Then send a message to support, then attach screenshots of your player ID, Ship that is stuck, it's crew etc. They will recall your ship for you. Player ID is critical to solve.

If im in a system with a ship present and leave the game in background, when I go back and "Locate" that ship inside the system, the game takes me to Galaxy view with the warning "No ship or station present in the system". This also happened during TOS Arc II.

No, the research provides no blueprints. You need to acquire them through the outlaw faction store or the main event stores.

First I wondered if Scopely had changed the Galaxy map, but then decided that the map was superimposed over a local world. Restarting fixed it.
Then during battle the hostiles would presumably be destroyed but remain on the field map. Attacking them again gave an error window and then they'd disappear. Restarting fixed that.

I have a tier 2 Vi'dar and have done the math based on previous runs, using my best crew etc, it would take me in excess of the 8 transwarp cells I can hold to complete the "jump" from tier 3 to tier 4 today in order to obtain the tickets for the ticketed event. This needs to be looked at, I appreciate the message explaining players should be able to complete the event in approximately 2 trips, however this is clearly incorrect for a great many players!

I'm a L29 player who rejoined the game after the Borg arc and therefore don't have a Vidar. There seems to be a circular logic in the game design that prevents me from making any progress in the current event:

• To buy Vidar BPs from the event store, you need borg war funds;
• To get borg war funds, you need to complete "Return of the megacube" events;
• To complete "return of the megacube" events ("live target practice" in my level), you must defeat borg tactical probes;
• To defeat probes, you must travel to a transwarp system;
• To get a transwarp cell, you must already have a Vidar.

If your ship is stuck in battle or warp, and moving a different ship hasn’t solved the problem, try restarting the game. That should fix it in most instances.

If not, please contact support and be sure to keep it simple, only say that you have stuck ship, tell them which dock the ship was sent from. ( Ex: Dock A. ), and ask them to unstuck it.

Keeping it simple will ensure that you get swift resolution of your issue.

That normally happens if your bottom deck look like this, battlelog will show all officers even though they aren’t actually having any effect on the ship

Clearing the bottom deck should show properly in the battlelog and when others scan your ship

What's the kind of response time from Scopely support for stuck ship tickets? When I try to recall my Saladin it visually shows me entering warp, then at the end of the timer appears back in the destination system.

Can't cancel warp (Invalid ship location) and can't move it around in system (this ship can't set a course in it's current state)

It's not a description error, Picardy had it right the first time. You have 60% when on a ship and 40% when not, which is 1 full officer synergy.
Captain maneuvers increase through synergy (same group, most increase through unique classes), officer abilities increase through promotions.

Ignoring that we can't see the full ship and crew details, there are 2 things off-hand that need to be considered also.

1. like-for-like you can actually get greater benefit from Kirk as Captain on a weaker ship. This is because you get no bonus to ship stat bonuses when at 300%, but if at 270% you will actually exceed the bonus from 300%. It's possible that he's gained a boon in health that have him an edge.
2. luck. It's basically impossible to say what happened based on the summary. It's entirely possible that you just took an unusually high amount of damage early on, instead of it being spread out.
   Given that neither of you have shields it's also possible that his Spock is adding more than yours, leading to better survivability, but I'm assuming that you are at least comparable in both Spock rank and defense.

Oh, and it's also possible that your stats are inflated due to locked officers. I'm assuming not, but again lack of information.
Just because you didn't fair as well as you were expecting though doesn't mean it's a bug.

This was caused by a faulty event design - you offered players events, they can´t do, because they have no Vidar and no Borg refinery. You do not offer any alternative, nor comment it. There is an issue with the loot bonus research (and others) applying in PvP with the additional taken from your protected, the more over you are the more protected you'll lose.
Scopely are aware, haven't heard about a timeline for a fix though.

s157, borg npcs grouping on spawn points, clearing localisation fixes temporarily. only witnessed in corta gamma. only started happening within the last hour or so [that ive noticed]. Normally when the npcs get back to the spawn point, they change direction - or disappear to another. they're literally getting stuck. System isn't overcrowded - myself and maybe 2-3 other vidars shooting.
Game otherwise is running smoothly. memory leak hardly noticable - game crashed/had to reboot about 2-3 times since 2200 BST

@dense osprey pretty common thing in armadas. If you click on each ship in the circle you will see the correct number. If you exit the system view, it resets. It will, however recognize the correct numbers at the start of battle.

Relatively common issue, so should be on the list of things to eventually fix, but not much anyone here can do unfortunately.
You can try sending a message to customer support in game to request a refund of directives, can't promise how helpful they'll be but if you don't ask you get nothing anyway.

