So 2024 was supposed to be a year of fixing the game and quality over quantity, we have experienced exactly the opposite. 2025 is quickly compounding on what was already broken. I for one will not spend one more penny on this game until they stop, fix what we already have. We should not have to reload our games 3 to 10 times an hours to maintain a mid level of performance. There needs to be additional filters in the officer selection menu. Archive function in the ever expanding item inventory, for which 90% of the items are obsolete. Stop releasing events for out of date hostiles that force the higher level players to grind exorbitant amounts to clear events that are mostly useless to us. The only half good thing from last year is the alliance tournaments, but they really need an overhaul, again events geared towards outdated hostiles. Missions not updating when people start or refresh, also add more real scoring events that don’t require spending 100 buck. Enough of my soap box, fix the game or no more money.

If you select Repair now, you should see that the ship is not actually destroyed. But you are right, this is a very annoying bug.

multiple ships getting stuck in warp, start attack on a hostile and find out it is no longer there. which then releases stuck hostiles to move again, use tokens to go to xinidi aquatic and ship never shows but instead "Locate" shows it where is used to be and "Move" recalls it to that system where it started from. So net is a loss of a token. So much lag. Going to go do something else and try again later.

Yes it took me awhile to figure the whole war room out since i was on a temporary break from the game when it was introduced.

Bug - PC Client is slow and sluggish, screens take 15 to 20 seconds to load, ships warping sit at 00:00 warp time when back, and everything feels like your are playing in concrete.

Solution - restart the client and take of hardware acceleration. Game then performs properly. Tested it again by turning on hardware acceleration, and it goes back to hot garbage. Take it off...smooth sailing.

iOS, and no it’s not on my end as all my other apps/games/programs are working perfectly fine with whatever device i’m using. It’s solely STFC which is having issues.

The Black Screen of "PREPARING" - many are reporting this!

Always appear when entering gifts, ress, officers, ata, etc and then you want to go back out.

Appears half the times you go into events and scroll around and bit and then want to go back out.

Appears some times when entering refinery and scroll around in the different tabs and then want to go back out

Net result: I restart game A LOT!

This lovely "feature" has been around since the update that was supposed to improve performance (reduce time to load screens etc) near the end of last year.

Also, not a bug but nerfing the impulse speed is absolutely crushing for a f2p player fighting to try and make arena somewhat manageable

New M4 MacBook here and the game is crashing when run via the launcher. I've heard that the game crashing on newer Macs was a known issue, but I had hoped that it had been fixed.

Seeing that it was asking me to install Rosetta, I poked around a bit in Discord search here and found this message that the game ran correctly as ARM when launched directly: #👾-bug-reporting message

I can't be the first person to note this, but ya know, all the "bug bash" work Scopely went to (https://startrekfleetcommand.com/news/behind-the-scenes-bug-bash-week-year-of-hell-part-2/), including a whole section on UI/UX fixes, I'm surprised they didn't fix the bug where when you change context windows on mobile (i.e., going into your station) it resets your star system zoom view almost all the way in.... that is like my #1 annoyance about playing the game on mobile.

(I wouldn't mind if they'd also fixed the issue where the app overrides the "rotate screen" lock function on Android either, so that you can keep your phone level settings locked to portrait but still rotate the screen for chat in-game on mobile. This feature definitely is part of Google's API, and did work on STFC mobile at one point, but with one of the upgrades they just got rid of it, at least as applies to my Android/Samsung combo.)

Sometimes, a ship will not "return" to the station, even though the warp timer reads 00m 00s (See Ship C in this example). The only way to "fix" it is to restart the game.

Not only when returning, also when sending to a system, starts of with a correct timer and when changing screens the timer stops at 00 while in warp... after restart the ship is docked and not on its way....
So they fixed a lot of bugs, but immediately introduce new bugs, so they can keep busy

Is Incursions running perhaps? If you are in territory or a level 20+ system shields will go down automatically for the duration of Incursions.

If you go into your events, and one of them is really colorful and has your server vs another and says 'Incursions' then incursions are happening. If you see other players traveling through your system that have red hexagons around them, there is an incursion going on. If you are in a lvl 20+ system and for some reason you can't shield or your shield isn't working, you might be in incursions. If you see players chatting in global chat, and they have a different server listed by their name, you might be in incursions.

January 31st Start Time 8am PST was your incursions start time. So, change that to your time zone. That is when it starts and it goes for 24 hrs. I forget what happens after incursions with a peace shield if you are in a 20+ system. Not sure if it stays or not, but you definitely can be hit during the incursions.

during the incursion the shield won't be present, but the timer continues ticking and if it would last past incursions (or till when you moved to a low enough level system), it'll re-appear

Incursions has been running on your server between <t:1738339200:f> and <t:1738425600:f> (should display the timestamps for your time zone.)

If you were stationed a level 20+ system or in Territory, your shields will have dropped automatically. You can check the level yourself, when you are in your home system, in the bottom right it will say the name of the system you are stationed in and its level.

Shields are not working correctly. I placed a 8-hour shield up at 8:30 a.m. est. It fell at 9:30 a.m. EST on its own. So I was rated for 3 trillion in resources as part of incursions preparation. They should not run incursions unless they can get shields to work correctly

bug : in de android app, when i collect officers, i sometimes can collect again (have 80 point, i doe th e60points collect, then i can do de 20points collect from the "you got these"-screen. that recollect always times out. But right after the time out, the bounty screen shows up.
i've had it with another screen too, but can't recall which one, but is was also an "exchange creds for stuff"-screen like the officers.

Every morning I collect my Mission Key in the web store first, and then I open the game. Sometime during that first minute or two the game tries to recognize receiving the mission key. It just goes to a black screen and locks up every morning.

Sometimes when going to the Away Teams tab it shows that I need to build the Away Teams building.

The chat text overlaps the OK text at the end of the line.

That says offence are you attacking on enemy server ? The other events you get points regardless of server. But for offence have to be on enemy server and it doesn’t matter what ship your using it’s the ship their using you have to kill or lose against

Since I finished this event yesterday, I’ve had this pop-up message about every 20 minutes. It doesn’t seem to be giving me anything, but still a bother. I’ve done the normal things: restart, clear localizations, restart the device, change devices. But the problem persists.

When using my iPhone, the private messages list deletes. I usually notice this after a couple hours. I have to search for the players name and when I pull it up, the history of the chat is still there. The private chat will remain on the list for several hours but then disappears again. When playing on a laptop, the private chat list is there, some even showing unread messages.

So sounds like the authentication token expired on the main account, support can usually sort that out. Having a scopely ID and logging back in also fixes that.

Progressing through the tutorial and logging back in with your credentials is usually all it takes, assuming you have a scopely ID.

If that doesn't work, have to wait for support to sort it, having the playerID will make it easier

For some reason the chat sidebar worked for me using the ']' hotkey, but not by actually clicking it. Might be a temp workaround until the fix all the new bugs with the last fixes.

Also can confirm that chat no longer is available on the side rail for PC. After attempting to open, the chat disappears and I can not switch channels. Have to close and reopen in max view, which is not ideal.

Before update Krenim time weapon had 89/78 shards waiting for artifact gallery building to be upgraded to 51 and Janeway's watch at 15 shards. And after updating they switched and now I have the watch at 89 and time weapon at 15 and I could actually unlock the artifact.
And every time I buy Krenim time weapon artifact from DTI faction store the shards are going to the watch
