I went to sleep, I wake up at 7am no notifcations, very few battle logs and my base totally cleaned out of about 20mil resources about 5 1/2 hours prior. I've added this to a ticket and had no response. This after the UI bug where a mission didnt say what it was going to take and it took 4 mil dil.

we have tested it with some other players and this happens to some, others not
so from now on i avoid mining during the night 😉

And no, it's not my device, nor is it just me. It's been happening to several of us.
Doing standard maintenance on devices doesn't do much and not reliably.

Here's the response to today's issues

This new solo event is not fair to low level players. A level 7 player can only earn 1 trophy upon completing 1000 points, yet it still costs 50 trophies just to buy one pack. If you don't want them to have access to the recruits that are available in the special, then give them a weaker set of commons and lower the price. You'll still need to put more trophies in the event tiers though.
I'm saying this is a bug because I view it as a logic bug in which poor logic was used in the planning of this event.
@native oyster I think the issue here is that communication events for help are passed only about once a minute until you send a help request or apply a speed up. Then received requests come in and get processed but only after you've already wasted that speed token when you might not have needed it. I think the only current work around would be to go into the alliance button, then click the help tab, and click "Ask for Help". Tap any one of these current buttons for your existing construction and research and it should update your help communications.
I think the frequency of the help communications check should be adjusted with the size of the alliance. Larger alliances, like over 40 members, should check every 30 seconds or maybe 20.

I believe the connection for communications might get dropped and it doesn't attempt to reconnect until you restart the game. That is a bug, in my opinion. Fix that and our messages about how many points we just got in an event every time we hit a hostile might also restore on their own.
The same could go with the reward chest becoming disabled when you know you should have a ten minute reward ready. It all comes down to one of the communication channels not resetting when it drops while the game continues to play.

Often after I clear the cache, I have to shut it down and restart the app anyway. Might as well just do that first (and skip the cache clearing).
There seems to be a bug in that cache clearing where it attempts to restart the app, but not everything comes up correctly and things start freezing forcing a reboot anyway.

I'm noticing symptoms that resemble a memory leak but with no tools to test with. On my laptop, with lower CPU and memory resources, the game will start getting slow after a couple hours to the point where I have to restart it to fix. On the desktop with better CPU and memory, by the time I start noticing any slowdown, the app is close to crashing on its own.

@slow flax and about your debugging, why don't you simply tweak bluestacks performance settings in order to allocate more or less memory, then you would have at least the same cpu strength to compare against and would it truly be a matter of just different memory size

On my desktop (with 32 GB RAM), the Bluestacks settings for the primary instance is for 2 CPU cores and 2400 MB memory.
My laptop (with 8 GB RAM) is set up for 2 cores and 1800 MB on the primary instance
For Each:
Instance #2 is 1 core and 1100 MB (plays STFC)
Instance #3 is 1 core and 1100 MB (plays STFC)
The desktop, having a newer CPU and memory performs much better. Bluestacks was also moved to my new M.2 drive. The laptop can only run 2 instances at a time without choking. The desktop runs all 6 that I use without problems.

Another issue is with repair time bonus, sometimes the repair time get reduced but not all the time.
Ship will stuck in battle mode sometimes, even if the 5s is way over, and cause sudden death in non-friendly faction space.

I have a bug where I did not receive alliance rewards for the last event. I got a response that said I had 'left' my alliance, and that was the reason. daily event, form one game app reset to the next, changes every time to some random amount.
24 hours, 2 hours, 7 hours, 3 hours 1 hour, 5 minutes, 3 hours, 10 hours, its like random. and my daily kill count tward the event keeps getting reset to 0 so i wil neve reach that 800 mark, hell i only been able to hit the 100 mark twice today simply by chance that it hadnt reset again, i was fuller expecting ti to rest at 12 midnight EST, but nope, 12:00 came and went, now the timer shows 3 hours. and still at 101, in spite of the 2 dozen kills i just racked in. of 2 point hostiles

In the last two events I've not received the alliance rewards for the alliance I founded. I poked support and they're telling me that I left and rejoined my alliance on 4 separate occasions. I've never, not once, left the alliance I founded. I'm being screwed because the game is somehow thinking I'm leaving and rejoining.

