Very unfortunate, I am guessing they were trying to fix the lag issue from earlier and somewhere along the lines something went haywire. I had such a great lead for the SLB but haven't been able to get on. Don't mean to sound selfish, but at least when I got on after the update I was able to stay connected and play

Playing on PC. About an hour and a half ago, the Meridian I had forbidden tech equipped on stopped being able to mine after mining with the tech just fine. (Tetracyanate 622). I'd click on a node and the window wouldn't come up. At the same time the 'enter' button on my numeric keypad quit working for mission dialogue. Lastly, I got booted from the game when I tried to mine a different node.

The game selects a system 2 spots away from your station to spawn the Q target. You should move away from locked systems.

Bug Report: For the FT Hostile Eliminator events, killing hostiles with FT equipped works for the ALB, but not the SLB. Get 5 points per kill towards ALB, but only 1 point to SLB per kill. Both state killing hostile with FT equipped should add 4 points on top of the 1 point.

Sounds like you have the other problem then, the constant crashing one. You won't have good options there, either remove the ship from dock and into the hangar, or remove the FTs from the ships.

It's probably not your internet, it's a rather common issue today. I suspect it's caused in some way by FTs, that's why the workarounds are geared toward removing them from active status. It's generally very successful at getting past the constant crashing issue.

Yes, they will fix it. This is a workaround so that you can play the game without constant disruption, it's not the fix.

no offense meant here, but this is a problem...... and the fact that the developers didnt consider that a lucrative system should be considered out of bounds for placing a Q Trial in is incredibly dumb.

I strongly suggest this gets fixed ASAP... Im aware there is a workaround, but do you honestly believe that I should move my base from where its been for months because the game got updated with some new feature that shouldnt have made it past QA because of a problem like this???

1. If like me your ships start to bug out after you have equipped Forbidden Tech (equip stuff, send the ship out and return it to docks)... best you can do is unequip all Forbidden Tech and wait for Scopely to fix the game. Bug turns all client unplayable. Clearing Localization cash or restarting doesn't help. Android, Iphone and Windows are affected. To unequip Forbidden Tech, press the Forbidden Tech button on any ship in docks that DOESN'T have Forbidden Tech equipped, then use the buttons left/right on top left to go to the affected ship. And unequip the tech. After that, your ship should be usable again.

I personally swapped from amalgam (from where the problem started) to another ship (warship in my case... but any ship will do), changed my crews and then swapped back to amalgam and it worked... however... not only did it "unequip" the the FT on the amalgam, it removed the actual component.. it is now locked.... and also another bizarre behaviour... i couldn't start a formation mada... currently exchange, fed/rom/kling i can start.. cardi and solo are pending

Have metreon cascade torpedos on my talios...go to change officers it crashes every time.

I had to go to my ships and de-equip the new items from all my ships, and the game has become more stable. The sad part is I had to spend the new currency to take them off my ships after I spent the currency to put them on in the first place.

At this point the game is pretty much unplayable. Constant disconnects, crashes and drops. Can't change crews. Can't upgrade buildings without the game crashing. to change the location, you need to recall all ships to the station, including those located in locations with paid access (transwarp cell). What is the solution to the problem - changing the location, write a normal script for the respawn of ships .....

You’re missing the point; right now, if you want to do Q’s trials, you need to relocate or risk them spawning somewhere you can’t get to.

Nobody is saying it should stay like that, or that it’s “good”, just that that is what is needed at this point.

Or you can continue to waste bells spawning hostiles in places you can’t get, which is obviously not a desirable outcome.
