Yep, and everyone in my alliance says the same. I only seem to get zero node, away team ready, and peace shield about to expire push notifications. I no longer get ANY armada notice (start/win/lose), or notices about being attacked, ship or base. Ive logged 2 tickets, and both resulted in the same garbage reply about it being my device’s fault (hasn’t changed in over a year), or closing and restarting the app. And then they close the ticket without digging further. This seemed to become an issue around the same time the January arc update rolled out🤦🏼‍♂️

Was having trouble with Enemy Ships I click on them and then Attack button. My ship takes off where it is now off the screen and kills the enemy ship. Some other issues with ship jumping to other locations.

Now operations timer should be 1 day and an hour or something. I go back into the game and it says "Old O1h" for Operations upgrade timer. Time not changing.

12. Away team skills are not showed properly on officer choose screen resulting in me speeding up some assignments to get back officer with critical skill only to learn after refresh that he don't have that skill
13. No armada fight animation
14. No armada battle clock appearing until system is refreshed
15. Ships stucking in fight mod until system refreshed
16. showing wrong power at armadas
17. cloaking somehow make your ship 1mil less in power
18. Ship returning to dock can't be repaired as dock think its full health

Hi, does anyone else have problems with Android, my game keeps crashing, have samsung galaxy note 10+, with Android 12, 4ui..

They seem to be aware of the crash issue with Samsung Android 12 devices but I've not seen an official response on it. I'm on Android 11 and get the frequent crashing when swapping ships, but 12 is worse from what I've heard.

So still not receiving any attack, armada or raid notifications, but receiving mining building and researching notifications. Using an iphone and checked again that notifications are enabled. Seems to be a well known issue from the previous posts but still no resolution….

Since my Note 10+ updated to the latest security patch crashes have massively reduced although still happens occasionally. Seems to be mostly Samsung phones with the issue on Android. Hopefully whatever they do for maintenance tomorrow fixes some of the issues.

I had to use latinum to convert into parsteel to get enough rss to upgrade a module. I was given the message I didn’t have enough resources to complete the action, so I went out and mined 52 parsteel. Tried upgrading again and now I’m down to 51 parsteel. 🤔

The first screen is wrong, it will understate costs of both mats/rss. The 2nd is the server telling you it's wrong, and the new updated prices are the client trying to show the correct price.

The lower and the higher costs shown by the client are both wrong, opposite ends of the same problem.

Seems that they're rounding cargo differently, and with Scopely there's a good chance that it's truncated instead of actually rounded. Likely your cargo is still the same, just showing in a less helpful manner..

It is. Using other ships with lower cargo to estimate real cargo size of larger ships, I'm also expecting about 2.9m and seeing 2m. This is unfortunately not unique, hull health looks to have been working this way for some time for example 😬
Still, complain, maybe they'll fix all of the truncation if we're lucky.

Back to this truncated cargo size, how on earth will we know then what is our actual cargo size? It can be for example anything between 1 mil and 2 mil. Big difference and is not knowing what it is exactly.

There are 3 ways, none great.

1. do the math and look up the base stats (though I'm hoping to revive the old LCARS ship calculator in the next couple of weeks, which may help with the numbers).
2. fill it up with something that you can measure with reasonable accuracy and compare inventory before and after 😬
3. find a ship with smaller cargo size, select that ship, then go back to your other ship and note the % increase. Add 100% and then multiply by the lower ship cargo for an estimate.

As a simple example of what I mean, this is how I would estimate quickly.
425% increase, add 100%. So 70k X 5.25 = 367.5k vs 368k listed. Not 100%, but quick and easy estimate.

I've used sub million ship to show it working out, but principal is the same for multi-million cargo sizes.

Yes. Needs to be docked, it's the difference in stats when looking at swapping ships. You will need to change to the details tab and start with a ship below 1m (too low and the ,% increase is rounded just as bad, over 1m and you won't know it's cargo either).

The lower costs are included all faction efficiency bonuses, but the higher costs are excluding all of them. So the higher costs are correct for faction neutral ships or where you don't have faction efficiency bonuses that would apply, but otherwise will instead overstate the costs..

The client has a display bug due to applying efficiency research to component costs that it shouldn't. The error message and new, higher cost is normal. Rest assured that the server will take the correct amount of resources and mats away when the upgrade goes through.

🔹 My Disco can't summon!
There's a bug affecting cost efficiency calculations. Swap your crews around, and yes, this may cause a decrease in shroom juice efficiency. For example, if you get an error with Stamets (capt), Culber, Georgiou, then try removing one or more of them to change the efficiency %.

🔹 My ship isn't scoring event/task progress!
Auto-farming hostiles doesn't score for dailies/events post-patch. You'll need to actively attack reds in order to complete tasks/events.