It looks like just bad luck to be honest. You destroyed it before it fired the heavy 12th round shot in the first battle, and not in the second battle. I'm guessing it's the difference of 1 shot looking at that, so you're probably sitting right on the line..
I don't know how well it works at higher levels, but you could try one of the popular alternative crews like 5 and Kang (probably have enough stats at that point that 3rd spot can be whoever you like).

we're spreading over 2 discords now 😅 It's the high mitigation on those swarms, currently less than 30% of all your damage is getting through, if you can drop this by even 15% with Kang that will be a 50% increase in your total outgoing damage (big difference). Honestly those numbers are kind of meaningless.. higher strength number could be the result of differing below deck crews, officers being in locked slots for the higher only, or differing officers in locked slots between the two.
Given that you've upgraded a weapon you should go into the details for you ship on both armada reports and compare under attack; this is where you can start to narrow down where the difference is, but assuming that you have the same attack stat bonuses you should be able to see an increase in stated DPR after the upgrade still.

Except that there are legitimate reasons why there would be a drop in power, including where all officers remain the same, such as Territory bonuses not in effect.
It would also impossible to determine what is causing the issue with that much information.
The strength listed is literally based on the various attack, defence and health numbers listed under info, so the best thing to do is to compare the two until you find what's dropped in your second report. From there the community can either find an explanation for the change or you can pass on some slightly more helpful information than, though in most cases these are either locked officers or overlooking territory bonuses not reactivated.

The only change has been the upgrade of one energy weapon. That is I'm reporting this as a bug.

Except that you've stated there is a shown increase in DPR listed. The strength number is literally just driven by the 3 stat details, so 1 of them has dropped for the strength to drop. If you spend all of 1 minute you can find what's dropped between the two reports and post that detail in addition.
Or you can just leave it as is and expect the Devs to magically figure out information that isn't given, and not assume that it's one of known causes for strength changing; in which case send it to CS support instead so they can at least get your player ID and look at your account and logs (though if you've ever dealt with Scopely CS..).

I have checked the figures. The stat which has dropped is the attack. As you can see from the screenshots below it has dropped by 12K.

The only difference between the two attacks has been upgrading a weapon from T4 to T5. The crew is the same and the territory bonuses are the same

Could be. It's harder to get exact numbers, but if it's active now you should have the higher values again when out of dock. If it's not active now, easiest way to check the difference is to go to look at the weapon component in upgrade and check the shield piercing stat (the listed is an average between the weapons after bonuses) and see if the % of the territory bonus works out to about the number missing.

I've checked with my alliance colleague today and the cause of the problem has been the fact that the territory service has expired while I was doing the weapon upgrade.

We have reactivated it today (the effects are visible btw 😉) and my ship power is what I have been expecting.

At the start of the impress me event I had 102 jaylah shards. Finished impress me event. Still have 102 shards. I only completed event and spent tons of directives because it would unlock jaylah for me. Scopely support says they checked the logs and I have all the shards I am supposed to have. I know what I had before event. I would have unlocked jaylah and had 2 shards. This is ridiculous. They swear by their logs. 2nd time they screwed me in 2 weeks.

I even have an excel spreadsheet that I keep track of my officers and have it calculate how many shards I need for each tier and how many needed in total, haven’t updated that since event start and that is at 102/130.

I’m having a lot of issues with research that I do that’s quite expensive with UNC mats. And Dilithium. It’s not having any effect. No change at all

So I’ve reported three different issues now with the research

I also got no reduction in Gas costs.

This is a very significant issue because the research is expensive and takes a long time to build up to do and then you get no effect

Endgame support and a bunch of I don’t know what to say… They don’t respond intelligently and nothing is being done

Faction specific efficiency bonuses are currently not displayed in client, instead you should see the lower cost removed from your inventory.
Though do keep in mind that the formula for cost reductions has diminishing returns and is from base costs, so the reductions will not be x% of what you see. The formula to use for reductions will be: base cost / (1 + sum_of_bonuses), base costs are best sourced from LCARS.

I'm not sure how long you've been playing or your experience with these bonuses, so a history:
Traditionally none of these efficiency bonuses would be displayed for upgrades, you instead needed to have the full base cost in order to install the upgrade; however the server, where all the actual work happens, does its own math with no regard for what the client says and did include all of the efficiency bonuses correctly, taking the correct lower amount.
Obviously this was the source of much complaints, so eventually (relatively recently) Scopely figured out how to enable the efficiency bonuses in client. However, they messed it up. Faction specific bonuses were being applied by the client regardless of faction (and this still happens with some other faction specific bonuses), and now costs were understated and you were left with errors for not having enough resources and/or materials instead.. 🙄
Solution so far has been to disable them in the client, as a bit overstated is less problematic than understated. The server though, as from the start, does all of the math on its end with no regard for what your client says (don't ask me how they can get it to work on one side but not the other, it baffles the mind).

I don't have a lot of experience with this one, my advice would be to take your ship out of dock and then compare warp speed again though. It is possible that it is also disabled for the client when in dock (much like the Stella bonuses, they are in effect but don't show for you).