Stonn gives a shitty 60kt increase over the ship without mining officers (20% of 300, the basic mining rate), in game text description of the officer says it should be over ship rate (745%*300 is 2325) which means 447kt (20%*2325).
With Helvia it gets extra 10% from bridge, so 30% of 300, 90kt on top of ship hence 2325kt
So mining officers are useless now 😩 and net-net we have a nerf.
But hey, for once we are given an implementation as announced 😂no bug here. Just doesn’t make sense does it?

maybe your on the reverse end of the shield bug, where someone attacks a miner the game thinks they attacked first and the miner's sheild drops, it would stand to reason the attacker if they had a shield would keep it if the game thinks they were not the agressor

My favorite thing is that after restarting the game every 10 minutes, after a dozen restarts the game chews through your battery life because the programmers didn't do their job right and the game continues to use processor power on instances you're no longer running. So you have to do a hard reboot to fix that.

It happens almost all the time running this procedure: on android smartphone, set the ship destination to another system (a selected place in the destination system), let the smartphone goes to sleep (set to 30s on my smartphone), when smartphone is awaken up, ship is on distortion with 0s remaining. I have to stop and re-start application to have the ship at destination. And sometimes destroyed when entering a faction where I am not reliable...

@ivory vortex i did a mining test, to compare what is stated on screen and what is actually mined. see the screenshot....lets say....the fix for the envoy worked perfectly....for the North Star you guys are about 10% off (the screen says it would mine 10% less compared what was actually mined). So i guess the NS isn't working properly with the health bonus and so on...

There has been in intermittent bug for some time that I think I have fine tuned the procedures to reproduce. I noticed that sometimes, when I enter a system and attack a ship, my ship ends up in warp again, then appears next to the target and attacks, and lastly gets locked in warp for an extra amount of time. I think I figured out that if you select the target while you are traveling to the system and upon entering you tap the attack button, this bug is seen. If you wait until you enter the system before you select the target, you don't see this problem.

depending on how they layouted and organized the network infrastructure with AWS, each connection from you creates at least 2 more connections on the server towards other resources
make it 1 more, still implies that each connection creates 2 concurrent connections
multiply that by the average amount of players connecting, multiply that by the amount of 'gameservers' running per instance, take tcp socket timeouts into consideration and do the math
if you use a single m4 instance on amazon, you're limited to around 112k simoustanously concurrent connections

My timed 4 hour reward boxes have bugged out twice in the last 24 hours. Click the green button, no reward and then i get an error saying this item has been removed or no longer available. But the timer sure as shit reset

and file a ticket with support, mentioning the time, asking to check if the logs show which rewards where given, if they where given etc
als tell them clearing localization and restart is not relevant to this issue, and mention your playerid for completeness

Just in the chat window, about to chat with yourself:
- Block yourself, clicking/tapping your name at title bar.
- It will throw an error. 'Confirm' button and then go back.
- Now you got back the 'Settings' button instead 'Chat' button.
- But... it works till the next time. Appearing again, your base in purple, readable name, and Chat button, instead Settings.
- Restart game, or block yourself. I've found no more methods to get again back the 'Settings' button.

I assigned more memory to mine ,because on my 1Gb ipad, I also get regulary crashes, since high memory players have less issues, I suspect the issue you have to be a memory leak
so it would not surprise me that if you set it to 1Gb, you can play a little longer

@mighty panther I know that they deploy 8 hours after their last deployment, the last time that my automatic shield deployed was around a week ago, I had a manual shield up until around an hour before I was attacked (I was under the impression that also reset the auto shield).

@vale grovesetting a shield does not autoreset the timer for the temporary shield. if you are sure the last time it was triggered a week ago, you need to contact ingame support, telling them that, they will verify it in their logs and probably recover the stolen goods.

Luckily I had nothing stolen, I was online (playing a different game) and I just checked notifications at the right time, the loss was the repair costs for ships that were destroyed (not that they will return that)

When playing through BlueStacks on PC, the game closes down after a few minutes (2-3) of active gameplay. No error msg given. This behaviour started after the recent server maintenance (europe). No such problems earlier. No problems on android phone or tablet

It would be nice if we could scan our own station in the way that we can scan other stations. We also get a better picture of how our defense of the station works. It is also useful to show what the power of defense of a turret is. Now it is extremely confusing how everything is added together to arrive at a total power of a base. It is also not understandable that, if all turrets are destroyed, there is still defense power at the station. After an attack on a station, in which all turrets are destroyed, defense power is still indicated. I don't think that's correct.
If my claim about the turrets is wrong, I would like to hear how it all works. I have already asked the question in different places but no one can give me a single answer.

