there's very few spawns unless someone comes in with the proper crew and clears out the parked ships

I think the programmers are talented, but what I suspect the problem is this:

1. Management puts them on extreme tight deadlines that are not flexible because arcs are released on a set schedule. This leads to rushed sloppy coding
2. Management doesn't give their quality assurance time and players enough time to properly test things. They also don't give the programmers enough time to fix those bugs discovered by the QA team before an arc is released
3. In general the Management doesn't give the developers enough time to go back and fix a lot of of the bugs in the game because their philosophy is "unless it's totally game breaking, ignore it". This mentality is greed driven because this would only be a drop in the bucket out of their profits to do (hire one or two full-time programmers to do nothing but fix bugs), but they greedily want every penny.

They could even run an archive/old content for a couple of months while the programmers fix bugs, but they don't want to do even that

They crashed the database twice doing the auto conversion and turned it if off after then screwed everyone out of a lot of loot and refuse to make it right.. THat is a big middle finger to us all..

The really funny part is that unless I’m mistaken, a lot of ppl still can’t do some of the alliance tasks. Take the q trials one for instance. Mine are still locked against ships that are impossible doing 1.9b damage a round
