Are Armada's broken since the update ? Just done a 35 Epic Eclipse and I didnt see what happened when countdown hit 0 but my ship isnt damaged, and no armada at all showing in battle log. Yet its took my armada directives.

as a commodore, when you click on the galaxy view you are taken to where the Alliance Starbase (ASB) is deployed. Example #1, hit system view - my starbase view is shown, hit galaxy view and you jumped to the where the ASB is deployed. Example #2, view a random system, switch to system view you jump to where the ASB is deployed. This is using the PC client

Secondly hit locate ship which is docked in my Starbase, and I am jumped to where the ASB is deployed. PC client

Yesterday the game completely kicked me out. Forced me to do tutorial from level 1. Luckily I was able to log back in after the tutorial. Red icons everywhere. Everything reset.

This morning, I can't see any officer after letter T, when I sort by name. Was trying to put Yuki & Zhou on bridge. Had to do sort via strength and look for them that way.

Feels like these developers put bugs on purpose, so they stay employed. Kinda like how some mechanics never fully fix your car, so they can keep charging you for ongoing repairs.

Major "Bug" report:

What's "player grade or below", scopely? It is a term none of us have ever seen in-game before. If you mean ops level, then state that in the documentation, don't dream up new ways of saying the same 💩 - highly confusing!

Pick a term (player's system or "system A") and stick with it throughout the documentation!

Then, this spacial rift thing requires those using the rift to have a special mat/currency, too - you FAIL (purposefully, i presume) to mention that in the documentation, which costs our guy what's needed cuz we're forced into testing (cuz...you don't provide ALL the details, nor the correct, or clear details)

I'm not sure if others are seeing this, but after clearing cache and updating the app multiple times, new arc, etc you'd think it'd go away. But no, I'm still seeing it:

1. leave game for a while. 20m or more seems to do the trick. app can be running (but locks, so have to restart). rebooting the phone recreates this too.

2. observe game loading slowly, pausing on progress meter for 20-30s

3. upon finally loading, observe:

   • all archived missions are unarchived via the 1000 messages one must dismiss to do anything in the game
   • bookmarks are zeroed out, nothing remains!

4. DO NOT DO THIS: if you save even one bookmark to the zeroed list, you've just over-written your bookmarks with the list of 1 item

5. "DO" DO THIS: swipe game away, exit, and relaunch

6. observe the game loading faster, pausing briefly and coming up

7. observe missions are archived as expected and bookmarks are present and accounted for

My gut says this is a timeout. If the game can't load the bookmarks and list of missions that are archived (probably other bits too), then it gives up and presents the user with a zeroed list of bookmarks and no archived missions. When the game loads normally, of course it presents them properly.

Sadly, I did step 5 and lost a whole treasure trove of mission planets to revisit.

This to my memory has been going on for over a month, give or take.

It has, in the past week, gotten really bad, where a month ago it was mostly not happening, now it is about every time I come back after some amount of idle time not in game I have to load it 2x. Very annoying when I know I just need to reset a miner etc.

Android in case it matters, willing to provide more info or debugging this if I can tease more intel out of this very persistent recurring frustrating problem.

Scopely needs to comp any player that owns this. This artifact has been an EPIC disaster. Nothing with it has worked correctly since its release. You might but what shows for me for that part is the 4* one which I don’t need for my voyager is that tier and it says I need 5* . So if it’s the case on that I should be seeing the deal for the 5* part not the 4*. That was my point!

My voyager said at ops lvl 45 up grade to ops lvl 46 to up grade. I upgraded to lvl 46 now it says get coaxial drive 5* from refinery. Refinery only shows the 4*. Now I’m being told can’t do it tell lvl 51? Talk about inconsistency

As you can see I am supposed to be able to get the 5* drive not this 4* drive which I already have a spare of. I’m lvl 46 ops which is the required ops lvl for it it says to claim here in the refinery but only one is this 4* one it never changed here

But the deal for the 5* part, and indeed a T8 Voyager requires 51+, until then the refinery shows you infinitely redeemable 4* drive until you reach Ops 51