I also report IOS random crash over low RAM (1Gb) units is worst since the last update. Game becomes unplayable at times.

Really annoying bug just found. In hostile faction space near a trained fighter, I clicked far away and go to move away from the fighter. Nothing happened, when I clicked any other location in the system instead of seeing "Go" in the green box I got a spinning wheel. Meant my ship was destroyed.

@ivory vortex ok this bug really pisses me off. I have been thinking that I wasn’t getting all my refined crystals added to inventory so I watched it carefully this morning. I refined 50k 2 star Crystals and got a batch of 15 uncommon, then 25 uncommon, then 35 uncommon. ONLY THE FIRST BATCH OF 15 uncommon was added to my inventory! Is this a known thing?
I’ve been grinding for days just Crystal, and I’ve seen good numbers on the refinery page but What’s added to inventor always seemed low. I’ve been doing 50k refineries for days

Yes, i certainly do behave friendly. I just accidentally left my alliance yesterday night and then copy-pasted a request for re-invite in private chat to quite a few different commodores of my alliance. Maybe the system considered this as spam?
But even after i had been re-invited into the alliance, i was still able to write.

I am not aware of any system put in place to consider multiple privates with the same contents as spam giving you a temp ban
all you can do in regards to that is contact support in order to find out if you are temp blocked or not
does the same issue occur in alliance chat ? or is it limited to GC ?

I seem to frequently have problems with copy/paste features while playing in Bluestacks. I think it's just the app because in the bluestacks main desktop, I can take text that I copied from Notepad and paste it into the search window, but that same text won't paste into a text box in STFC app. The copy from a text box field works find because I can paste that back into Notepad, but when I copy new text from notepad, the old text that I copied from the game is what continues to paste in the game even though the new text will still paste into notepad and the bluestacks main desktop search field.
In this photo, I am attempting to paste "Test2" but I still get "Test" instead.

So I'm on last night. I pop a 24hr shield and log.
Then this morning it tells me not an hour later my Station got hit and I lose all my RSS. And here's the thing - I had my phone on AFTER I logged with notification on.
I go on this morning and NO BATTLE LOGS AT ALL. But hey, my 24 shield is gone too! And all my RSS! So not only do I have no record of the attack I have a destroyed station and no RSS and no idea what happened at all! Anyone want to help me out here?

I used a shield. I logged after using it. It shows the shield not in my inventory. And now I'm looking at ONE battle log from last night done BEFORE I logged out. And no RSS.
So what it looks like happened is I got hit through my 24 hr shield and all my RSS taken, my station blown up - by some invisible person. And it happened just as the update went through. Again.

@woeful scroll Hard limits like this are meant to ensure the game remains playable for those who are already in the system. We managed to get a swarm like this in one system to form a heart for one of our players and I was amazed at how many ships we could get in there. Limits like this help to ensure the server that hosts this system can continue to respond to each player in the system.
@native oyster Re: DPS settings, changing this doesn't fix the clipboard-paste problem. I've tried shutting down Bluestacks (all instances and the instance manager) and it didn't fix it either. I noticed in the Task Manager a "Bluestacks Server Interface" was still running. I stopped this and restarted Bluestacks but that didn't fix the paste issue either. As you can see here, I can paste text directly into a BS search field on the home screen, just not into the text field in game chat (any of them).

This is the result of tap and hold. Normally you should get a menu to copy/paste something, but it doesn't see the contents of the clipboard.
I'm gonna try reinstalling the app. Might be a permission issue that needs to be updated.

I used to be able to paste into the game just fine. That is how I get those special characters in there to refer to tags like SÕL, DSGÆ, RÖGÉ, KÍLL
I use the Windows Character Map.
I can look into other keyboard apps, but that probably won't have any effect on the clipboard pasting. Maybe give me better access to those characters or emoticons like some people are using.
I think they're for on screen keyboards only. I type directly from my laptop keyboard.
Still, Bluestacks advertises this game and that is how I found it. I shouldn't have to install any other app to play it correctly.