Basically the number in the client doesn't match what the server wants (sometimes it's just rounding, other times it's just wrong). What you want to do is change what the number on the client is, and hopefully get a combination (warp level, officer bonuses and research) that gives the number that the server is expecting.

That's great, but people want to have simple answers. What works? What doesn't? I have the bug, so I tested the conditions that cause the bug to trigger in my case. Simple. If someone wants to test the problem like me and see if they can replicate my results on their system, more power to them. If enough of us try this, and keep the variables simple, then the problem can be tracked down and relayed to Scopely.

Another way to put it.... The Stamets/Culber combination worked yesterday, it doesn't today. Simple as that. In my case, no research was done and no ship components were added that would have had any effect on this situation. My Disco has been maxed for over a year and I've run this combination for most of that time. I tested the problem, changing as few variables as I could each time, and the results are what I posted. The ONLY variable that changed between yesterday when it worked, and today when it didn't, was the new update. Something in the code nerfed the combo.

If it's an android device, you can try uninstalling/reinstalling Android Service WebView from your google play store. Some players have a better gaming experience doing that or with a dev version.

There could conceivably be an issue somewhere between you and the server as well. A Speedtest typically test between you and the nearest/fastest test server for the speedtest app. You will be going thru multiple unaffiliated networks on the path to the game server. It is possible this is the issue if the only other person having similar issues is on your same provider. If everyone on your server is having similar issues, then it might possibly be a server or scopely affiliate issue.

What else should they do? With more and more good players leaving because cost are getting absolutely absurd when you pass OPS 50, the few remaining have to compensate for that loss in sales. We see that for months now, I am also fading out - not willing to buy 20 station packs in order to reach OPS 53 (I am currently OPS 52).

Well, I think imma donate a few trillion rss to my alliance and spread the hundreds of billions I get in packs so the level 30’s and such won’t have to spend as much money if that’s the response I continue getting from support. Between their response to this, levying a taxation system on resources, etc? They just lost a whale.

So have y’all noticed a change in attack or armada notices lately? Apparently these push notices no longer get sent unless the app is fully closed, not just running in the background. I am almost certain it used to send them when in the background but support says it is working as intended. This seems wrong. Closing the app each time I get an email to check just so I get a push notice if I am attacked or an armada starts is not practical. The app is slow to load, doesn’t return the window to where you last were focused, and sometimes doesn’t load text resources. Closing the app fully is a terrible experience. This seems like a big bug and not how it is supposed to work. I’ve written iOS apps so I know you know when it is running in background mode.

I dont see any reason why the event wouldnt work.
I'd message C/S ingame also about missing points because of that and check when the next event comes around

Vielleicht hat da dein Event ne Fehlkalkulation gemacht, hat intern die Ziele vom alten ops level (also 8,2k) und zeigt aber die Ziele vom neuen ops an.
Auf jeden Fall C/S anschreiben, Fall genau schildern, erklären, dass es auch bei anderen ist und die auch dazu animieren, auch nen report zu schreiben.
Generell ist dann die chance sehr hoch, dass ihr alle eure Punkte bekommt und dadurch keine Evenbelohnungen verfehlt.

Eine Frage aber noch: Wie viele KP Punkte hast du Stand jetzt

When restarting game, it takes 20 sec to load - as usual, but when in the game, it takes 23 sec to go to a ship mining in another system than my base location. PLS FIX.
And as that is not enough, when then opening events, it takes another 23 sec, just to tell me no events present. Go to Event store and back, and I see events.
And all this time the gift area is still grayed out till I open chat area.
I did update tuesday, and again wednesday.
Still same issue!!!

Hey Folks. Never really hung out on the Official Server before. May have found an exploit, but also dont want to waste Scopely's Time chasing it down if I am incorrect. What Is Scopelys Viewpoint on Testing a Possible Exploit Before Reporting it? If I screen Capture the whole thing, Etc Etc as proof So they can undo everything If they so Choose, would that prevent possible Banning? For the Sake of Keeping the Exploit Off Players Radars, I will not be posting anything about it here.

Alright, that's new. Have seen this issue mostly on And.12 and once on And.11
But let's try the potential fixes:
Reinstall Android System Web View.
If that doesnt work:
Uninstall Android System Webview and install Android system web view Dev version

It won't let me uninstall the Android system webview at all it just let me uninstall updates and it resets it back to original settings but it still does it I can't even get my sally back from swarm space at all now I can't even stay on there long enough to recall

Will I be able to install a new one and set it as default

One of the things that I just found out last night is that my phone according to Google shows up as an apple iPhone but it's got the Android system I thought they were two different things

Since the update a couple of days ago, I am unable to complete the Daily Goals "Hostile Harbinger" and "Hostile Hunter", The game is not updating the amount of enemies killed correctly. I killed over 30 enemies yesterday (all above the required level) and the game gave me credit for 2.
