No matter what range from Armada, either a pop up should show too far away, or any other appropriate. As already reported here a few times but not visible in the official announcements, the Armada start action is BROKEN. When in space you can start, sometimes when very close to space in another space you can start, but in most normal cases no way to start an Armada when not yet in the right space. This is definitely broken functionality and should be acknowledged in official announcements related to bug fixing that is ongoing.
Also still needed to restart the app even when trying to start an action that has to be done in a short time... regularly thereby loosing points unnecessarily since the action is not started even though it looked like it was...

theres a known issue from 2 years ago about mining where the nodes dont always clear when you leave them.

Typically you can restart app and it will clear (if you left the node yourself voluntarily) but in the case where you get killed on the node, I dont know what the fix is.

There's a workaround for your missing target popup issue, the popup's still there, just invisible, and the button works.

So... there's an issue where, if you're playing on the game on iphone and the screen closes, there's a good chance that the status screen for anything won't pull up, meaning you can't attack hostiles, mine, etc. It just gets into a perpetual loading loop. Short term fix is to then clear localization or restart app and hope my screen lock never comes on, but good god, that's pretty much every other time I start the screen.

Fun thing is you can sometimes click in the space where the attack button would normally populate and it’ll work. But after a while it doesn’t.

I have a problem where my alliance store does not have the 3 bounties buttons (MaquisBounties, Alliance Altruism, or Resistance Bounties) to left of “Epic Armada Pack”. I am Ops24, neutral in alliance reputation, and alliance commodore. I also have 35K Cardassian loot which I cannot spend.

Anyone have an idea what I may be missing to make those bounty button appear? Submitted ticket to Scopley and they said they couldn’t tell me why, just keep playing, and the missing buttons may appear. Meanwhile I can not do any starbase events.

Well, I'm guessing this is a bug, but darned if I know how to categorize it: I dug the Realta out of storage for the "Boom Goes the Realta! -SMS" event, but when I tried to get it to the systems where it'd have even a snowflake's chance, it was out of my warp range. So, I just went to a nearby system with intereceptors (Lvl. 17, yeah, the Realta'd be flattened)...but it was still "out of range." So I kept dropping it back further and further until I got a single system away:

@umbral nexus Mission "One Reaction" mission boss is extremely difficult. Completed everything else around this and later missions. I've had reports that larger ships even had troubles with it. Crewing tips from players-helping-players and even chaining 3 ships together doesn't seem to work. Other players on Server 86 have experienced similar issues with this particular boss. Could this be looked into?

Klingon mission, next step of The Sign of the Three mission chain. No recommended OPS level listed. The one listed after that one was Critical Mass and New Icarus which were able to be completed. Other missions with larger bosses, I was able to chain a couple ships together. This one seems impervious to that strategy

Please fix the alliance inventory leaderboard. It has been broken for 6 months. Very hard for alliance leaders to manage territory perks. We have submitted ticket upon ticket for 6 months. Still no resolve. Seems like a very easy server-side fix.

All leaderboards are broken. I watched an alliance on our server fall apart and lose more than 1/2 it's members... then because they never left the #1 spot they got a ton of new members that wanted to be in the #1 alliance. Maybe #5 now, but still in the #1 spot.

This is their top priority fix. You can try a workaround while you wait for them: pretend the popup worked normally and click where the attack button is. For most players, the game still has a working popup, just invisible.

Just pointing out a Bug with the 8th Drydock. If you got it and have 7+ ships inside your base you cannot be scanned or attacked. when only less than 7 ships are in you still cannot scan but attack and then check battlelogs. This is a pretty big deal @burnt warren . We also caught this early in the AM. With the new addition to Drydock H a player with all occupied ships home, or 7 of 8 filled... we cannot attack, or scan the base. Only 6 of 8 ships home can a base be scanned, and attacked.

This is getting exposed as we speak, and players are exploiting this not having to shield.

I cannot even scan my own base to reproduce the issue.

I happened to roll Spock shards and level him to 10 and it didn't count. So either some of these listeners are in there and others aren't, or it's doing something truly weird, like needing to count up 38 shards before it scans for level.

i.e. data is everything... and then the logic of the code is yet another... you typically never handle EVERY possible problem in first release of some code because you dont know of a way to test EVERY ERROR imaginable, so you pick up the first few cases that present themselves and develop that logic over time.

The oldest bug I have ever reported: Star Trek Fleet Command offers me a maximum resolution of 1280X800 with a Windows resolution of 4096X2160. Then earlier I wrote that (for me) the icons or displays on all panels are often displayed incorrectly or not at all and the problem is as old as the game itself and has certainly been reported by me and others more than once. The last should have the highest priority

Being unable to recall is often a "stuck ship":

Restarting the game can often fix a stuck ship, but if it's still stuck you can try the email option in contacting CS:

3. State the bridge officers on the stuck ship

Check your spam/junk folder settings and wait for them to fix your ship. It make take a few hours or a few days depending on their current load. Keeping it simple will ensure that you get swift resolution of your issue.

There may be an issue with UI scaling on the 3rd gen iphone se (2022 version). Help request submitted but clearing localization, a fresh install, and playing around with signing out of the games center to see if I can force a settings refresh have done nothing.

Once you hit your 2k hostile limit, you don't get anything, including rep. No loot, no chests. And it seems to be some kind of rolling 24 hr period. It's not specific to a certain time.

BUT if you hit your limit and stop receiving everything, you still get points for events. So it's not all a loss.

so, yes.... as I feared... unity event: the new help all button on the main screen and only counts as one help.... instead of 1...2...10 helps.... even though the same button registers as 1...2...10 helps on the daily goals. 😦 The only way I know to get around this is to click Alliance -> Help and click each individual request... but youve now added clicks to the process as before I could get to the screen in one click and click each help much quicker... As I said, the pip counter is not always up-to-date, it might show 5, but there might only be 4 helps available at the time.

Because other teammates are helping too, and there's a limit to the number of helps a build can have. If your client is not sync'd with the server, then your pip counter will be wrong.

you can have neutral hostiles in faction space - need to look at the target info closely sometimes.

If there's a bug. People here are keen to find out and mods can pass this on. But you didn't talk about your number of players tbh. Anyway, like I said you cannot control that situation and you are also unable to create two comparable sets of takeovers. That's a fact for several reasons.

I understand your objection, if the alliance has a lot of players, you can't keep track of it. But we're a mini-alliance and I'm online all the time because we expect an attack at any time. the number of knots is fixed and must therefore result in a minimum number of points. 1 node gives 3 points per minute. our area has 27 nodes. 27 nodes * 3 points * 19 minutes = 1539 points. 27 nodes * 3 points * 9 minutes * 3 bonus = 2187 points. Should result in a minimum of 3726 points. But it was only 1996. So something doesn't add up. I hope it is understandable now.

You mustn’t have been playing on an iPad over the past 3 years. This has been an issue through iOS 14 to 16. There seems to be a fundamental problem in the coding for the iOS client causing memory leaks. I’ve even experienced it on a brand new iPad, updated to the latest release at the time, with the STFC app being the only thing added from the App Store.

This is a new one to me. Trying to access support on iOS 16, latest client. Began typing my query, screen changed to this, app froze. 🙄
