Gotta love how scopley wants everyone to spend money yet they can’t even get their act together and fix the game and put out things that doesn’t break it in he first place while expecting people going to keep sticking around and spending on it. I’ve spent in the 5yrs around $2k on it mostly on bp $20 and around $500 on resource packs and that’s it. Yet with all the bugs and glitches and break downs I actually pretty much stopped spending money all together on this .

Just a quick list that everyone has posted:
-auto zoom. game will auto zoom and lock
-issues getting from screen to screen to the point of lock
-continued wave issues (same as before)
-when changing ships, the buttons below disappear
-chat box issues (been years). Sometimes chat box is missing (oh darn). Other times, the keyboard won't come up or it crashes.
-Occasional stuck ships in battle. (usually remedied by moving another ship)
-Laggy warp. Am I moving or not? This is beyond the visuals of the ship moving along the line. This is more like, zzzzzzzzz for minutes and then bam, i'm 50 seconds from destination where it was was a 90 second jaunt. But yes, there are times where it sez my ship is in x place even tho I'm 12 mins into the warp path

realta has less then warp 26 required to go to even a level 1 system anywhere in the galaxy so the realta event is almost useless unless you move your base to a low level system just to do the attacks, perhaps the devs need to adjust the warp requirements

If you go to "Full Screen Mode" in your STFC game on macOS 14.2 you will get control of the screen. It's not ideal, but does work.

Command "F" or click on "Window" from the menubar and select Full Screen to get there. The menu will come up eventually.

@umbral nexus It has been said that when it shows "defeat 9/10" after you cleared 10 waves that it was a visual bug and you were being credited fully for your wave 10 clear. This does not appear to always be the case.

Screenshot is before and after two 10 wave clears, but I didn't recieve credits for that. I received credits for a 9 wave clear and a 10 wave clear, instead of two 10 wave clears

Thanks for getting involved Lewb, the two photos I attached, I think give a great overview.
I understand from Galaxy Chat support have multiple reports have been sent, but I only know of 2 responses, generally to manually add the Excomp and manually completed the Field Training.
The Daily Goal Photo - shows the position of many, many players you can complete all the tasks but are not able to compete the trail and get their loyalty badge (amongst other things), Other players like me that have pushed their ops level cant complete very much in the path. So the "easy" missing ones are a bit of a pain.
The Other photo is my email to support, which just lists the things that are missing.
I will will speak to the rest of the players and get a simplified list, for you.

• Building Chest is missing
• Research Chest is missing
• Alliance Helps Chest is missing
  ! Being unable to complete the above and not being being able to obtain Loyalty Badge, Shields amongst other rewards on a daily basis.

Notes: Some players are reporting:
< That while field training has been manually completed by support they don't believe that the rewards were given.
< That while Excomp Token was manually provided by support, others arriving at OPS16 are still reporting the same problem.
< That some players that transferred were caught in an incursions loop and missed 8 days of battle pass due to being unable to incomplete battlepass events (I have asked players to raise a separate support ticket for these, but I thought it worthy of a mention).
< We have a larger than expected number of "dead" unclickable ships through the galaxy. Not sure if this is a server bug or a game bug, but I thought it worthy of a mention

When I launch the game, the first thing that happens is a mission in progress has to tell me some stuff. The rest of the screen is greyed out and I cannot get past this. Clicking does nothing. This was 100 chest redeemed. I was getting roughly a 20% chest drop rate (so I killed nearly 500ish ships). All ships were lvl50-51 that were killed (romulan) and I got 1..... count it 1... pilum bp.... The rate needs to be adjusted... And the lower few bp's need to NOT drop on lvl 50+ ships.... Come on scopley. Do better

STFC is unplayable on iOS : it doesn’t work regardless of the time of day it is.

I spend more time looking at the load up screen (30 seconds nowadays) then actual game play, this is due to how many times I get chucked out :

1. Lucky if I get 3 minutes doing anything.

2. Amazed if I can kill 10 Hostiles per session

3. A search through Events screens and my memory is filled and booted out.

All the above are the ABSOLUTE basic mechanics of STFC.

Because of the constant crashing, inability to play the game ( a mobile game ) because you spend more time in the loading screen than playing the game, the constant adding of new things when the old ones don’t work, I.e: you added waves defence but you can’t actually do that to it’s full potential because guess what….. yes the game crashes and by the time it loads back up the wave is long gone .