Yet ships says to claim it in refinery now, which should show the 5* telling me I have to wait tell ops 51 which would be an oh fudge type of thing in stead of a Big inconvenient inconsistencies b s. My point is my voyager is t7 I need the 5* part , the 4* part should no longer be shown it should at least show me the 5* telling me the lvl discrepancy so that I just go oh fudge oh well instead of having to complain about why I can’t get something that the ship says I can . You can avoid half the headaches by being consistent

Fix this were it at least shows the 5* version that tells the lvl of ops required and not leaving it at the 4* version that no one with a t7 voyager with only one part needed sees the wrong part and not the correct lvl of ops needed

Hello there seems to be a very large bug in the game where armadas, the primary group element are broken. If the host has low level officers and I'm using the same officers it sets my officers to their level rendering all the work I've done to be able to have strong officers moot.
It feels really bad that if i join an armada that i can solo kill easily and let them know i can kill then we get slaughtered wasting their directives etc just coz my officers got downgraded to being useless.
The fact that we lose on an armada with a full team that i can kill solo makes me really not interested in even joining group armadas.
This is an awful bug and needs fixing
Here are 2 examples of the exact same team just 2 different hosts.

I do understand that it goes both ways and that if the host has strong officers everyone gets that level of officer but this just means i can't use the officers I've worked hard and paid good money for outside of hosting or doing solos.
Once again this makes the primary group activity in the game. The armadas feel really bad.

As a ship levels up while its fighting hostiles etc, the bar moves along and the numbers on the right update, however the actual level of the ship does not, this should be level 2 but is only level 1

One of the reasons I know Scopely doesn’t care about bugs is they use Bugsnag in their code to automatically capture errors and crashes etc and so they have the software to tell them what’s wrong and allow their devs to debug they just clearly aren’t investing much energy into bug fixing and instead keep focusing on new feature development.

Snw la’an was a much bigger discrepancy, that has long been fixed. This is some sort of rounding issue and can happen even without any cargo boost officers.

That's an inherent problem in software development though if you have the wrong people in product management/ownership, or these people getting massive pressure from their management to deliver features features features.
I have yet to see a developer that doesn't want to deliver quality code, but if the system is rigged against it, there is no shot.

On a mobile phone device, the 'Event Progress' message that can also be every hostile hit, attack incoming etc.. This banner message blocks the ship type when you select a ship also the faction Rep information and the refinery button and information. Often these message get backed up and take a long time time to stop, or if you have one ship autogrinding, can't see the information you need to play the game,.... Was using a Buff to kill level 49 transports but wanted to just hit the non-heavy ones but could not see this information. Very annoying.

If you have any reds cued up and any other player then kills a red in system the cue skips 1 cued hostile to the next in cue….making the cueing pointless especially in a busy system such as the jemhidar lvl 48 system where everyone is running cubes…. 3 reds killed by other players even if they aren’t part of your cue list wipes out your entire cue @slate wind

I was having an issue with training field yesterday where I had a lot of completed milestones but couldn't claim rewards...or the officer shards at the top of it...so I figured reinstalling the game might correct the bug.....yeah no...I was way off....now the game won't finish loading at all and sticks at the all black STFC logo screen...never goes into game after that?

Are there any plans to fix the Kir’Shara? $100 is a lot to pay for something that barely works with a single ship and painful with multiple ships in the same system! It’s a complete liability during wave defense.
It randomly skips a selected ship. Gets stuck on one. Causes the 2nd ship to cancel its commands. And we can’t even turn it off and not use it.

It this how torres piercing ability supposed to work? Assuming you take damage every round (which I did vs a swarm trial). Torres officer ability activated after each hit received and bc the ability is cumulative I reached max piercing in round 1 after receiving 1 hit. However that piercing didn’t stay at max despite taking damage every round. It looks like despite being cumulative. That accumulation doesn’t carry past 1 round of combat. So the cumulative piercing resets after each round. That diminishes the value of it being cumulative.

Not a bug, it depends on the tier of your ship. If it’s maxed or ops locked parts are removed. For me mantis parts no longer appear as it’s hit an ops locked tier. Nanopropes no longer appear for me either as my tailos hit an ops locked tier. It makes no sense but it’s not a bug as been like this for years

Ops level matters in that it gets smaller and smaller. For me a 25% exo would only reduce time by a bit under 3%. For you looks like it’s about 5.3% or so. For Freddy it’s a bit over 7% if he had a 25% exo. Sub one day builds I think would be displayed as hours and minutes so if you’re just talking about visible differences those should show up anyway.

