They don't need to test things, that would require hiring someone that understood both testing procedures and the game. It's easier to simply let the player base bash against it - find the bugs, then (maybe) fix them and offer compensation to the players. Much less cost!!

because you're not, one person can claim it, but then it's theirs to complete and it's removed from the pool so someone else can't choose it. IF it's an armada one, many can support, but you have to start x amount of armadas to complete. and you having it active doesn't prevent anyone else from having another mission to spend x or gain y active

-First task:
It reset 3 times during the process of attempting to complete it, both in task selection and progress.
Finally completed however was unable to claim the take reward, but showed up on the linked SMS as completed and the selection advanced.

-Second task:
Selected the epic Borg solo armada, beat the armada, saw the splash notification and the SMS showed a second completed task however progress is now stuck as it does show as completed, won’t let me select a new task or reroll.

Attempted another epic solo to see if it would advance things. No success.
Cleared cache, reboooted game, no luck

-Third Task:
Unable to start because second task is stuck

Bug where buffs can make your ship look destroyed when I'm fact it isn't. Not 100% repro, but I've had this happen a few time. (Android - pixel 7 pro)

Going for Dominion Armada, in bring 3 ships to attack, and two to buffs my ship. One has to be the defiant, the second can be anything (Cerritos or titan.

Steps:

1. Start a Dominion Armada, rarity doesn't matter.
2. Have your 3 attacking ship join the Armada.
3. Buff your weakest ship with both your defiant and second support ship.
4. Complete the solo Armada (none of my ship is destroyed)
5. Wait for the defiants's buff to expire ( the other buff should still be active.
6. Repeat step #2.
7. have the defiant buff the weakest ship again (your weakest ship has now 2 buffs)

At this point, you'll notice that the weakest ship that you just buffed with the defiant is shown as being destroyed, while in fact, it isn't. After your done panicking, clicking repair fixes the issue. The ship now shows its proper health level

Many ship buffs seem to trigger this Schrödinger ship condition, not just Defiant - I had someone sting my autogrinder this morning and it kept showing up dead while still sitting in the system and being attacked by bounty hunters.

Alliance tournament tasks are not fit for purpose. I started 2 (ones that I could do) but the first one disappeared when I started the second one. Also, when I completed the second one the first one didn’t reappear.. but it still reported 2/3 attempts .. I started a third and it said that would cancel the first one..but guess what..it didn’t ..
The morale of this story : Scopely will always get it wrong

My support ticket to get my alliance task was closed telling me they sent a comp chest and to be careful. I purchased a pack to complete my alliance task, I did not receive credit for my task, was told to try again, and essentially was dismissed. I did not choose to do any other tasks because of the fear of not getting credited. So now I can freely choose not to spend any more money in the game

I ASSUME I can only get 2 "rewards" per day, but the counter at the top does NOT reflex a remaining balance of reward chips.. I just started a task "Defeat 50 Texas-class Sentries" on my iPad. Now I defeated at least 20 of them, but the counter won't go up.
I switched to my Mac and there it doesn't even show the task. Back on the iPad, the task is still showing, but no progress.

I did the same task earlier this day and back then it worked like expected.

Also, I can't re-roll on any device. After the confirmation dialogue, nothing happens.

There was a bug where if someone picked the same one as you at the same time, only one of you actually gets to do it and gets credit, while the other one gets frozen.

i did my 1st daily attempt yesterday and the 2nd daily attempt today. when i tryed to do the 3rd daily attempt. i was not able to start it.

looking in alliance tasks it tells me that i had readly done 3/3 of daily attempt which is wrong.

in member scores it shows that i have only done 1 daily attempt. it has not even counted the 2nd daily attempt which i finished.

RE: Alliance Competition Day Two

-First task:
Selected the 4,000 point “Replicator Ration” Task, spend some banked replicator rations and checked each time to make sure it was tracking properly and it did.
Completed the event and collected the reward successfully (first time I was able to, all failed yesterday).

Then I noticed even though the points counted for the Alliance Event the linked SMS didn’t register the completion, leaving me at 2 point, same as yesterday.
Rebooted app, score did not update.

Day One summary:
Able to score on 1 task, unable to claim rewards for it however, 2nd task counted for SMS but bugged out and was unable to claim reward or advance to 3rd task)

Same issue as many above—started a task, didn’t activate. Went out and back in as the in-game message suggested, and it was active! It was for probes so i went to kill some but they weren’t registering for the task… checked again and it was no longer active but had taken my attempt. So another wasted attempt… just like yesterday. Yeah so I picked up the Defeat 10 Rare FKR Armada task this morning, had actually completed 3 that other alliance members started and it tallied correctly. Then after that, I started 3 of my own but they did NOT count toward my tally. Figuring it was just a reset glitch I restarted my client (yes I did update it this morning as well) and the task was completely disappeared, I did NOT get any points for it, and it used up one of my 3 attempts for today. 1600 points lost and we're in the top 3% so that has an effect on overall placement and scoring. This needs to be fixed please and thank you. S27 here.

Since the tournament launch and on IOS, switching store tabs within Factions does not appear to update unless you exit and re-enter the Factions. Same type of issue is happening with all of the tabs in the Alliance Tournaments and (often) the tabs within the Refinery.

On the PC client, it shows 3/10 complete, on my Iphone, 9/10 complete.

Never gave me the button to collect my reward.

Now, I can't start another task. It keeps telling me to confirm I want to replace my current task. Even when I hit "CONFIRM", it doesn't start the new task. Multiple people have posted about this and we have not heard a peep about what is being done. This is screwing a LOT of folks out fo rewards and event points.

RE: Alliance Competition Day Two

** -First task:**
Selected the 4,000 point “Replicator Ration” Task, spent some banked replicator rations and checked each time to make sure it was tracking properly and it did.
Completed the event and collected the reward successfully (first time I was able to, all failed yesterday).

Then I noticed even though the points counted for the Alliance Event the linked SMS didn’t register the completion, leaving me at 2 point, same as yesterday.
Rebooted app, score did not update.

-Second Task:
Selected the 10k reward 110,000 syndicate event, exited menus, rebooted app to verify.
Completed the whole “What is its motivation - SMS” for a total of 44,950 Syndicate XP, Pulled Syndicate Daily, etc and then checked the status of the Alliance Task.
NONE of it counted.
Rebooted app, waited a couple minutes, and it didn’t update.
Rerolled the 10k Syndicate event and selected a 2k Q Trial Emblem of Assessment trial I was able to complete.

Completion Scored for the SMS, at 3/7.

I’m not the first to run into an event that lists the requirement as “acquire” a resource to discover it only counts if you PURCHASE said item, there are reports of other resources, Armada Starts, etc, all having the same results.

Honestly this feels a bit “shady” and I’d think there would likely be less blowback / hate from the event if you clearly renamed the ”acquire” to purchase but that’s my two cents.

This Alliance Tournament event did not improve a bit since yesterday.
I was able to do one task properly (Shoot hirogens), yay.
Second attempt, spend Ultra Recruit tokens. I tried to take it, it does not become green, I tried it again, it says 2/3 attempts. OK, I spent it, nothing happened. Az every step I restarted the game, nothing changed. So, no thanks.
The tasks often change their place when we try to just read them. Sometimes we cannot take a task, or it does not show. Some tasks does not count points.
And something that is not logical at all: this warning message comes up every time, even when I try to take the first task of the day.
So I am not able to know based on this warning if I actually HAVE an active task, or not.
This event does not look ready at all to go live.

I just had 9 in a row deaths on Xindi Aquatics when i have been killing them easily with an occasional 1 or 2 round 1 deaths then i would get a kill.
