This is the most relentless bug, and it’s been around basically since the Bajoran Faction was introduced. At best, I have around a 50/50 chance of the game crashing when going into that faction store, and the chance of crashing goes up if I’ve been playing for anything longer than about 5 minutes…

Yep. Gets worse each release. Memory leak in app seems a safe guess. The more areas you flip through in game (not just faction store) the more likely you are to crash. I’ve started just relaunching app every 10-15 mins to avoid it.

Now that we are on the subject of pips
Aside from the ones that tell you there is something to collect, even when there is not, it is also frequently the other way around (something to collect but no pip). All in all a very scopely implementation: could be handy but current implementation results in annoying players becauae of quantity of pips and still not showing there is something to be collected.

try switching to windowed in game settings, dragging the window to take up (nearly) the whole screen, and then switching back to exclusive fullscreen in game settings.

The default resolution settings for whatever reason are 4:3 but the above will force it (close) to your monitor's native. Tested on a MBP connected to external 4k monitor and it works.

Hey, is anyone having issues loading the Mac desktop app? I installed it over the weekend and it loaded in to the new game tutorial fine. But since logging in to my Scopley account I can't get past "preparing". Have tried Repair and Uninstall options in the launcher menu. It's a loop bug, happen sometimes and very annoying. You got the rewards the first time.

It usually stop by itself. Try restarting, clearing localisation or opening any other chest

Yep, had rebooted the whole device, cleared the cache and app data, reinstalled it, set back to default, reinstalled updates, that issue persists. But can't tell a specific moment that happened. Happens just out of the blue.

Also have checked several setups with power management, limit CPU/ GPU, use Samsung gaming boost with priority settings. But besides more heat and less battery time, the issue came up again and again, so set it back to dynamic.

You don't have to mod anything, just download and install the game out of the app store regarding your device (iOS/ Android) or for your Mac/ PC and start playing. Most likely you'll come along that graphic issues, it is only a matter of time.

But I'd suggest, if some is still playing this game for years now and did not face this issue at any time, the devs should take a closer look to that device, where the player tells about, it never happened to him, while playing actively alot every day.

Maybe, that could bring new insights into why this is still happening on so many other devices.

Almost all interceptors have dual weaponry. These were designed with pmc/t in mind with the intention to make other options better so you might find other crews more suited to the task.

at the bottom of the screen it shows my hull health dropping by little over 50% after 1 lvl30 swarm fighter, the battle log shows less than 25%, but the actual damage done is between 49% and 50%(which in turn creates another bug where my ship gets destroyed but it counts as a win if i get 2x50% damage)
really inconvenient if there's conflicting information on ship health.

Congratulations. The latest update has introduced a new form of lag. You spot an opportunity and before you can do anything about it, the game crashes and the lag time to reload means that the opportunity has gone, or you have been destroyed before the reload finishes. For heaven’s sake, the game now crashes if you just look at it, you don’t have to be doing anything. Before someone chirps in with “raise a problem ticket”, tried that. All you get is a checklist (which as I have had this type of problem with the game before, I routinely go through), then a vague promise to pass the ticket onto the developers for action (which never happens). Then scopely closes the ticket. I have been in IT for many years and you don’t close the ticket until the problem is fixed, or by agreement with the user. Neither happens. It’s about time for a pause so that effort can be expended on fixing the bugs, not introduce new ones or make existing one worse with each update.

I can do without one event, without paying for it there is no chance to fulfill the whole set, it is not the first and the last that I have ignored or will ignore. The other bugs and lags bother me more. When I have to click on something 20 times to get it done, it's a headache. It's not always and everywhere, it mainly happens to me when I want to warp away and nothing happens. In order to be sure that the ship is flying away, I have to click until it appears that it is flying.

that's normal when looking at officers from the officers menu. when not assigned to a ship they will show their base stats.

It's an efficiency calculation bug, that should resolved itself next time you upgrade the warp module.

In the meantime you need to play on your efficiency cost to jump. Using rare stamet with green culber, with a 3rd for synergy, alone, etc