A couple of nights ago. At around 11:00pm central I set 12 hour shields. At around 3:00am someone hit my base and got loot and destroyed one docked ship, and base damaged. Discovered this when I logged back in at 7:00am. Sheilds showed that they were still going to be active untill 11:00am.

I pm'ed the hitter and he said that on his screen the sheilds aren't showing active. He said that he had same issue with his base being raided.

It’s a waste of resources you slow your progression a lot if you ever use this. It is random. Sometimes I can play 15/20 minutes or only 5 minutes till the performance is too bad.

I think it depends on the amount of opened and closed menus. The game basis hasn‘t any garbage collection to free memory.

Garbage collection = a program deletes unused objects from memory

STFC hasn’t any garbage collection or only very minimal. After some minutes of playing you filled up your meteors and the game begins to use other memory like the swap space on the flashdrive/ssd of the mobile device. And that is in every case much slower and then you comes to point where the swap memory is full and the game crash.

It is a 0.81% chance, based on the 30% odds, to have 4 failures in a row. A content creator reported 7 losses in a row (.021% chance). Maybe it is incorrect numbers from Scopley, or maybe not.

But if this is what to look forward to on the NX-01, it's definitely a poorly designed hostile/loop for the players. So maybe this should be moved to general feedback instead.

Stalling at 35% back then was related to VPN use. It doesn't seem to have an identifiable cause for those recently affected, but maybe it would help to look in that direction.

I just checked the loading of the game using VPN, it worked, but it’s not convenient, I have 2 different mobile operators on my phone, everything was fine, but since yesterday one operator loading is fine, the second operator without VPN stops at 35% 🤔🤷, I remember There was such a problem about a year ago, then there was no downloading through VPN 🤔🤔

I am at the point of having to give up playing the game that I love and spent thousands on.

What started for some as irritating blue rings in the Voyager systems, triggered a severe migraine attack that lasted several days, including time off work. Since then, I have been reporting the various flashing screen issues—the lines when you upgrade an artefact, the continuing blue rings, and the recent game crash on flashing screen when trying to switch crews (repeatedly).

After a week of incidents, I have been unable to even complete my events this weekend.
My alliance is suffering from the absence of their leader
I can’t see the screen because of the visual disturbances associated with the current migraine.

Scopely’s response is “we’ve reported it to the technical team” followed by “we haven’t heard from you, so assume the issue is resolved and closing the post”.

I really just want to play the game safely, as I used to be able to for about 8 months.
Without a game trying to kill me in real life.
I would even pay for a “no flashing” Prime.

Alternatively I’d like to get the small fortune I spent back.

Dear Scopely, pls ask one of ur quality control officer to open ur amazing game via iPad and try to finish daylies, do some research, change crew or swap ship… I’m sure, they will find it very exited. In case they are very busy, I will drop u some list of my morning activities:
Waking up - restart game, if I forgot to force close it in the evening
Repair Monaveen, swap ship - restart game
Change crew to Hostile crew - restart game
If any research done - finish it and restart game, as u won’t be able to come back base
Want to do armada - no problem, swap ship, restart, change crew, restart… is that so easy
Don’t forget about random freeze at any point of window change
What ever u start wave, it will be disconnect before u kill first enemy
Faction store no optimized, as u need to scroll like 30sec to get bottom

Pls spend some time for iOS optimization… do not add new content, pls make sure that old one is working properly

Could you be specific about which devices you’re using, I believe such information is useful at times. I, for one, have very few issues on my iPad, although more recently i do get the old “preparing” and “lockup” after a while, never used to get that.

Its absolutely trash. Worst part is that Scopely has offered ZERO compensation to players that have invested cash in an item that does NOT work as advertised. Its really bad when they have to offer a disable option. Clearly acknowledging their deficiency, but again ZERO compensation for people that bought this TRASH.

Agreed. I’ve only been playing over the weekend and the freezes are insane. I can’t go 20 minutes with it freezing between screens. You can see here it’s just the screen. All the interface is missing. Making me think about not playing this game further.. please fix this!!!!!