Appears the lack of hostiles to summon with Voyager is back again. Was able to summon 1 Species 8472 ship in FSEP-001, and now no matter what I do, cannot summon another as there are no more to summon.

Because you don't summon 8472 in FSEP systems as they are a standard roaming hostile there. FSEP summoning only summons a Silverblood Voyager which is hard to summon

@umbral nexus I’m an iOS player in the EU playing on an iPad. I’ve just done a wave defence which we got to wave 4 on. During that time the game closed on me 5 times! No errors come up the game simply closes and it’s not just on the wave defence it happens over and over when playing any of the content. There doesn’t even seem to be an acknowledgment that this is happening i keep raising tickets and get no reply, we’re allowed a 20Mb video with the ticket that’s barely 4 seconds of screen record how can anything be fixed if we can’t even show you the problem. It’s getting to the point I’m being forced out of the game wasting the time and money I’ve put into the game so why don’t I deserve a refund for all the money I’ve put into this game as how is not a breach of service. I know you can’t magic a fix but some acknowledgement that there is an issue some feeling that the issue is being addressed anything but unanswered tickets. This is game breaking and should be the absolute highest priority.

Pretty funny and messed up. I experienced bugs all the time, have filed hundreds of bug reports and I'm not sure if my scoring was right or not - I didn't check it. I didn't get a comp chest for the scoring bug but I'm told it's as large (48k) as winning the event (which I certainly didn't do).

Yes. I went from a 3MB memory device that crashed constantly - as in several times a minute - to a 4MB device. The game rarely crashes now, but frequently thinks I'm quitting when I'm not and also takes 20 to 40 seconds to switch views. So it's fine if I am hunting hostels in the same location but switching to sending a text might take 40 seconds. The exception to this is wave defense which crashes or thinks I'm quitting

picard and data both say "non-armada"; the correlation with hull breach makes me think you're asking about the interceptor artifact? for those to apply, hull breach (or burning or morale, depending on the ship type) has to be present at the start of the round immediately after that ship does its officer abilities.
Since your screenshot indicates the hull breach coming from torres (who only lasts 1 round) on an augur (which is presumably smaller than a kelvin), odds are the augur was later in the armada order & hull breach was never present at the start of a round.

yeah, if his abilities activate after yours do, that means they activate after your ship checked if the target had a hull breach for the artifact. if he had lorca instead of torres, for example, you'd at least get the 2nd round of lorca out of it each time (since it carries into the next round), but with torres only being 1 round that's just not gonna work. been that way since the artifacts came out :/

In the web store when I clicked on the 20$ BP it took me to a page that simply asked for my payment method and when I said PayPal it processed without ever showing me that it had selected a random rss pack way farther down than I had ever scrolled (I still don't know which one bc it's not listed on my receipt). the point isnt that they can fix it... its that they shouldnt have to... do the math before hand... and if scopely doesn't want to do hard math, then make every BP day give out the exact same reward towards the overall goal (like 10K every day) and adjust the BP to require us to do 240K for the entire event (20 days = 200K) with the 4 days of overflow (=40K)

Contacting CS is the correct way of getting it fixed. The problem is new, it broke during the most recent patch from what I see, and their bug fix cadence is long. I'd check back after every patch to see if it's fixed, and would not expect a fix to appear any sooner than that.

It wasn't possible for anyone to know they would be short ahead of time until the last day, when they ran an event that was short. The same situation exists today. They can make it, or they can fail. But the path they are walking can be either until we see what happens in 15m.

There's probably a psychological trick involved, maybe obfuscating income generates more FOMO or something. Largely doesn't matter. It's clear that the intention is give us enough pts for perfect participation to finish the overflow. They've never failed in this regard except once, and even then, they fixed it the same day.

Worrying about it, especially when there isn't enough information to clearly deduce they are on the path to failure, is a waste of time. Let them show us what they have, and then we can decide.

Been two weeks since Apple released Sonoma 14.2 and killed STFC's ability to work as a windowed app, and so far dead silence from Scopely support on the issue. Only way to play is to launch the game in full screen mode and navigate to the desktop and other apps using Spaces, which is...less than optimal when you need to multitask while you're playing.
